14th Jan 2026 (7 mo. ago)Following various conversations with several estate agents we chose Bradleys primarily due to the professional attitude of Rachel Malone, the manager. She assisted with recommendations for portraying our house at its best and we secured a buyer within three weeks . There were communication difficulties within the chain but Rachel’s dogged persistence ensured that the sale completed. I would definitely use Bradleys again and think they provide a superior service.

1st Jul 2026 (8 weeks ago)Nick Jane and Emma Dark managed our sale. Savills’ fee was very competitive. Nick and Jane and their team were excellent, communicating at all points, constantly on top of events, making sure that all parties in our chain of 5 (!) properties worked at speed and together. We’ve moved a number of times, but this is the best experience we have had with estate agents. I have no hesitation in recommending the Savills Exeter team.

As a first time buyer, Sharon was reassuring and helpful and allowed me enough time when viewing to plan and imagine myself living there. I highly recommend Sharon and if ever I decided to sell, would use Fraser Wheeler again.

This time both properties we were selling and purchasing were with Dart and Partners and the sales team were supportive and professional throughout and provided regular updates.<br><br>Paul was very efficient right from the start and was able to answer with any questions we had and without him being so proactive towards the end, I do not think we would have achieved our desired completion date.<br><br>I would recommend Dart & Partners to anyone looking to sell.<br><br>Thank you.

9th Jul 2026 (6 weeks ago)Average, poor communication, poor picture quality etc, didn’t really push the house via their platforms, wasn’t happy with the write up etc<br>Was told by the manager at the time I couldn’t put my house on for the price I wanted it to be on for…. I’m the customer right, never told on a couple of occasions that the viewing didn’t happen etc<br>Did like Deon the mortgage broker tho he was amazing<br>Went with another independent chain after 3 months and sold within 4 days<br>Would never go with a huge chain like this again

13th May 2022 (4 years ago)I first met Brett a couple of years ago when looking into the student market. I didn't do anything at that time. It was a pleasure to meet Brett again in July 2021 when viewing another property, and subsequently other properties. Brett is generous with his time, doesn't rush you, and tells you the facts as he sees them. I feel he gives his views and advice in a very straightforward manner which is what you want as a buyer or a seller. I would have no hesitation in recommending Brett for his professionalism, friendliness and someone to go to for advice. I have now met the Lettings side of Star and found them extremely helpful as well.
22nd Mar 2023 (3 years ago)I had a very, very disappointing experience with Star Lettings back in the summer of 2021 – I'd been served with a section 21”no fault eviction” due to an issue with mold in the bathroom floor (which it transpired was caused by a “long term leak under the bath”) I still owe money to southwest water because of this. I'd reported the issue with the moldy bathroom floor to Star Lettings some two years previously. This notice to vacate was on hold throughout lock down due to Government legislation but didn't do much for my peace of mind. In my experience it seemed that the landlord always came first and I lost half my deposit even when I'd cleaned the house as requested though it was difficult given the underlying mold issue that should have been addressed when I raised two years previously. I was also told that the flat would be completely renovated as the landlord planned to turn the place into an AirB&B (which I believe has happened) so I left the place completely empty with a clean up as best as I could (thinking I wouldn't overly invest too much time in it, given the renovation would be going ahead anyway) After moving I contacted Star Lettings about my deposit but Star Lettings tried to withhold my entire deposit, in the end I managed to get back half of this, but not without a struggle. I needed the money as it certainly wasn't easy finding a new flat immediately post lock down

8th Jun 2026 (11 weeks ago)Very disappointing experience with Rendells Lettings in newton abbot.<br><br>We expressed serious interest in a rental property in early May, provided documents immediately, travelled down from Oxfordshire to see if we could view the house, followed up multiple times by email and phone, and even visited the office in person (told them it was an 8 hour drive for us). After which we got not one call or email from the person who runs the lettings dept. Throughout the process we were repeatedly told that the landlord would “come back with further instructions,” but after more than a month we still received no proper update or clear answer.<br><br>And also they told us that they get so many applications they just don’t care and will not respond to anything. They refuse to do online viewings (which all the other agencies are willing to do), don't respond to applications (after you have filled out given them your life on paper basically). Complete limbo.<br><br>Meanwhile, the property remained advertised online the entire time!<br><br>What made the experience frustrating was not necessarily losing out on the property, but the complete lack of communication and basic courtesy. Calls and emails went unanswered, timelines were unclear, and we were left unable to plan our own housing situation despite explaining that notice had to be given on our current tenancy.<br><br>Other agencies we dealt with in Devon were far more professional, responsive, and respectful.<br><br>Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend Rendells Lettings, other agencies in Devon are far far better and I can’t recommend them enough, Rendells lettings in newton abbot was in 25 years of renting through agencies the very worst experience i have ever had, take my advice and don’t do it

Picked up keys today and very happy with the purchase for the price I got it for - would 100% use them again for another purchase as they have a lot of good deals if you are looking to buy tenanted property.

7th Aug 2026 (16 days ago)I was mostly looked after by the wonderful Milly Orchard at Fulfords. (And, on the occassion I called when she was out, by Tammy, who was also wonderfully warm and helpful!). Milly was incredibly helpful, friendly and professional while I had to sort everything out on a crunched timescale for finding and moving in to a new place as a tenant, and helped me every step of the way to get into my new, wonderful place to live. Some of the usual process was complex in my case - difficulty accessing documents, having changed my name - but Milly was incredibly helpful in letting me know what we could do, how to do it, and generally keeping me informed and reassured as we figured it all out. It would have been infinitely more stressful without knowing I was in Milly’s hands, and she’s an absolute credit to Fulfords. Absolutely delighted by my move, and Fulfords were wonderful every step of the way. Moving can be so hectic and stressful, and they were wonderful, professional, helpful, and most of all amidst the stress of moving, every interaction felt warm and human and kind.
