30th Dec 2025 (6 mo. ago)My experience with Gadsby Nichols during my recent sale was extremely positive. Communication between me and the buyer was handled by Liz and Trish. They helped move the process along and kept me informed of any progress. When I was let down by a removal firm at the last minute, they stepped in quickly and were able to recommend a reliable alternative. The team were supportive without being overbearing, which helped make the whole thing far less stressful, particularly as I was in the middle of a chain. Any questions or issues were dealt with promptly, and the team were knowledgeable and professional. I would be happy to recommend them to others.

12th May 2026 (8 weeks ago)Having met Claire Brown I felt confident in signing with William H Brown. What a mistake! I decided to try the modern auction method as I had no above chain. I filled in all necessary paperwork with the solicitor & auction house. 2 negotiators were sent round and promised me (Ryan particularly) that absolutely they could sell my house, it was beautiful and it would be a pleasure to sell it etc etc. Within a week I went into the office as had heard nothing and asked was there anything I could do . I was told no there wasn’t. Having been informed by Ryan that January was busy initially he then retracted stating with another member of the team that this January was the worst on record. I received 1 phone call from Ryan telling me had an interested party, hmmm don't think that was true. Said interested party obviously never materialised. In 12 plus weeks I have not heard from any staff ! The auctioneer has been in touch on and off. Thank goodness my time is now up and my contract terminated. I would advise anyone thinking of signing to not waste your time as first impressions are not always the best. I absolutely would not recommend this company. They are beyond unprofessional in every way. Please people, there are clearly far better agents in Rushden & Higham Ferrers.

23rd May 2025 (1 year ago)Whilst the service up to sale agreed was fine after that limited if any progress, no sense of urgency, no keeping clients up to date Dates for completion kept being put back Resorted to speaking to my solicitor as MM were hopeless No update at all the week of completion so if it was left to them I wouldn’t know whether I was supposed to be completing today
14th Feb 2026 (20 weeks ago)Constantly having to chase them up to get new tenants in. Towards the end on one tenancy, after hearing nothing I phoned up and Aaron said "oh would you like us to list it to get a new tenant?" WHAT? Not a good experience.

Buying a home can be a stressful experience, but Hannah and Glenn made the whole process as smooth and straightforward as possible. From the very beginning, they were incredibly helpful, kind, and accommodating. Whenever I called with questions or needed an update, they were always approachable, patient, and willing to go the extra mile to help. Their communication was excellent, and they kept me informed throughout every stage of the purchase. 6th Jun 2026 (4 weeks ago)We used Elizabeth Gaughan Homes to try and sell a house we had previously let.<br>This is a very bad time to sell as the market is stagnant. Interest rates are likely to rise and could increase by 1.5% according to some analysts.<br>Weeks turned to months and we were not getting anyone to view. We then decided to switch to another estate agent in Beeston. We used a large firm which has been on the High Road for decades. Suddenly we were getting viewers and offers. I'm pleased to say that last week we accepted an offer for the full asking price.<br>We wish Elizabeth Gaughan Homes well, but in these times, it is prudent to use a larger well known firm.

I would highly recommend Home Sale to my peers. I preferred Home Sale to the high street estate agents as they are independent and personal to the seller and helpful when the sale went through. Tracey was brilliant every step of the way and kept the ball rolling throughout, as was Amrit who sorted out mortgage and insurance for us. Highly recommended!
