8th Feb 2026 (5 weeks ago)If I could give this agency a zero stars, I would. I have rented a property through them for four years and they don't do repairs, they gaslight you into thinking you're the problem, they've left me living in a mouldy hovel, myself and my partner have sunk over £3000 on the garden and tried to keep the property as liveable as possible. Mckale used to use RS Services as their repair contractor and they were awful cowboys that left trunking wonky and exposed hot water pipes, an electric fire that was chocolate blocked with no cut off; the two repairs they have done (after me badgering them through emails to the landlord) seem to have constituted two rent increases after each repair - firstly the electrics being updated and the second being the fallen bath (the timber beneath was rotted and basically sponge) this repair they told me they would just re-seat the bath (it was cracked and the plug was as much use as a chocolate teapot) and re-grout tiles, which were falling off due to water getting into the wall behind and causing damp. Lastly, the mould... this is being caused by the roof lining/roof in general being in need of repair and water getting into the front wall of the home causing mould, the front door is shot as is the windowsill in the lounge (a horrid draft comes from beneath this), and Mckale have come out and taken photos in order to "get this sorted" but recently they have told me there is "no mould issue and it is a ventilation problem" - we have the windows open regularly, use a condenser dryer and fans on when cooking/showering, so the above quote is gaslighting. Now, they wish to increase the rent citing "similar properties having higher rent amounts in the area", the only properties in the area that are similar, are on the same street and I know all of my neighbours, they don't pay anywhere near what I am paying, and they've had brand new kitchens (mine is still the one that was installed in 1995 when the property was built), new electrics and other upgrades (some have solar panels now!) (Also, check their accounts on Companies House... something fishy this way comes...) DO NOT RENT THROUGH THESE SWINDLERS!
12th Oct 2024 (1 year ago)They don’t do repairs on houses took 3 months last year to repair a hole in the roof and now they are avoiding more repairs damp in the house and they do nothing!

Gail McLean has always been our contact there, and she is wonderful; approachable, knowledgeable and professional. Gail and the Sanderson Young team have ensured that our property has been let quickly and to high quality tenants every time. Highly recommend (thanks Gail!)

Chris always replied to me and took action right away to support me during all the process, and during the time i rented the property if i requested any assistance or repairs. Very honest person. My full deposit has been refunded as well. I really appreciate his proffesional service.
23rd Sep 2025 (25 weeks ago)I’ve been with DH1 Lettings and Sales for over 7 years, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better service. They managed and looked after my house while it was rented out, and more recently they successfully (and very quickly!) sold it for me – all while I was living abroad in Dubai. They’re a genuine family business who really care, not only about their landlords but also about the tenants. Communication has always been excellent, and I’ve always felt my property was in safe hands. I can’t recommend DH1 Lettings and Sales highly enough – professional, trustworthy, and truly personal service from start to finish.

3rd Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)Very unprofessional after you give them business. They managed our property in Northampton for 4 years. No inspection reports ever provided. Told us the tenant has left and there was no rent for us. Seem like they do not know the legal implications of such action. The personnel who managed our property was very arrogant and has no idea of customer service. Had to prompt them for rent to be disbursed on most of the times.

In the beginning they ensured a smooth transition into the property and were massively helpful in preparing it and ensuring we were happy. If there was ever a problem it was very easy to contact a member of the team and they always responded in a timely, respectful and judicious manner. I had no problems at all with Everbest and recommend them to anyone.

20th Feb 2026 (26 days ago)I wish I had instructed Paul to sell my property initially because it had languished with 2 well known agents for Months without any sensible sale plan/updates. Paul offered straight talking, no nonsense advice. We had an offer within days of the viewings. Go with an agent who is as committed as you are to sell and will add valuable insight to the process. You won't be disappointed with Paul.

Adam was brilliant, highly professional, proactive, and extremely competent throughout. He has a clear understanding of more complex strategies that many agents either don’t understand or avoid, such as Rent-to-Rent, Company Let Agreements, and HMOs ect More importantly, Adam went well beyond standard working and office hours, negotiating back and forth late into the night between multiple parties to ensure the deal got over the line. We work with a lot of people in property, and it’s individuals like Adam who actually make things happen. He’s a real asset to the company — this deal simply wouldn’t have completed without him.
