22nd Jun 2026 (17 days ago)I have had 10 very positive years of working with Hamptons Wimbledon both as a buyer and seller as well as landlord. The initial purchase was very smooth and also the recent sale, albeit it took longer than hoped due to market conditions. On the rental side there was always good communication and follow-up - I found the team very professional, responsive and easy to communicate with. I fully recommend !
25th Jun 2026 (14 days ago)Have moved into a property managed by Hamptons a month ago. Since day 1 there has been very serious obvious issues with the washing machine (mould inside, not functioning), it is unbelievable how the property manager is not taking it seriously, not handling properly and responding to my emails super slow. The phone call never goes through. So it’s been a month, with the extreme heatwave in London, I’m still stuck with a mouldy and nonfunctional (it in fact destroys my clothes and garments) washer/dryer! I’m paying so much per month for the high rent in London and I end up washing all my clothes by hand or I have to walking 20 min to an external laundry shop and paying >20 pound per wash!!!
19th Jun 2026 (20 days ago)My friend and I rented a property with Quilliam, through a landlord, back in 2020. After a year of living here we began to notice black mould appearing around the property, including the bedrooms. We advised the landlord of this and his only suggestion was: "Keep a window open" we took his advice but this did nothing. We had to take matters into our own hands and tackle the problem with mould removal sprays all whilst begging the landlord for months to do something about the issue as it wasn't going away and it was effecting our health. He eventually came to the flat and seemingly treated the wall in one of the rooms but even so the smell of mould and mildew was prevalent. Now whilst living here the landlord advised that there was no window in the bathroom and this would cause moisture build up in the air which is a roundabout way of saying that mould issues can and will happen due to inadequate ventilation which is in violation of the human habitation act of 2018 which says that adequate ventilation must be provided in all rental properties which the bathroom didn't. It had a small extractor fan which did nothing to help with the moisture buildup which in turn caused the mould build up and the advice we were given, yet again, was to open the window (We were unsure what the obsession with opening windows was as this wasn't the first time this would be suggested us). Another area that didn't have adequate ventilation was the kitchen as there was also no window in this area. It had an extractor fan but this, again, didn't help to do much and was located right next to the bathroom.<br><br>We left the property, as soon as we were able, for obvious reasons. During the time of us preparing to leave there were viewings at the flat and we were advised, by Quilliam, to clean the flat thoroughly and make it presentable for potential renters which meant we had to help cover up the mould issue within the property.<br><br>On our final day of leaving we had someone from Quilliam come by the flat to start the final checks of the flat and whilst they were there we tried to tell her the issues we were facing and my friend even showed her how living here had worsened her skin condition but this was brushed aside and we were met with the same uncaring spiel of: "Well, if you opened a window..." as if this was some fix all solution for the amount of issues within the flat.<br><br>Living at that flat had taken a toll on our health, personal items and finances. Additionally we found out that the landlord hired someone to do a deep clean on the mould issue within the flat, which wasn't offered to us while we lived there. The CEO of Quilliam, Julia, was also made aware of this but just repeated the same tired quote of: "Open the windows".<br><br>Reading other reviews and I can see this isn't the first time someone has complained about a black mould issue but Quilliam is still running the same gag.

Dan was always excellent with communication, professionalism, and ability to help us at every step of the process. Buying an house can be stressful at times, but it was made much easier using an estate agents you can trust. Estate agents can often have a bad reputation, but Real Estates were superb from start to finish, and we would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone.
22nd Apr 2026 (11 weeks ago)I have worked with Alec Peduto and his team in Sales and Lettings for nearly 20 years. They have managed and sold properties for me including my own residential properties. I hold them in high regard and highly recommend them. I have used other local agents for both letting and sales over the years and frankly they do not compare favourably. Theydons are my strong recommendation for both sales and property management.
17th May 2024 (2 years ago)I purchased my first flat through KFH. They were very efficient and responsive during this process, and guided me well. However, apart from these, my experience was not at all positive. It became evident very quickly that they were working solely for the benefit of the seller. Little to none was done to take into account what would work for me, both mortgage-wise, and in terms of discussing exchange/completion dates - it was always a matter of doing what the seller wanted. There were also a few events of miscommunication/incorrect information which resulted into me losing some money. I do acknowledge that they were dealing with a particularly demanding seller, but in my opinion, what makes a good agent (or rather a good employee in general), is their ability to deal with difficult, non-trivial situations. I would not recommend KFH as a buyer.
9th May 2026 (9 weeks ago)I was looking for a realtor in London who was organised, efficient, proactive, understood the market, and would genuinely work around my needs. Shash came highly recommended by a friend, and I’ve been very happy with her service. She showed me a selection of her own listings with Douglas & Gordon?, as well as properties listed through other agents within her network. The flat we found was exactly what I had been looking for. I am now back on the market for a London pied-à-terre and look forward to working with Shash again, as she is exactly the kind of realtor I was hoping to find.
16th Jun 2026 (23 days ago)Horrendous unscrupulous company who hire contractors and then absolve themselves of any responsibility for their faulty workmanship. My flat has been out of use for two months since they flooded it. Engage this firm at your peril.

Completely terrible, dodges repairs, even phone calls, enable absentee landlords just to charge them such high fees repairs are never carried out. Knowingly renting out mould ridden and structurally unsound properties in Southwark.

His explanation of the service and the people at Thomas James Estate Agents was open, honest, and reassuring, which is what ultimately led us to choose them over other agents in the area. The sales process took four and a half months from engagement to completion, and throughout that time we were kept fully informed via a WhatsApp group set up specifically for our property. This made communication incredibly easy, allowing us to ask and answer questions quickly, and ensured the team remained proactive in driving the sale through to completion. We were extremely happy with the seamless process and the genuine care and attention shown by the team—Tom, James, Claire, and Elliot (with special mention to Elliot) at Thomas James Estate Agents.
