16th Jul 2026 (6 weeks ago)Put in an offer which was accepted then received an email stating that purchase fell through. Lied and stated that it had been discussed on the phone which it had not. Dealt with us like we were buying a pair of shoes not a house! Hope to never deal with Louise ever again. Written an email to the area manager because the handling of the whole thing has been an utter disgrace. Constantly sounded frustrated that our house wasn’t selling quick enough - look at the state of the economy - houses aren’t exactly selling in a week! Anyway, if I do ever have to buy a house through Acorn, will be specifying who I do NOT want to deal with. Nonsense behaviour
3rd Feb 2026 (6 mo. ago)We rented a property in Chingford from 1 February 2026 through Claremont Estates. Zak and Mafiz acted as a great bridge between us, the landlord, and Goodlord. The entire end-to-end process was smooth, efficient, and well explained step by step. The property was professionally cleaned and met a high standard. Everything was handled properly, and we are very satisfied with the experience.

He also had a very good understanding of the property and local area. I would highly recommend!

The staff are genuinely kind, helpful and accommodating, and always do their best to arrange viewings around your availability.<br><br>I’ve found the team very honest and understanding throughout, while always maintaining a professional approach. There’s also a personal touch to the service that really makes a difference.<br><br>A special thanks to Adam for being so helpful, thoughtful and professional throughout.<br><br>Highly recommended!

5th Sep 2023 (2 years ago)Amazingly bad service We rented a complete owned property for just over 2 years. In that time we had about 5 property managers. This should say all you need to know. Each one not knowing what had gone on before. Given the fact a week before we thought we were moving in we had to chase them to find out nothing had moved forward and they were waiting on us to send documentation (we were not told). Throughout the 2 years they were never really there to help you. After we have left they have tried to keep around 75% of our deposit which is absolutely insane. Missing furniture that never existed in the first place, the most expensive cleaning quote imaginable and £50 to remove a single chair. These are some of the excuses on the quote. Try and avoid complete properties when possible!!

The whole team were incredibly friendly, helpful and supportive throughout, and always made me feel like I was in safe hands. They were responsive, professional and genuinely went the extra mile to make everything as smooth and stress free as possible, anything that needed fixing it was done immediately. Thank you to everyone at Truepennys, especially Laura and Georgia-Lee!! it was truly appreciated!!! David :)

(but all the staff there are good though). I found Harry to be very efficient and professional. He has great knowledge about the housing market and was always there to give good advice and support. 17th May 2026 (14 weeks ago)We were very happy with the services provided by McMahon & Partners. As we moved from Germany to London for the first time, the process of searching for a home and completing all the necessary paperwork initially felt quite daunting. However, McMahon made the entire experience smooth and straightforward. Our agent, Serwan, conducted a detailed viewing via video call, shared all relevant information upfront, and guided us seamlessly through the contract process. We were particularly impressed with: 1) The thoroughness and professionalism of the paperwork and inventory check conducted by McMahon, which ensured fairness for both the landlord and the tenant. 2) The prompt resolution of minor issues in the property by Louise, the residential manager, who was highly responsive and efficient. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with both the property and the service provided by McMahon & Partners, and we would highly recommend them.

I was impressed by his realistic appreciation of market conditions, his helpful and responsive attitude, by his integrity and his very ethical behaviour. All together an agency marked by exemplary professionalism- 19th Aug 2026 (5 days ago)Disgusting estate agent. They stole part of our deposit in regards to professional cleaning job. We paid around £450 for a professional cleaning job (this was included in the contract) on the day of moving out, and they still took a large part of our deposit due to the cleaning being done before we moved out. Truepennys, feel free to deny this, because I know you will, but we will just attach another review with evidence. So I suggest you don’t even try it. But, they got part of it back to us, just under half the money! Amazing, thanks truepennys!!<br><br>Oh and by the way, Mariem and Valencia are some of the most useless, rude agents ever. In fact, she even shouted at us down the phone when we asked some simple questions.<br><br>All in all, DO NOT go with these estate agents. They are awful. Thanks :)

Kit is incredibly responsive, and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is progressing well, and all parties are happy. I would absolutely recommend Kit and the team to anyone needing estate agents.
