They gave feedback after each viewing, arranged for gas & electric tests and EPC and kept us informed of progress with the management company. They also provided a house clearance team. Easiest yes to go with Dawsons after all the other valuations I had with other estate agents left me feeling overwhelmed - it couldn’t have been an easier process. Accurate Valuation, house was up on the market a week later and sold within 4 working days of it going live. it’s been a breath of fresh air and so much easier than I thought . No money on Friday and it relied upon me to highlight to the agency that they sent my deposit of more than £1000 to a random person.- 6th Jan 2025 (1 year ago)The staff were very helpful and supportive. Throughout my tenancy, their communication has been consistently prompt and clear. Whenever a repair has been needed, it has been handled in a very sufficient timeframe with zero stress. The staff are lovely to deal with and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times. A truly reliable team!

1st May 2026 (8 days ago)The worst letting agency I've ever dealt with. Pushed my move in date because they failed to clean the property in time, scheduled an inspection twice over the year I lived in my property and didn't turn up either time with no explanation. My tenancy ended on 10/03/26 and still haven't received my deposit back and it's 01/05/26. Avoid at all costs.
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

They recently contacted myself and my former housemate to inform us we had credit on our account with them so they could give it back to us as we had long since moved out. Many other letting agents wouldn't have bothered to email and would have kept the money to themselves, but White&Jones are not like those others, they have credibility and honour. A property agent you can count on to do you right and not mess you around. Zero issues.

Pricing is right and fair and will work with you. Massive thank you to Yvonne for keeping me in the loop with everything and the chasing on my behalf, and lastly to James Taylor the man behind the sale of the property, any questions he was always there to answer, back and forth with all the viewings that took place top guy would definitely use in the future and recommend. Andy & Nicola are immediately responsive & so easy to contact, they prioritise weekend viewings & are very flexible. I couldn't recommend them more. They sold our house & we moved within just a few short weeks which was incredible! Thank you both for your dedication & personal service.

As first-time buyers we were in safe hands, from the numerous viewings we had with Calow Evans to completion of our new home, we were incredibly grateful to the team for being proactive and helping with any queries we had. Their genuine and candid approach meant that we never felt pressured with any of our viewings and when it came to the legal aspects they were always more than willing to assist where possible. Where there were issues within the process, communication was fantastic and explanations and effective solutions made the issues minimal. To those looking to buy whether you're first-time or well-experienced, I'd highly recommend giving Calow Evans a shot!
