29th Sep 2022 (3 years ago)I'd happily recommend Sharman Quinney to anyone looking for mortgage advisor. I used them to get a mortgage for purchasing my first house. Phil was extremely helpful and made the experience very easy. I had been left in the dark by another mortgage advisor which made the start of the already daunting experience even worse. Phil set me at ease, he made the effort to keep in contact and guide me through the whole process. He explained everything clearly and offered good advice wherever I was unsure. All while being a genuine and friendly guy who clearly cares about his client’s needs.
17th Feb 2026 (29 days ago)I have to say what an amazing experience i have had dealing with Stamford's Newton Fallowell estate agents , they came highly recommended and certainly lived up to my expectation . Henry Warren priced my property on the mark , I needed a offer on the table through a time constraint placed on me , I had a total of 14 viewings , 3 separate offers and it sold in 5 weeks , it sold for over the asking price which came down to a good marketing strategy from Henry , I took his advice from the start and it all worked out for me perfectly . The communication was there from the start they kept me up to date with everything that was happening in the process , totally professional and with great advice when I asked for it, the whole team worked really hard for me and they delivered . I honestly cannot thank them enough and would absolutely recommend then to anyone in the housing market .

Eight years ago, when we purchased the farm, Melissa was working for a different agent and supported us through what was a particularly complex and far-from-straightforward transaction. We never forgot how capable, calm and supportive she was throughout that process, so when the time came to sell, she was the natural choice to represent us. From the moment Melissa took over the sale, the experience was seamless. She went above and beyond at every stage, always being available, doing exactly what she said she would do, and even negotiating on our behalf while on annual leave. Her dedication, professionalism and attention to detail were outstanding, but what truly set her apart was the genuine care and understanding she showed throughout what can be a stressful process. Melissa not only achieved a quick sale, but also secured an offer almost £200,000 higher than another agent had suggested we should market the property for. 3rd Mar 2026 (15 days ago)Shocking service from Rosedale. Over exaggerated promises which fell extremely flat upon delivery. The advert wasn't correct from the start, I had to contact the agents three times to rectify. Even after all this it still wasn't right, and I'm talking basic, basic things such as putting the right rooms and windows on the floorplan, and features such as solar panels in the advert. It was like a child had written it. If I were an estate agent, I would have discussed the price with the vendor and mentioned the stamp duty thresholds fell close to my price bracket so it would be fortuatus to set the price as near to this threshold as possible. I waited for this "knowledge" from any of the Rosedale agents- again it never came. Oddly we had a viewing the very next morning, but then absolutely nothing for the best part of three months until I gave up, and gave them notice to cease their "services"! I did not have a single call from this office during this time, no updates, no mention of analysis and analytics of the market. Not once asking us if we wanted to adjust the price etc. Just nothing as if it wasn't even on the market with them. To add insult to injury our property was never even featured in their window, or on their social media pages, which was strange as many others were. Again was just told "sorry" no reason given for this. Another thing Rosedale bleet on about is drone footage on your property listing. Again this was never done for us. When I enquired, it was with the attitude, "well if you ask we can do these things" Why should I have to ask to get my advent right, ask to get any feedback, ask to get the selling tools they promise?! Who do they think is working for whom here?! Our sale board fell down shortly after it was erected, again me doing all the work informed them and no one was ever sent to put the board back up. After our property not surprisingly failed to sell, we took it off with Rosedale, I then had to ask them to come and collect the sales board. That was November and four months on the board was never collected! I am an experienced seller, ex landlord and have sold a few properties myself also. But honestly here I am shocked by the level of incompetence experienced here. It was such basic things, I can't believe they manage to sell anything. Must rely on inexperienced people and desperate sellers.

The whole team works very well together and rallies round to sort any queries, but most of our dealings were with Emily and Tina who were both excellent throughout the whole process.

20th Feb 2026 (26 days ago)The girls at Whitegates Newark are amazing! I had just moved up for work and was scrambling to find a place. I sent enquiries to a few estate agents, and Julie got back to me straight away over the phone. She wasted no time arranging viewings for great properties that were exactly within my budget. While other agents were sending irrelevant questions over email with no real sense of urgency, Julie was proactive and genuinely helpful. She found me my apartment on the very first day! After that, Alex took over and was incredibly patient and supportive throughout the whole application process, both over the phone and via email. The communication was clear and reassuring from start to finish. I honestly couldn’t recommend them more — thank you both for making what could have been a stressful move feel so welcoming :)

9th Jan 2026 (10 weeks ago)Rang regards a flat, was scoffed at "holy Christ that's 3 times more than I earn". Sorry that I'm disabled and our money goes 3 ways not one. Told him I had one ccj continued the conversation. Asked why we were leaving the property. Early release due to being uninhabitable, with proof and a letter from my agent, suddenly, no no we can't deal with you. His tone was demeaning from the beginning, little did this "bloke" know, id call him a gentleman but he's not , I own my own business, yes Im poorly at present but not forever but we weren't good enough, even with a guarantor. One day life will get tough for you! I hope someone makes you feel so small and worthless.very discriminative.

Throughout the process Winkworth of Bourne helped us every step of the way, always on hand with advice and guidance. Communication was excellent and they made us feel valued as customers. Adam and Millie professionally pulled everything together and helped us move on to the next chapter in our lives.

18th Jul 2024 (1 year ago)Wanted details on the Southwell Prebend house after a while I received it requested further information and a guidance on price and a viewing no reply a very well known Southwell resident who I visit discussed it with me ,I wasn't saying I was going to buy it but it would have helped if I was at the very least been given further information . Any how I gave up!! As far as I'm aware unless an agreement has been made which hasn't it should be open for a viewing.
