25th May 2023 (3 years ago)Arrogance at the highest level! Was informed 24 hrs prior that my valuation had to be moved as a staff meeting was more important. Already booked the day off so fuming at the complete dis regard of this outfit. Completely unprofessional and extremely arrogant in my opinion!!!! Lesson learned!!!

Claire gave a realistic valuation & I was delighted to receive the full asking price for my property. The sales team were all lovely & always kept me up to date with feedback from viewings etc. I would recommend them for selling your property.

23rd May 2024 (2 years ago)Bit strange, as my sister applied for a rental property and I was to be the guarantor they denied my application even though my payslips were valid? Stating I earn half the salary I put down? They advised me that home let denied my application but they were Lieing as home let has written it in email stating the above. MILLIE I think her name is the, she has been dealing with me on two occasions and for some reason both applications have been denied and then compulsively Lieing to me and my family. To be honest she’s bad reputation to the company. She doesn’t even know left from right let alone a guarantor. Would not recommend this company at all I don’t know if it’s racial profiling but to be honest it feels like that. Would advise people to stay away!

14th Oct 2025 (8 mo. ago)Tried selling a flat with them and it was a drawn out and painful process. It lasted more than a year before it fell through. Going with their contractors and solicitors was the biggest mistakes I made in the sale. I thought if I went with their recommendations, they will facilitate the process, but no. One was dishonest and the other one completely incompetent. Stuart Edward was initially responsive, but then when run into problems months down the line, Lindsey stopped answering calls and the boss Stuart did not call back when messages left. I was left on my own to deal with all the technicality and mess. It was so horrible and stressful, I do not wish it on anyone. Two stars was being very generous as they were ok initially. I went with them because I wanted to support family business. Never again.

The team were extremely helpful, professional and friendly at all times.
3rd Jul 2026 (2 days ago)Arrived on time to give a valuation and informed us when the viewings were taking place.- 17th Jun 2026 (18 days ago)Dowen, Unprofessional estate agent.… I was very disappointed with Down estate agents, I booked a viewing for 1400hrs on the 17th June, at park road Hartlepool, and confirmed it with the agency, we waited for over 30 minutes for an agent to turn up, but no one did, I called their office and the lady said she's stuck in traffic she will be there shortly, we waited for a further 20 minutes, but no one turned up, I called the office again but this time no one answered, so I left a message, stating that if no one turns up in 5 minutes, we won't be bothering with the viewing, no one turned up, this company is so so so unprofessional, and I would not recommend anyone to do business with them, if they can't be bothered to turn up for a viewing of a property, then it says it all, It's that bad that I can't start rate them,
4th Jul 2026 (1 day ago)I can’t thank Debbie and the Billingham office enough for everything they did throughout my sale.<br><br>We encountered a major legal issue with a deed of variation, which took over 14 weeks to resolve and caused a great deal of stress and uncertainty. Throughout the entire process, Debbie was absolutely fantastic. She was incredibly supportive, always chasing solicitors and other parties for updates, keeping me informed every step of the way, and always available to talk whenever I needed reassurance.<br><br>Her professionalism, dedication, and genuine care made a difficult situation so much easier to deal with. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and I always felt supported from start to finish.<br><br>I couldn’t recommend Debbie and the Billingham office highly enough. Thank you for providing such outstanding service and going above and beyond.
17th Apr 2026 (11 weeks ago)The valuation was great, the woman was lovely and photos were excellent. The communication stopped after a few weeks. The house was listed with 2 agents, when I did a viewing with the other party they said about how they'd tried to contact holbrooks and couldn't get through. I received a call about a viewing after no contact for weeks and told them the there had been an offer on the house and was sols stc, the woman rudely said you could have told us. I would have if there had been any contact! Overall wouldn't recommend them.
3rd Jul 2025 (1 year ago)Since this company has been taken over in 2024 it has lost its professionalism and customer service. The previous team of Brian & Neil were excellent but now the staff won't return calls or emails and still owe me £150 since last Dec which they promised to pay but never have. Very poor.
4th Jun 2026 (4 weeks ago)A massive thank you to Carla and her team for selling my house, it was a long and difficult journey which Carla travelled with us, it took an awful lot of time and hard work on Hegarties behalf to get me to the end. Carla is extremely good at her job, with advice and negotiation. I would recommend Hegarties at Houghton.

30th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)Property sold after 3 days of listing and completion took place around 1 month later. Can't complain - Divan & Jack were amazing and kept me reassured the whole time. I'll be bringing Let Property another one of my on the next tax year. Highly recomended.
