5th May 2026 (3 days ago)We took the decision to move estate agents and use Richard Kendal after our house listing had no viewings. We didn't regret the decision, Richard Kendal were professional from start to finish and our account manager Liz was fantastic! Always at the other end of the phone with advice when we needed it and kept us informed right the way through with any updates. She also kept things moving along with all parties involved including solicitors so we didn't have to.
22nd Apr 2026 (16 days ago)Our chain looked straight forward on paper but we had so many unnecessary issues up and down the chain which caused us so much stress and confusion. One of the only reliable professionals we had was Heidi. She was the agent for the house we were purchasing and she went above and beyond what she needed to do to help keep the chain moving and get us some answers to what was going on. If we ever move again we would probably use Simon Blyth.
18th Jul 2025 (9 mo. ago)Charge customer for a expensive cleaning service, when ever the room got broken toile cover and unclean floor from the beginning.Even the wall are dirty with broken mirror on the wall. They don't even want to repair the house ?just continue checking and annoying. Respond: The kitchen floor and ceiling are always flooded with water, but they do nothing for the leaking. I need to clean the floor for many times. They should pay for my cleaning service aswell. No matter how clean when I clean up the room, they always told the tenant it's not clean enough and charge for a expensive cleaning service. They just want to get your money from the deposit. Don't trust them !

7th Apr 2026 (4 weeks ago)I had a very frustrating experience dealing with Whitegates. After my contract ended and I had given proper notice, my property remained listed on Rightmove without my consent. Despite multiple emails and phone calls, I received little to no response, and promises of callbacks were not followed through. It felt like I was being ignored, and the property continued to be marketed even after I had clearly withdrawn instruction. I was also told a £250 termination fee was required, but this was only withdrawn after I challenged it and escalated the matter. Eventually, the issue was resolved, but only after significant effort on my part. Communication throughout was poor, and the situation could have been handled much more professionally. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to carefully review the terms of agreement and be prepared to follow up persistently if issues arise. Unfortunately, I would not use this agent again.
5th Apr 2026 (5 weeks ago)Our experience with William H Brown has been extremely distressing and, frankly, shocking in terms of professionalism and conduct. From the outset, communication was unacceptable. Emails and phone calls were repeatedly ignored, sometimes for long periods, leaving us completely in the dark and forced to chase basic information. This created unnecessary stress and gave the impression that once they had our interest, responding to customers was no longer a priority. What made matters far worse was the way my daughter — a first-time buyer with very limited knowledge of the property market — was treated. Instead of being supported and guided responsibly, she appeared to be subjected to pressure and tactics that felt opportunistic and unfair toward someone in a vulnerable position. There were statements made to her that later proved to be inconsistent or misleading, which raised serious concerns about honesty and transparency. We were particularly troubled by what felt like a persistent push toward using their in-house broker, with claims that it would be more affordable. When this turned out not to be the case, it left us feeling deceived and taken advantage of. For a young buyer entering the market for the first time, this kind of experience is both intimidating and damaging. Overall, the behaviour we encountered came across as evasive, unhelpful, and at times sly. Trust is essential in property transactions, yet our trust was repeatedly undermined by poor communication and questionable conduct. Based on our experience, we would strongly advise others — especially first-time buyers — to approach this company with extreme caution, keep detailed records of all interactions, and carefully verify any information provided. A deeply disappointing and troubling experience from start to finish.

They went above and beyond to get the viewers in to look at the property and tried their best to advertise the house in the best way possible. Finally we have a buyer and its thanks to David and Freddie. Trust, honesty and straight talking is what you want and its what we got with them so thank you both again.
