She was always very informative with new properties that she thought might be right for us and every viewing we attended to Katie was always there waiting to greet us and ready to showcase the property to it’s full potential. Once we found are property Katie was amazing in helping us with every step of the way. She made the whole process very easy with constant support and communication between us chancellors head office and our new landlord. We truly appreciate everything Katie done for us and can only describe her as totally amazing and wonderful in her role as a chancellors letting agent . Highly recommended for a friendly and professional agent, both Richard and Paul seamlessly looked after the sale of our late mother's home.

He was friendly, knowledgeable about the local area and checked in throughout the process to keep us informed. Can’t recommend Ballards and especially Charlie more. 9th Mar 2026 (9 days ago)Would give 0 stars. Easily the worst letting agents in Reading. They’ll never fix the problems and the basic requirements from you. Whatever you report goes into deaf ears. We’ve been reporting about faulty blinds , leaking bathroom and lots of sharp nails from beneath the carpets for more than 6 months with no one turning up even once. Stay away even if the property looks cool.

Very knowledgeable on the area and could answer any questions we had, and very helpful where it was needed. we would highly recommend.

From the initial house visit through to receiving offers, we always felt understood and well supported. We had a couple of offers on the table, and the team kept us informed about the buyers’ situations at all times, which we really appreciated. Daniel in particular was very understanding and helpful throughout the process. We would definitely recommend the Romans Woodley office to anyone looking to sell their home or purchase a property.
27th Feb 2026 (19 days ago)We chose Bevilles to sell our much loved Edwardian property because of their long standing reputation as an outstanding estate agent. We were not dissappointed: We did not have a straightforward sale by any means, but Bevilles provided wise counsel throughout. They just have so many years' experience selling in Sonning Common and the neighbouring villages. They know the area and everyone knows them. It is not just Richard, but the whole team who work together and are always there when you need them. After two buyers pulled out and then seemingly endless viewings, our sale ended up in a bidding war. We were extremely pleased with the winning buyer who clearly loved the property as much as we did. We felt that, thanks to Bevilles, we were able to leave our rather special house and garden in very good hands.
22nd Dec 2025 (12 weeks ago)We recently bought our house from Farmer and Dyer and they were excellent in particular Simon. We had some uncertainty through the chain and he consistently went above and beyond to help even though this wasn’t his property but others in the chain. He always was responsive, proactive and made time to help and I think the main reason that everything worked out was because of him. Couldn’t recommend him and Farmer and Dyer enough!

He delivered the best deal for us as vendors in a challenging and competitive market.
12th Mar 2026 (6 days ago)Although Matt Davies at Knight Frank was not our agent for either our sale or our purchase, he was instrumental in getting our entire chain over the line hence why I felt the need to post a review. In what became a very complicated and stressful process, Matt consistently went above and beyond to keep things moving. He worked tirelessly behind the scenes to coordinate across the chain, chase outstanding issues and keep momentum when things could easily have stalled. His determination, persistence and willingness to step in — even when it wasn’t strictly his responsibility — made a real difference. Thanks to Matt’s efforts the chain finally progressed to exchange, allowing us to secure a house that we absolutely love. His professionalism, commitment and proactive approach did not go unnoticed, and we are extremely grateful for the role he played in making the move happen.
27th Feb 2026 (19 days ago)Avocado have been a pleasure to deal with throughout. Their marketing was superb and customer service has been exceptional throughout. I have been kept up to date throughout the process and feel confident that they are supporting me as a seller. I was a little concerned at first that their valuation was £25,000 above what another agent had provided, but I needn't have been as they secured an asking price offer a week after it went onto the market!

My partner rented a property that was heavily affected by ongoing anti-social behaviour, which made living there very uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the property manager, Bradley Lusted, was often unavailable and extremely difficult to reach when issues needed to be addressed. On top of that, once the tenancy ended there was a significant lack of transparency and communication regarding the deposit. It was unclear what was happening and responses were slow or nonexistent. Overall, the lack of support, communication, and accountability made the whole experience frustrating and stressful.
- 4th Mar 2026 (14 days ago)I have rented with Davis Tate for the past 6 years, then in Feb I relocated to another Davis Tate property in a nearby village. The whole process was managed through Rebecca based in the Reading office. Despite there being quite a few hurdles during the process, Rebecca was excellent, communicating with me almost daily. I cannot thank her enough, moving is stressful, yet Rebecca made the process much smoother, remaining upbeat, calm and supportive throughout. Highly recommended.
