23rd Jun 2026 (12 days ago)AI’d their photos on a house listing in Ackworth. The listing photo’s looked presentable, however when we viewed the photos were an absolute hellhole. Paul at the agency even admitted they do ‘enhance’ the photos. Don’t waste your time.
10th Jun 2026 (25 days ago)We have recently purchased a beautiful house through Carter and Jonas.<br>From the start of the process we have been fully informed and updated .<br>Extra viewings arranged and nothing we asked was too much trouble.<br>Catherine was extremely supportive and when sadly we had a bereavement in the family Catherine was both kind and professional and helped with making the purchase go as smoothly as possible under very difficult circumstances.<br>We can't thank Carter and Jonas and of course Catherine enough .<br>Now we start our new chapter in our stunning home ??????

Especially impressed by the quality of the viewings where are assigned viewing agent knew our property in and out, and was able to guage interest extremely effecitvely

31st Jan 2024 (2 years ago)What can I say, Parker Stag, Martin and his team are amazing. After deciding to sell my property, thinking, this is going to take months, especially as it was just before Christmas. I went to the office to confirm pictures where good to go live….10 minutes after leaving the office, I got a call from India, 2 viewings booked in for that afternoon!! 2 offers in by 17.00…AMAZING! Martin and his team kept me up to date and were so supportive. After formalities, my house sold within 3 weeks!! Everything went so smoothly and this could not have been possible without Parker Stags team, OUTSTANDING service. I can’t praise or thank them enough for everything they have done! 5*s all round. xx

Did not listen to us about sale price, sent people who couldn’t afford the mortgage, poor quality feedback, not making appointments at requested times, even phoned 2 days after we had moved to see if we had exchanged!DO NOT USE THEIR AUCTION SERVICE!were on the verge of changing agents when we struck lucky thanks to Covid!
2nd Jul 2026 (3 days ago)Poor service and extortionate fee for an admin check over 4 times the amount my solicitor charged for the same service.<br>When they sent their bill to my solicitor on completion it was over £1,000 higher than we had agreed!<br>They did eventually sell the house after a buyer dropped out because he couldn't get a mortgage even though Bridgfords had checked him out and said he had a mortgage.<br>Use another Agent!
20th Nov 2025 (7 mo. ago)They were always quick to deal with any questions I had, they had potential buyers very soon after advertising the property and had a purchaser lined up after 11 days, I’m sure no one could have done better than that in November.

Went on holiday to USA and carried on responding to emails, arrive home and they've sold the flat to someone else. I'd even instructed th solicitor they recommended to represent me. Very very dissapointing beaware of this of looking for property in Whitby.
24th Apr 2026 (10 weeks ago)Very pleasant freindly visit when pictures were taken giving helpfull tips and exchanged knowlege for services needed. We than ran into difficulty when buyer pulled out this was all chased up by Kaitlan who is a really credit to the company. With her help we secured another buyer in days, she also kept me informed all the way through even messaging in her own time to update and pass on questions. I would use again and recomend others use selectiv. As i say cant thank kaitlan enough for her effort and work ethic a real credit A1 service.

The previous team of Brian & Neil were excellent but now the staff won't return calls or emails and still owe me £150 since last Dec which they promised to pay but never have. Very poor.

30th Mar 2026 (14 weeks ago)The selling process was protracted due to issues with Land Registry. Ingelbys were helpful and patient giving us lots of reassurance during those stressful times. They found us the right buyers quickly and were pleasant and informative. Would highly recommend this office with particular thanks to Bev for sticking with us.

Jon gave us a fair and realistic valuation for the property and his write up and supporting photographs were excellent. All members of Hope & Braim who we encountered were efficient and friendly and gave us confidence in our choice of estate agent. We have already recommended H&B to friends who are looking to sell their property in the near future.
22nd Jun 2026 (13 days ago)Extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience. I paid a £150 holding deposit after being told the landlord had approved my application and that I would proceed as the tenant.<br><br>Only a few hours later, I was informed that the application had been rejected and the refund would be issued. The refund was not processed on time, forcing me to chase it daily with no proper communication or urgency. It was only returned after a full week of constant follow-ups.<br><br>Although the money was eventually refunded, the way this was handled was unacceptable, stressful, and shows a clear lack of professionalism and respect for tenants’ time and money. I would not use this agency again and strongly advise others to be cautious.

I almost lost my two bedroom house in Redcar due to the Dubious ways my previous Estate Agent handling of my property and the letting of it. Thank you so much Andrew .I couldn't thank you enough for protecting my future pension income. The property was bought to give me an income when I retire, but almost lost it because of the previous Estate Agents . I will always be grateful to PH Estate Agents. I can say without a doubt Andrew you are indeed a life safer in my time of high difficulty regarding the eviction, organising the repairs and successfully legally rented my property out. Thank you to you and your team. I will recommend you to anyone who is willing to buy,lettings ,organising eviction and repairs of properties ,for your professionalism, support and property lettings and sales expertise.
