Our house was on the market for almost a year (with a short break) with another agent, we then put it on with Syd and we had multiple viewings and offers within a couple of weeks. Instead of just waiting for enquiries, we felt that RA Bennett were proactive and would actively sell our house to potential buyers that hadn’t specifically enquired about our property. We were really impressed with the communication to keep us in the loop, and viewing feedback was provided on the same day, or next day. They were all super helpful throughout the entire process, especially Syd, Mia and Naomi.
4th Jun 2024 (2 years ago)My sister and I instructed Murrays estate agents in Stroud to deal with the sale of my late mother’s house and were very pleased with their highly efficient service. Callum Jones dealt with matters and was always available to discuss matters. He and Richard Murray gave us good, clear considered advice at every point of the transaction and liaised with the buyers at key points to ensure matters went smoothly. They also have excellent local knowledge and produced a very impressive sale package. The whole team is highly professional, pleasant to deal with and my sister and I felt able to trust them to produce the right result. We would highly recommend them.

Truly lovely and worked hard to find us the property that was right for us. Incredibly responsive via phone or email. 23rd Jun 2026 (12 days ago)Very disappointing experience with Mark David. After eight weeks on the market, we had just one viewing and very little communication or proactive marketing. When we asked why our property wasn’t selling, we were told it was because of Donald Trump and the current wars in the world, rather than being given any meaningful advice or strategy. We are now back to square one and have to find a new estate agent, yet we’re tied into our agreement until the end of July despite many of the things we were promised not being delivered. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I would not recommend Mark David.

We were a 2 hour drive from Chipping Campden and the local knowledge and expertise of Ellie and the team were a huge help in finding the right house. They know Chipping Campden inside out and could tell us everything about local facilities and services. They were also brilliant in getting the sale through - getting paperwork, chasing solicitors and keeping everything moving. 30th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)My wife and I were visiting the Malmsbury area visiting friends when we became aware of a house for sale in Hullavington village which was of interest for us. This was at 1230 on the day we were due to return home to Cornwall. I immediately telephoned the Strakers office in Malmesbury to enquire whether there was any possibility of a viewing. Winnie took my call, and after a few minutes whilst she checked with the vendors whether a short-notice visit would be ok, she confirmed an appointment for 3 pm later that afternoon. Although the property didn't quite match up to our requirements just having the opportunity to have a viewing without having to make a return trip from Cornwall was extremely helpful. Thank you Winnie.
