From the initial meeting, agreement of the advertised sale price to the brilliant photos and video to attract the right buyers. Secured a solid first time buyer(!) in 4 weeks from advertisement to offer. I never truly understood the importance of having the right estate agent as everyone looks on Rightmove, however now I can see that a credible estate agent gets the right people through the door which beats just having a number of people viewing and the after offer support to ensure that everything ran smoothly has been brilliant. Highly recommend Grant Allen Estate Agents if you are considering moving! ??????????????????

From start to finish, the service was exceptional, and the sale of my flat was handled with professionalism, care, and genuine commitment. A special mention has to go to Nick, who truly went above and beyond at every stage of the process. He was proactive, responsive, and always willing to take the time to explain things clearly and keep me updated. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and his dedication made what can often be a stressful experience feel smooth and reassuring.

27th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)We requested a valuation. The person who came to visit our property was despondent and showed no interest what so ever in our questions. We were given no information on how the estate agency works the fees. Just a pamphlet show similar properties sold in our area. These were from other estate agents, so the moment they left I arranged for them to visit. Already had fabulous service and communication from the other estate agencies. Awful. Would not want them selling my property. Total lack of enthusiasm and information.

17th Jun 2026 (20 days ago)After 10 months on the market with another agent in Grays, I genuinely thought my house was never going to sell.<br><br>In all that time I only had 5 viewings and no offers. I hardly ever heard from the agent unless I chased them, and I was getting more and more frustrated as the months went by.<br><br>I had a leaflet through the door from Carter Remy offering a free valuation and, to be honest, I nearly binned it. I’m glad I didn’t.<br><br>They came round, had a look round the house and explained what they would do differently. There were no big promises, just a clear plan, so I decided to take a chance and switch agents.<br><br>Within the first week they had arranged an open day. I remember sitting there watching people arrive on my Ring doorbell and thinking “where was all this interest for the last 10 months?” There were 12 viewings in one day.<br><br>A few days later Craig called me and said they had 3 offers on the table, all at or above my asking price. I actually had tears in my eyes. It probably sounds silly, but I’ve had a really tough couple of years personally and the thought that I was finally going to be able to move and start the next chapter was overwhelming.<br><br>The sale itself wasn’t completely stress free, but that’s not Carter Remy’s fault. As with most house moves there were delays and solicitor issues along the way. Every time something needed chasing though, Anne-Marie and Allison were on it. They always came back to me, kept me updated and never left me wondering what was going on.<br><br>I completed 5 days ago and looking back, switching to Carter Remy was the best decision I made. They got me more viewings in a week than my previous agent managed in 10 months, found me a buyer almost immediately and helped get the sale over the finish line.<br><br>I can’t thank Craig, Anne-Marie, John, Allison and the rest of the team enough. They didn’t just sell my house, they restored my faith that there are estate agents out there who genuinely care about their clients.
