5th May 2026 (4 days ago)When buying the house 5 years ago. We had problems with the solicitors they recommended. They said it would make the process easier as they would talk to each other without our input. They did not talk to each other and we had to do they run around 1 day before completion. We also purchased the house lifetime mortgage advisor service they offered. This year when changing providers came up, we were told to pay £99 admin fee for the mortgage brokering fee even though we had paid £499 for the lifetime broker offer. And again, there were miscommunication between broker and solicitor as the lump sum we were using on down payment was not told to the solicitor it was a gift. Meaning we were charged extra to overpay our existing mortgage provider the lump sum so we didn’t miss the completion date. I would strongly advise going elsewhere for mortgage deals and solicitors as we had very bad experiences with both.

23rd May 2024 (1 year ago)Bit strange, as my sister applied for a rental property and I was to be the guarantor they denied my application even though my payslips were valid? Stating I earn half the salary I put down? They advised me that home let denied my application but they were Lieing as home let has written it in email stating the above. MILLIE I think her name is the, she has been dealing with me on two occasions and for some reason both applications have been denied and then compulsively Lieing to me and my family. To be honest she’s bad reputation to the company. She doesn’t even know left from right let alone a guarantor. Would not recommend this company at all I don’t know if it’s racial profiling but to be honest it feels like that. Would advise people to stay away!

2nd Jan 2026 (18 weeks ago)Be warned this company is really bad takes deposits and makes excuses up not to proceed and to keep holding deposits along with taking a deposit and when partner admitted she had previous credit issues they tried to say it was not declared when it was and have proof of this. I will be doing full media coverage about this company on tiktok and Facebook so I will upload all proof what I am saying and then you will know not to use Drummonds at all if you are a Tennant or a landlord. I will update a link later today to show evidence and full correspondence from colin drummond of Billingham. 17th Apr 2026 (22 days ago)The valuation was great, the woman was lovely and photos were excellent. The communication stopped after a few weeks. The house was listed with 2 agents, when I did a viewing with the other party they said about how they'd tried to contact holbrooks and couldn't get through. I received a call about a viewing after no contact for weeks and told them the there had been an offer on the house and was sols stc, the woman rudely said you could have told us. I would have if there had been any contact! Overall wouldn't recommend them.

The previous team of Brian & Neil were excellent but now the staff won't return calls or emails and still owe me £150 since last Dec which they promised to pay but never have. Very poor.
24th Jan 2026 (15 weeks ago)Estate agent Vikki Allison very unprofessional, terrible service n simply does not care to sell your property. Not informed of potential buyers whom a couple having to contact me directly making me aware of their lack of help. Not even informed prior to viewings, sent reminder only night before. Board still left broken outside for weeks now when told fixed in 2 days. Advert incorrect stating '1 bathroom' when there are 2 bathrooms in fact . 3 toilets in total with 4 bedrooms. Left unchanged for a month after notifying them. Was told initially by Vikki I would be looked after as having mental health concerns but this woman, it would seem, deliberately sabotages any success. I have read all of these reviews n I am far from the first to receive a disgraceful experience.

14th Apr 2026 (25 days ago)If you are a tenant with this company, then be on your guard, as operate a very underhand business. I was given a section 21 after living at the property for 18 years and did everything in my power to move as quickly as possible. I kept them fully informed of all I was doing to move, so the landlord didn't have to incur extra court fees also. The thanks I got for this was them trying to take my bond!!! Tried to say I owed rent, which I didn't and they rectified this but then wanted money to clean a broken extractor fan and oven that was gifted to me by previous landlord. Catherine originally told me not to worry as all would be wear and tear. This was not the case. The minute I moved out (in a hurry as they requested) I was then slapped with a bill for oven cleaning, rent owed etc. If you are a tenant and receive a section 21, then don't help them, as they don't appreciate anything you do! The thanks you will get is them trying to take your bond! Despicable behaviour!

Cannot compliment Louis and Sally enough on their knowledge, passion for property and professionalism, and would highly recommend!
