3rd May 2024 (1 year ago)Really good local knowledge which is key and communication was excellent with the use of my propertyfile. All agents were well informed and always helpful. The selling fee amounts to a lot but you get what you pay for so it was worth it to get me a buyer quite quickly at an acceptable price.
18th Feb 2026 (29 days ago)turned out to be a difficult sale due to the buyers solicitor being incompetent and unhelpful, the guys at your move were very helpful keeping up the pressure on the buyers to get the sale done and to resolve the problems that the buyers solicitors created, they were all ways there to talk to me and and keep things moving, i know that Dan the manager in the branch put a lot more effort into the sale than would normally be expected, So big thanks to Dan and his team. The only thing i would have some reservations about was their recommendation to use Homefast/PPL as my solicitors, they are cheap and work on a no sale no fee basis which is good and they are probably ok if your sale go's smoothly but i felt a bit left in the dark as they did not really keep me informed when problems and delays came up and it was not all ways easy to get in touch with them, there is very little direct contact with the solicitor appointed to your sale and the vast majority of thing are done through an online portal and not being a very competent computer user i did at times find it difficult. We got there in the end and Yourmove stuck with me and gave support all the way through so i would be happy to recommend them.

From start to finish, the process was handled in a highly professional, efficient, and proactive manner. A special mention to David Hughes - Branch Director, who personally saw the sale through and kept everything moving smoothly. Communication was excellent throughout, with clear updates at every stage, which made the whole process feel simple, transparent, and completely stress-free. The team were quick to act, knowledgeable, and always available to answer questions, making what can be a daunting experience feel straightforward and easy to follow. I would highly recommend Alan De Maid to anyone looking to sell their house and wanting a reliable, professional service with outstanding support from start to completion.

He gave very good, honest advice around the selling price. His team are responsive and friendly. They are all very professional and give clear regular updates and advice. I have just sold the property and could not be more pleased. I would recommend unreservedly to other sellers.
5th Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)Very irritating experience. As shown in my screenshot, I have received several calls from you, and every single time I have clearly told you YOU HAVE THE WRONG NUMBER. I am not selling a property — I was only a tenant. Each time, you apologise, promise my number will be removed, and then claim “the system takes time to update.” Really? 3 -8 months? That excuse is wearing thin. Your last call was on Monday, where I was again reassured that my number would finally be taken off your system. To stop the disturbance during my workday, I even blocked your number — yet unbelievably, you still managed to leave me a voicemail today - your contact even seems to be increasing! At this point, your persistence feels relentless, intrusive, and completely unacceptable. For the sake of my sanity: Remove, delete, and block my number from your system immediately. This whole situation could have been avoided if you had simply done what you said you would do the first time. Instead, I’m left dealing with behaviour that comes across as either spiteful or incompetent. P.S I am for some reason unable to attach the screenshot of the call log of harassment!

I initially booked the valuation with Debbie and she was quick to put me at ease, she was professional, clear and honest. The whole team were so friendly. Both her and Joe worked amazingly together to ensure a suitable strategy was chosen with regard to marketing and pricing. Feedback was swift, positive and constructive, Clara and Ava never failed to update me and were always happy to chat through my silly questions. Due to several prospective tenants Debbie gave me impartial advice which enabled me to pick a fabulous tenant. 27th May 2025 (9 mo. ago)I'd needed to make a claim (upheld by the Property Ombudsman) against another local estate agent, who had dragged out and delayed this 2019-20 (probate) sale, in order to favour their buyer. After the above delay and attendant loss of several potential buyers was stopped in its tracks, with Miles & Barr being appointed to clear up the mess, they delivered a sale (and with yet more delays around the rent-a-roof solar panels installed by our parents - but they got there in the end), albeit at a lower price than we'd initially hoped for.

Out of all the estate agents we have dealt with, we have found Ellie to be the best! Very professional, extremely helpful (often coming back to us with an answer to a query before the viewing was even over) and so personable. Ellie showed empathy and kindness throughout each viewing. We are keeping our fingers crossed that the house we end up choosing is one of Ellie's!
- 6th Mar 2026 (13 days ago)We are extremely pleased with our experience of Wards. Linzi Murphey was very good with understanding my specific needs and was extremely helpful. She was patient and very helpful. She also understood that I would need the home adapted so that I can access all of the house, and she made suggestions as to where the adaptions could be made. I felt she was very open and honest. Not only did she help us source the ideal house, but she was also present at the viewings and helped with negotiations after. Overall an excellent experience and we will recommend Wards and Linzi in the future.

23rd Feb 2026 (24 days ago)Very disappointing experience with this agency. Communication from their representative, Josh, was unnecessarily argumentative and lacked professionalism. Reasonable requests regarding suitable viewing times were inaccurately presented as a refusal. As a tenant, I remained cooperative, yet the tone and approach taken made the process stressful and uncomfortable. Professionalism and respectful communication should be standard practice in any property agency. However, he was lack of them. In this case, Josh clearly fell short of these standards. In contrast, my communication with Jena was professional, polite, and respectful. She arranged viewings appropriately and approached matters in a courteous manner, which made cooperation much easier. Professional and respectful communication makes a significant difference, and I hope this agency ensures consistency across its team. Update in response to the agency’s reply: I stand by my review, as it reflects my genuine experience. I have retained screenshots of the communication between Joshua and myself, including responses that I found dismissive and unprofessional, such as the use of a laughing emoji when I mentioned raising a complaint. This understandably gave the impression that my concerns were not being taken seriously. For clarity, two viewings were successfully conducted at the property with my agreement. This clearly demonstrates that I was cooperative and did not refuse access. As a working tenant, I simply requested reasonable availability within my schedule, which is entirely within my legal rights. Leaving a review on Google is also my right as a consumer when I feel my experience does not reflect the standards described in your response. Should the matter require independent review, I am comfortable referring it to The Property Ombudsman so that an impartial assessment can determine whether the communication met appropriate professional standards. I remain willing to cooperate within reasonable and respectful boundaries. However, I do not wish to continue communication with Joshua and request that future arrangements are handled by another respectful representative.

She kept me updated constantly, nothing was too much trouble. From our first meeting before I put the house up for sale she advised me on what to do and what not.
