5th Nov 2022 (3 years ago)My wife and I had the pleasure of engaging Sam Tomlinson as our selling agent for our property in Maidenhead, Berkshire, United Kingdom. Before we engaged Sam, we had sought out many other realtors in the area - even some of the big national brands. Unfortunately, the majority of them were unprofessional & tardy and there were some even to point of non responsiveness and or over commitments that simply were not attainable. From the time we first engaged Sam right until to the point when we closed the sale of the house, Sam exemplified expertise and professionalism to the core. The entire selling process went so smoothly despite Sam being in Maidenhead in the UK, and my wife and I were between California and Dubai. All our meetings were professional and highly productive albeit they being virtual. Sam was extremely courteous, highly responsive and very knowledgeable and advised us every step of the way. Despite Sam having to be away for a week, all matters pertaining to the sale was handled by another colleague without any disruption to the selling process. Sam’s professional advise on the indicative selling price, to his recommendations for re painting our house to fixing the electrical fixtures all led to a quick sale of our property at our expected selling price. We sold the house within less than a month of open viewings and closed the transaction within 2 months. The amazing this was this was all accomplished in an era where house prices were dropping and interest rates skyrocketing. Therefore it gives me great pleasure in recommending Sam Tomlinson and the good folks at Braxton for any real estate services in Maidenhead. Braxtons and Sam has my utmost confidence!

1st Oct 2026 (26 days ago)I would like to express my appreciation for the professionalism and helpful advice given to me by the rep from Romans Estate agents, George Steedman during his visit to evaluate our family home. First we sat in the lounge to discuss the house and the considerable services Romans had to offer & their wide network of connections especially with London. The portfolio showed some of the houses shot from unusual angles making them appear striking. During the subsequent tour his focus was on the house as a family home rather than its obvious capacity for extensions & the like.<br>I felt that Romans would deliver a personal touch, seeing every house as unique & that they would handle any transaction with care & consideration.

During the valuation process Tom & Dylan had by far the most positive approach compared to a number of other local estate agents and this was the main reason I opted to sell my apartment with them. Dylan maintained a good level of communication throughout both the sale and onward purchase and was always there on the other end of the phone when ever I had any questions to ask. Thanks all!

8th Aug 2026 (11 weeks ago)If I could give zero stars, I would.<br><br>Renting through Northwood has been one of the most stressful and frustrating experiences I've ever had. The biggest let-down by far was the maintenance department. Getting issues dealt with was an exhausting process, with poor communication, long delays, and very little urgency.<br><br>If you are a landlord paying extra for this maintenance service. If I were I would be concerned firstly how your tenants are being treated but secondly how your house is also being looked after. The way maintenance issues were handled throughout our tenancy reflected very poorly on the service being provided.<br><br>The end of the tenancy was just as disappointing. The checkout inspection was conveniently booked for the day after we had returned the keys, meaning we had no opportunity to attend or raise any concerns during the inspection.<br><br>Getting our deposit back then became a constant battle. Instead of a fair and straightforward process, my emails were ignored until I raised this with the TDS.<br><br>Throughout the tenancy, communication was poor, problems dragged on, and there was very little accountability from there side.<br><br>I genuinely can't recommend Northwood based on my experience. There are far better letting agents out there. Based on my experience I would never rent with Northwood again.
12th May 2026 (24 weeks ago)Chloe was very friendly and personable. Very quick in answering questions and keeping informed of viewing comments. First two months (January/February) were very slow on viewings, but March and April were much more productive. Happy with final result.

Shana brought us several well-qualified offers quickly, answered our questions promptly, and coordinated the painting, cleaning and inventory so everything was ready for the move-in date. Carla gave clear, patient answers on the terms and the paperwork, and was always quick to help. Highly recommend Shana, Carla and the Maidenhead team.

The team were great throughout, always keeping me updated, communicating clearly and being helpful and respectful at every stage. The process felt well managed from start to finish, and I always felt I was in good hands.<br><br>A special mention to Trinity and Ella, who were both brilliant throughout.<br><br>Would definitely recommend Coopers Maidenhead.

Elle King was our main contact, and she was so helpful, professional and friendly.<br>I was so impressed that the whole sales team visited the house at the start to meet me and discuss its features.<br>The weekly update phone calls were much appreciated, even those weeks when there was nothing much to say.<br>They were proactive and helpful from start to finish.
