2nd Aug 2026 (21 days ago)Stamfords were excellent when we were looking at a property they had listed for sale. Neena was very helpful in arranging the times when we could do a viewing to suit us, and allowed time to look around at our own pace. She was extremely professional, polite and friendly throughout, answering questions and queries without pushing or putting us under pressure. After a second viewing, we decided that the property was not going to be right for us, but that was nothing to do with the experience with Stamfords. I would not hesitate to recommend them and would be very happy to use them again.

13th Aug 2026 (10 days ago)The Romans agency was managing the flat I was renting in Maidenhead.<br>In October 2025, I reported damp walls (the roof was leaking) and mould appearing because of the damp. By July 2026, nothing was done to fix the issue, and the agent did nothing to help end the contract due to unhealthy conditions, only repeating that the landlord wouldn't want to lose a tenant. Other, smaller issues - like insufficient water pressure, insufficient amount of hot water to be able to do the dishes and take a shower in the same evening, carpets falling apart and tearing into threads - weren't fixed either.<br>When I gave a notice, and the flat manager came to see the situation with the walls, and acknowledged it was bad, they nonetheless proceeded to try and find a new tenant to live in a wet mouldy flat with crumbling walls.<br>Now it has been over a month since my contract ended, and my emails about the deposit are simply ignored by Romans.<br>Just really hope that karma exists, both for the agent and the landlord.
9th Aug 2026 (14 days ago)I had 4 Estate Agents come to view my property and was about to give up hope when Ben arrived, I immediately know I would list with B Simmons, continuous communication from Ben and Emily and regular feedback, it did take 18 months to sell but they did not give up hope and kept telling me the right person would come along, and they eventually did, I had regular market updates from Ben and although long they made what some call a stressful situation seemless. Thank you all for your help in the process
4th Aug 2026 (19 days ago)We cannot rate higher the service we have received from the Sales Team at Tim Russ. In particular Sarah West who has been a voice of calm and incredibly efficient in keeping the chain moving, talking to everyones solicitors and we have a moving date! In a tough housing market. Tim Russ has a role that once your property is sold the sales team give the process to be managed through to completion. Our City Solicitor is equally impressed and said he wishes all agents had such a role and ideally filled by someone as professional as Sarah.

What stood out most was their responsiveness and accountability. I never had to ask twice for an update, and every challenge in the transaction was met with a clear, practical solution. They are hardworking, skilled, and incredibly thorough. Never dealt with them or had any interaction with them. Don’t know how they got our email address. There is no option to unsubscribe. Horrible.

Everything was handled professionally, and I was able to move into my new home quickly without any complications.<br><br>A special thank you to Souliman, who was amazing throughout the entire process. From our very first phone call, he made me feel comfortable and welcomed. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. 18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

I tried to use a previous estate agent but found them to be uncommunicative, obstructive and economical with the truth. Jackson O'Rourke are the complete opposite. Special mention must go to Andre Silva who went above and beyond to sell my property. I will be recommending them to everyone!
24th Jul 2026 (30 days ago)I had a very disappointing experience with this company.<br><br>I viewed a property that I genuinely liked and told them on the same day that I wanted to move forward. Throughout the process, Sachin gave the impression that the property was effectively available and that my deposit would be accepted.<br><br>After that, I heard absolutely nothing. There was no update, no courtesy call, and not even a message to say the property had been agreed with someone else. I was simply left waiting.<br><br>The lack of communication and professionalism was extremely frustrating. If circumstances change, that’s understandable, but keeping potential tenants informed is the bare minimum.<br><br>Based on my experience, this company has a lot to improve when it comes to customer service and communication.

18th Aug 2026 (5 days ago)I think it depends what partnership you have, I one I had the sales pitch was great but the communication throughout once I signed up with them was terrible, at one point t after I chased and chased for feedback after 1 week after a viewing they told me I had an offer, yes it was very low, but I was never told.

Picked up keys today and very happy with the purchase for the price I got it for - would 100% use them again for another purchase as they have a lot of good deals if you are looking to buy tenanted property.- 17th Aug 2026 (6 days ago)Clare and team at Oakwood’s have been amazing to work with and the overall communication was excellent.
