She communicated regularly, always explained where things stood and what needed to happen next, and was incredibly proactive, working with every solicitor in the chain to keep things moving.<br><br>There were several moments when it looked like everything might fall apart, but Melanie kept a cool head and made sure the chain didn’t collapse. Honestly, without her and the tremendous effort she put in, I don’t think we would have exchanged. If you’re buying or selling with Bridges, you’re in very safe hands with Melanie. Thank you!

We spoke to several other estate agents in Fleet, but McCarthy Holden really stood out.<br><br>Victoria was professional, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about Fleet and the surrounding area. She was always quick to respond and went above and beyond to make everything as smooth and straightforward as possible.<br><br>We received excellent advice when selling our house, as well as invaluable guidance when purchasing our next home. Victoria was also brilliant at keeping things moving and liaising with the other agents. Her care, dedication and personal service were second to none.<br><br>A huge thank you to Victoria for all her help and support. 16th Aug 2026 (10 weeks ago)We originally bought our house through Charters, who happened to be the selling agent, and were so impressed by how well we were looked after as buyers that, when it came to selling our home, we knew we wanted to go back to them.<br><br>Toby was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. He genuinely treated our house as if it were his own, taking the time to understand all the little details and personal touches that made it special to us. He kept us completely in the loop with feedback throughout and worked hard to make sure we found the right buyers for our much-loved home, not simply the quickest sale.<br><br>We really felt that Toby cared about getting the right result for us, and his personal approach made the whole process so much easier. We couldn’t recommend Toby and the Charters of Alton team highly enough.

Throughout the whole process of selling our property everyone has been extremely professional, friendly and helpful. A big thanks goes out to everyone, Justin, Thomas, Abby, Nick and I must reserve a special thank you to the amazing Lisa.<br><br>It has been a long and stressful process, not only were we relocating away from the area but we also lost our original buyer the day before exchange. The team where so proactive and we had a new buyer within 48 hours and ensured we did not loose the house we were purchasing.<br><br>From day one Lisa has worked tirelessly to ensure that the chain moved along as quickly and as smoothly as possible. Keeping us regularly updated, and offered amazing support and advice when at times things became quite stressful. My levels of anxiety would have been much higher if it had not been for Lisa!<br><br>Thank you, our new adventure begins and I'm so pleased we chose Homes in Alton to help us achieve it!

Even though they are based in Eastleigh, they did an outstanding job selling my property in Chandler's Ford—an area traditionally dominated by local Chandler's Ford agents.<br><br>Connells approached me and persuaded me to sell with them after I had a bad experience and took the flat off the market. I’m so glad they did! Thanks to Hobbie, who valued the flat at the right price, making it possible to move on to my next property.<br><br>The entire team was incredible throughout: Oli brought great charisma and efficiency to the sales side, working alongside Fin; they sold my flat within just a few days of it going on the market, and Chloe provided excellent support on the mortgage side—she is ever so efficient. Their attention to the client and level of care were truly exceptional. I couldn't be happier with the overall experience and highly recommend them!

14th Oct 2026 (13 days ago)We had an unusual private property to sell in what seemed to be a changeable market and really weren't sure how best to go about it. We were somewhat daunted by the whole challenge.<br><br>Jacob Felix from Belvoir willingly visited and sat down with us. He explained the current market, explained potential approaches, recommended what he felt to be the best approach and the sale price he felt was likely to be achieved.<br><br>His advice was outstandingly good and proved to be both accurate and advantageous.<br><br>The marketing materials produced were very professional and very impactful.<br><br>The viewings were organised by Alison Hines and were well arranged, well carried out and the hit rate was astonishing. The post visit updates were particularly good.<br><br>Jacob then went above and beyond supporting and advising us through the process from the point of offer, through exchange and completion.<br><br>There were various glitches and challenges not caused by us and Jacob was there to advise, clarify and resolve at every step.<br><br>I cannot recommend Jacob and his team too highly, they left nothing undone. We were selling a property, having had no success with a previous agent. From the outset everyone was professional, direct, easy to deal with and reliable in their approach. All questions were responded to quickly and the process felt calm at all stages, even when there were the inevitable sticky moments that will happen with this kind of process. Sound advice was always available. Thank you.
14th Oct 2026 (13 days ago)I have moved out of the property managed by charters, I was at my property for year. The moving in stage, the maintenance and the moving out was all pretty great. I have had a lot of bad experiences with letting agents in the past but bishops Waltham staff have been helpful and communicative. (Accounts team once said I hadn’t paid rent and I ended up paying it twice and it took me a month to get my money back which was a cash flow nightmare) but I count my blessings. Maintance issue were look at and dealt with promptly. I love where I have moved to but my new property manager/letting agent have already promised an issue would be fixed by move in two months in and ten emails later issue is still here - has really made me miss bishops Waltham charters ?

Luci works hard and is there whenever you need advice. She kept us updated at all stages of the sale and as others have said she is down to earth, honest and understands the market. She listens to what her buyers and sellers what and matches them up which is why she is so successful.
