8th Jul 2021 (5 years ago)Staff are friendly and genuinely helpful. The business is often generous towards clients, whether purchasers or renters. Family run organisation so there is a personal touch. I have been a client with them for over 20 years and recommend them unreservedly.

My main dealings have been with Brooke; she is a very caring, thorough and professional young lady who will go far, and is an asset to the business. She has been very patient and gone out of her way to find exactly what I was looking for. She went above and beyond by coming out to show me properties on her day off at the weekend.<br>I then had communications with the owner Steve, and I could tell that he genuinely cared and wasn’t out to make as much money as he could out of me. He took the time to give me lots of advice and info; this greatly reassured me and I was most appreciative of this.<br>I am now looking forward to working with their letting team going forward.<br>I cannot fault the agency, and thoroughly recommend them.
5th Apr 2026 (20 weeks ago)Disorganised viewing and poor customer experience We visited a property through Tanners Properties Nottingham, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing from start to finish. The agent arrived late, and multiple groups were allowed to view the property at the same time. It felt more like an auction than a proper viewing, with no structure or consideration for individual applicants. The agent made little effort to engage—there was no proper introduction, no guidance during the viewing, and he simply stood aside while people walked around. At the end, he briefly mentioned the application process, which involves completing forms that go very deep into personal details. I understand background checks are necessary, but the level of information requested felt excessive and intrusive. It’s also surprising that a company operating this way doesn’t manage proper appointment slots or a more professional system. Background checks could easily be handled through established services like Experian or ClearScore, rather than putting all the burden on applicants. It gave the impression they are trying to cut costs at the expense of customer experience. Although the property itself was good, the service was poor enough that we decided not to proceed. Based on this experience, I would not recommend them.
14th Dec 2024 (1 year ago)What an absolute brilliant team. Marc was there to show me round the property. Very pleasant and knowledgeable. Rachael, well there are no words good enough to explain the help that she gave me. She was my rock through all this and went more than above and beyond for me. If anyone is thinking of using this estate agent then go for it you will not get a better service from anyone.
3rd Jul 2024 (2 years ago)I have found Cadley Caldwell staff very helpful and friendly. They always keep us informed of viewings and are willing to answer queries and discuss options. Their advice re sale price was much more realistic than other agents.
6th Jun 2023 (3 years ago)I was forced to live with rats for months and would not sort the problem as soon as I left they put it straight back onto the market I see this property come up on the market every six months due to the same rat problem I’m guessing terrible company! The whole building needs destroying! Rats in every property! Tramps
8th Mar 2019 (7 years ago)Awful and a complete waste of time, we were running slightly late because of really bad traffic so had pushed our viewing back to 5pm and arrived at the property a few minutes before hand, we went to see if someone was in the property but no answer so called the agent back to which they said "we waited till 5 but we're now back at the office so we'd have to rearrange" I was curious as I said to the agent it's actually 5pm now so how did someone stick around till 5? They then hung up ..... Safe to say I feel bad for whoever is selling that property as this is horrific service. I'm not best pleased that it took us 45 mins to get there to be let down. I will not be wasting my time with that company again

Drove 1 and a half hour all the way from to Lincoln to Derby, only to be told that landlord forgot about the viewing and is away with the keys so property is locked. Ridiculous service. Highly unprofessional. The guy wanted to show me the lifts and communal area which is a joke!

3rd Jul 2026 (7 weeks ago)We have used the tenant finder service for iLet properties several times over the last 13 years. Always, new tenants were found quickly and the house had never been empty for too long. But over and above this, FJ has always been on hand to take my calls and answer my queries and provide advice, even in potentially tricky situations. I thoroughly recommend his service if you are needing to let out your property in the Northampton area.
