5th Jun 2026 (30 days ago)????? We recently completed the purchase of our new home through Frank Innes Mapperley, and I would like to thank Ethan for all his help throughout the process. From start to finish, Ethan was professional, responsive, and always willing to go the extra mile. He kept us informed throughout the transaction and was proactive in helping move matters forward, especially during the final stages leading up to exchange and completion. As with any property transaction, there were a few stressful moments along the way, but Ethan was always on hand to provide updates and reassurance. He was constantly chasing the sellers, solicitors, and other parties involved in the chain to keep things progressing and ensure we were kept informed. One thing that particularly stood out was Ethan’s communication. He responded to all of my emails, queries, and questions very promptly and was always happy to help. No matter how busy things were, he made sure we received updates and clear answers whenever we needed them. I’m fairly certain Ethan saw my name appear in his inbox more often than he would have liked over the last few months! Despite that, he always responded quickly, professionally, and with great patience. His willingness to answer every question, no matter how small, and chase every update was genuinely appreciated. His communication, dedication, and support helped make what can often be a stressful process much smoother and far less daunting. Thank you again, Ethan, for all your hard work and support. 5th Apr 2026 (13 weeks ago)Disorganised viewing and poor customer experience We visited a property through Tanners Properties Nottingham, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing from start to finish. The agent arrived late, and multiple groups were allowed to view the property at the same time. It felt more like an auction than a proper viewing, with no structure or consideration for individual applicants. The agent made little effort to engage—there was no proper introduction, no guidance during the viewing, and he simply stood aside while people walked around. At the end, he briefly mentioned the application process, which involves completing forms that go very deep into personal details. I understand background checks are necessary, but the level of information requested felt excessive and intrusive. It’s also surprising that a company operating this way doesn’t manage proper appointment slots or a more professional system. Background checks could easily be handled through established services like Experian or ClearScore, rather than putting all the burden on applicants. It gave the impression they are trying to cut costs at the expense of customer experience. Although the property itself was good, the service was poor enough that we decided not to proceed. Based on this experience, I would not recommend them.
14th May 2023 (3 years ago)Lesley Hreaves Estate agents in Gedling Village were excellent. Friendly, Efficientand always happy to discuss progress. There were always viewers to look at the house every week but to begin with these maybe not the right people as they hadn’t done their homework with regards to layout. We reduced the price which immediately found the exact buyer for the house, who really want it and appreciate what it offers. Great result in 6 weeks. Would recommend Lesley Greaves to sell your house. Thankyou LG.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

23rd Jun 2026 (12 days ago)??????????<br><br>I recently sold my home and couldn’t be happier with the service I received from the team at Royston and Lund, Westbridgford.<br>A huge thank you to David, the valuer, whose expertise and advice helped get everything off to a great start.<br>The two Nicks did a fantastic job showing people around the property—they were always professional, friendly, and great with potential buyers.<br>A special mention has to go to Alex—her negotiation skills were absolutely outstanding and played a huge part in achieving such a great result. Her expertise, confidence, and approach really set her apart.<br>Ana and Gabrielle and libby deserves a special mention too for there patience and responsiveness—they were always on hand to answer my calls and kept me updated every step of the way, which made the whole process much less stressful.<br>Finally, Lucy has been brilliant in progressing the final stages of the sale, ensuring everything continues to move smoothly towards completion.<br><br>Overall, a fantastic team effort—professional, supportive, and highly effective. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a property!<br><br>??????????

28th Jun 2026 (7 days ago)Extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience for viewing “3 Lupin Close, Edwalton, Nottingham, NG12 4HU” on Saturday June 27th 2026<br><br>I had a viewing appointment booked for 2:45 pm, so I left home on time. Due to unexpected traffic, I realised I might be 5–10 minutes late. At around 2:40 pm, I called the Holden Copley office to inform them that I would arrive between 2:50 pm and 2:55 pm. I was assured that this was absolutely fine, that the team would be informed, and I was advised to continue to the property.<br><br>I arrived at 2:55 pm, rang the doorbell, and waited outside for around five minutes, assuming someone might still be inside. When nobody answered, I called the office again, only to be told that the sales executive had already left after waiting just two minutes, until approximately 2:47 pm, because his diary was “very busy.”<br><br>What makes this even more frustrating is the complete double standard. Only last week, when viewing another one of their property (14 Autumn Close, West Bridgford, Nottingham, NG2 7YL, on Monday 22nd June), their own sales executive arrived 15 minutes late. On that occasion, I patiently waited outside in the hot afternoon sun with my 5 and 8-year-old children, and I even had to cancel an important office meeting because of their delay. I accepted it without complaint because I understood that delays can happen.<br><br>However, yesterday when I informed them in advance that I would be delayed by no more than 10 minutes, they couldn’t extend the same basic courtesy. Instead, the appointment was effectively cancelled after waiting just two minutes, despite the office knowing exactly when I would arrive.<br><br>To make matters worse, when I requested that the sales executive return to the property, I was spoken to in a dismissive and rude manner. I was repeatedly told that his diary was “very busy” and that he would not be coming back. There was no apology, no attempt to resolve the situation, and no appreciation for the time I had spent travelling.<br><br>This is not how customers should be treated. If you expect clients to accommodate your delays, you should be willing to show the same flexibility when customers communicate honestly and courteously in advance. The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and complete disregard for customer time have left me extremely disappointed. Based on this experience, I would seriously question whether Holden Copley genuinely values its customers.

My interests were entirely secondary as demonstrated by their actions. I received assurances they weren’t prepared to uphold, was made promises they weren’t prepared to keep and set expectations they weren’t prepared to follow through. Avoid this estate agent and use one of the many others available.
