Very honest and they really support you throughout the process. Big shout out to Anthoney Mumford who was the ultimate professional. 10th Nov 2025 (11 mo. ago)Avoid Hills Estate Agency at All Costs!! I have spent the past year being over-promised and massively under-delivered by Hills. The experience has been nothing short of a disaster. There has been a complete failure in communication from start to finish. I was repeatedly given “estimated completion dates” that never materialised, followed by weeks even over a month of no contact whatsoever. Because of their poor advice, I am now over £2,000 out of pocket. The unprofessionalism is staggering. Staff openly discussed the seller’s personal finances, telling me the seller “had no money” and describing them as “an absolute nightmare customer.” Imagine paying Hills thousands of pounds to sell your property, only for them to bad-mouth you to the buyer. Completely unacceptable. Given this behaviour, it’s no surprise there are so many negative reviews online. I submitted a formal complaint and received a response from Charlotte today no empathy, no apology. If this is how a director behaves, it’s clear why the rest of the staff follow suit. If you value your time, your money and your sanity, avoid Hills like the plague!! Useless!!

They both played an important role in helping us through the process, answering our questions, providing guidance, and making sure everything moved in the right direction.<br><br>Although we experienced some delays, mainly due to matters on the seller's side, Ben, Nick, and the rest of the team handled everything professionally and did their best to keep the process moving towards a successful completion.<br><br>Buying a home is a major milestone and can sometimes be stressful, but having such a reliable and dedicated team made a real difference. 1st Oct 2026 (26 days ago)Landlords avoid this company. They are shambolic, a lack of transparent process and the left hand unable or unwilling to tell the right hand what’s happening. The type of company in our experience that give private landlords a bad name and make our job tougher than it already is in the current climate. Most certainly do not consider the deposit scheme with them.

It was a stressful journey which took some time (not the fault of J H Homes) but at every stage J H Homes were working their socks off on our behalf. Would wholeheartedly recommend J H Homes to anyone thinging of selling in the Furness area.

He carried out thorough research and took the time to properly assess the property. What really made a difference was how clearly he explained the valuation and the reasoning behind it, something no other agent did. It gave me real confidence that we were in the right hands.<br><br>Throughout the process, the team were fantastic. They kept me fully updated and handled all the viewings, which took a huge weight off my shoulders during a sensitive time.<br><br>A special thank you to Chelsea, who was incredible. She supported me every step of the way, especially when I had a few wobbles. She was always patient, reassuring, and happy to answer all my questions (even the daft ones!).
