22nd Jan 2026 (8 weeks ago)We saw a property for let online, and last week my partner reached out to the agency to request a viewing and ask what documents were needed for the application. We were told we’d get an email with the details, but never received a response. After ome week I followed up asking for both a reply and a viewing, but again, nothing. Honestly, it’s not surprising the property has been on the market for almost a year—prospective tenants shouldn’t have to chase basic communication. Because of this lack of professionalism and responsiveness, we decided to look elsewhere and won’t be dealing with this agency.

3rd Apr 2021 (4 years ago)The staff at the Warlingham office were extremely helpful and pro- active in pursuing the sale of my property and in driving the matter through a number of issues to achieve completion. I was extremely satisfied with their professional service, courtesy and perseverance.

7th Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)I cannot recommend Brown and Brooke enough. From the initial recommendations to being tenants with them for almost 3 years the experience has been exceptional. Cameron was our contact and he was efficient, professional and always responsive. As a landlord myself in another country, I genuinely wish we had him managing our property there, as good realtors are hard to find. When I visit for business they will be my first port of call even for temporary accommodation, as they have my trust. Thank you Cameron and Brown and Brooke.
2nd Jan 2026 (11 weeks ago)Enquired 3/11/25 about a rental property at Albany Ct., Bromley Rd., Shortlands that had caught my eye on Rightmove. Instead of being able to speak directly to a human being at their office I was sent an online form via SMS to complete(!). So I duly filled in the form and submitted, fully expecting somebody to have the courtesy to respond. Nobody ever did. Chased it up via a ‘phone call their Southborough Lane, Bromley office 9 days later where I left my details and nature of enquiry to be passed on. Again, nobody ever got back to me. Just the other week I noticed that the property has since been let. Questionable customer ethos and strikes me as a strange way to run a business if they are going to simply ignore prospective tenants?
10th Jan 2026 (10 weeks ago)This review is for Zoe Haylock Myers —Mortgage Advisor and the sales team Jonathan Evans, Corinne Dixon and Nick Taylor. We bought our house through Bairstow Eves and got our mortgage through Zoe. Zoe made the whole process SO easy for getting a new mortgage, I couldn’t believe it. She was transparent and very professional. When changes were needed, she made them seem seamless. Would highly recommend her. The sales team were great. Jonathan, who I had most interaction with, was always cordial, a delight to interact with and just made the communication with our seller very easy. Thanks to the team’s responsiveness, they helped us move in a chain in 4 months - basically unheard of these days. Thanks for all your work, Bairstow Eves!
9th Mar 2026 (10 days ago)Contacted Nicholas on their chat service twice, 02nd and 05th Mar 2026 to arrange a visit by one of their valuers. No one called back in response to either contact. I was surprised and disappointed and so sent an e-mail to Andrew Harwood on 06th Mar, their Residential Director in Sevenoaks to make him aware and ask someone to call me as matter or urgency. No call back as of 09th Mar. Shocking. If that's how they deal with Sellers, what opportunities are being missed with potential buyers??

10th Mar 2026 (9 days ago)Really rude scruffy asian woman showed me around a few flats. Looked down on me and acted like a snob, I will be taking my interest in purchasing elsewhere. Do not enquire or deal with Pickwick unless you are keen on being stereotyped. AVOID AT ALL COSTS if you value being treated with dignity.

If you need an higher price, other estate agents will try to find that for you. That might be the right approach for you, but if you want to sell at the market price, Standford’s aim to do that for you.

21st May 2025 (9 mo. ago)Sinclair Hammelton…. Professional, responsive, helpful, pro-active, realistic, genuine. Achieved our sale within three weeks of instruction. Really helped us secure a viable sale quickly so we did not loose our preferred purchase. You don't get better than that.

18th Nov 2024 (1 year ago)Excellent communication, attention to detail and don't take on too many clients (unlike some other agents I considered) and so had the time to be thorough and do a great job, going above and beyond what I expected. Jules negotiated an unexpectedly good sale price for my house and, with the additional support of Nicola at the Whitfields office to progress the sale, really helped keep everything on track. Both buyer and seller are treated with respect and honesty and there is regular communication with both parties right through to completion.
11th Feb 2026 (5 weeks ago)We sold our house in Buckhurst Hill. Alter and Cope helped immensely throughout the process. They were extremely helpful with the initial valuation and we always got feedback from viewings. They were also on hand to accommodate us logistically for the viewings. After we found the buyer they were always responsive and helpful to any questions we had. A sale can be stressful but they made our lives a lot easier with constant, helpful and responsive communication. 10/10
