Angelo and his team really helped us finding our beautiful home. We were given thorough information and responses to any questions promptly. We felt comfortable throughout the process and the results were amazing. We would recommend Woodhouse Estate if you are looking for a beautiful home to settle in.

My mother in law had never moved house before and Judy had care and compassion when helping find her perfect home, we couldn't be more grateful!
9th Mar 2026 (9 days ago)Would give 0 stars. Easily the worst letting agents in Reading. They’ll never fix the problems and the basic requirements from you. Whatever you report goes into deaf ears. We’ve been reporting about faulty blinds , leaking bathroom and lots of sharp nails from beneath the carpets for more than 6 months with no one turning up even once. Stay away even if the property looks cool.

5th Sep 2024 (1 year ago)From day 1 we had a large number or viewings all communicated promptly with dates and times. Feedback from viewers was always communicated well. Harry strived to achieve the best purchase price possible for us. Special mention to Matthew as well who photographed our house and helped us with the process. All at Parkers, Reading have provided an amazing service to make our sale as painless as possible.

22nd Dec 2025 (12 weeks ago)We recently bought our house from Farmer and Dyer and they were excellent in particular Simon. We had some uncertainty through the chain and he consistently went above and beyond to help even though this wasn’t his property but others in the chain. He always was responsive, proactive and made time to help and I think the main reason that everything worked out was because of him. Couldn’t recommend him and Farmer and Dyer enough!
12th Nov 2025 (18 weeks ago)Previously left a good review because we managed to find a house and the estate agent Mr Khan specifically requested us to leave a good review for him. Have changed it because as actual tenants of the house, when they were organizing house viewings, the first 2 times they came for house viewings with NO PRIOR warning, which is a breach of contract. They then solved the bug in their system, and proceeded not to come to for the allocated time they emailed us with, which is not a direct breach of contract, but was very unprofessional. These were the 3 times where Mr Khan came in for house viewings technically without prior warning, while the other agencies coming for house viewings were able to inform us appropriately and WITHIN the contract. Mr Khan then proceeded to say that he wanted to stop advertising the house altogether because he knew that we would "kick a fuss". But we feel that the actions we took were professional and necessary where we informed them in person and emphasized the severity accordingly as they were clearly breaching the contract. Overall, great for prospective tenants, but horrible for actual tenants.

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

I’d like to say a big thank you to John and team for all their effort’s in navigating us through what is already a stressful situation but was made worse by the solicitors (please only use recommended solicitors firms). I am grateful for the teams' patience and for not chasing us every 5 minutes like the previous agents (Hun***s). Thank you once again! Wishing the firm the very best.

27th Feb 2026 (19 days ago)Avocado have been a pleasure to deal with throughout. Their marketing was superb and customer service has been exceptional throughout. I have been kept up to date throughout the process and feel confident that they are supporting me as a seller. I was a little concerned at first that their valuation was £25,000 above what another agent had provided, but I needn't have been as they secured an asking price offer a week after it went onto the market!

Communication and an honest approach has enabled us to get to this point. Whilst at times we have felt like giving up, Michael has been proactively chasing the chain, sending multiple updates, keeping us informed at all times and kept us motivated for the end goal. By far the best agent out there.

From the start communication, care and patience was felt and truly appreciated especially having a hectic work schedule. Both Ella and Trinity have been exceptional and patient in all arrangements for viewing and in the execution of showing me three wonderful properties of which I made an offer to one and was accepted. Sincerely touched and greatful to Ella and Trinity. Thank you.
4th Mar 2026 (14 days ago)I have rented with Davis Tate for the past 6 years, then in Feb I relocated to another Davis Tate property in a nearby village. The whole process was managed through Rebecca based in the Reading office. Despite there being quite a few hurdles during the process, Rebecca was excellent, communicating with me almost daily. I cannot thank her enough, moving is stressful, yet Rebecca made the process much smoother, remaining upbeat, calm and supportive throughout. Highly recommended.
