He has taken the time to explain the entire process clearly and thoroughly, which has really put me at ease. Jamie genuinely listens to my needs and has gone above and beyond to support me at this stage of the purchase. He’s been an absolute pleasure to deal with! Knowing I have Jamie’s support has made what initially felt like an overwhelming process much easier, and I couldn’t recommend Jamie and Venmore highly enough.<br><br>I'd also like to give a special mention to Jordan in the post-sales team. Once my offer was accepted, the process took over six months and became incredibly stressful. Throughout it all, Jordan was always there to support me, answer my questions, and provide reassurance whenever I needed it. Jordan single handedly kept me sane! His kindness, patience, and genuine care made such a difference during a very difficult time. He is an absolute credit to Venmores, and I'll always be grateful for everything he did to help me through the process.

She was very informative, and told us everything we need to know about the property. Katie also made the viewing very personal, despite having multiple viewings back to back. She answered any questions we had, and was just a lovely person overall!

14th Aug 2026 (10 days ago)Sold our house through northwood and it wasnt great. Viewings arranged and no confirmation to us. Cancelations of viewing without notice. Buyer even turned up with our estate agent while i was in bed following a nightshift as we had no notification of this. Staff can come across as very rude. Would not recommend at all.

All round the sale was smooth and straightforward and this agency was great to work with. Lovely staff, great comms and seem like they really care.

29th Jul 2026 (26 days ago)We chose Keenans Rawtenstall to sell our house primarily because of their competitive fees. Looking back, I wish I had done more research beforehand.<br><br>When signing the contract, I dod nit sign it, it was automatic and entered an incorrect name, I contacted and was told "don't worry, it's fine". I also asked for a copy of tbe contract that was readable but this was never provided. Therefore, I habe never seen their terms of service.<br><br>On the day our property went live, I visited the office for the first time to drop off a key and was quite surprised. There was very little to indicate that it was an estate agency. There were no property displays in the windows, just a very minimalist office with mirrors, lighting, ornaments and interior design books. It felt more like an interior design showroom than a business focused on selling houses.<br><br>The same impression carried over to their social media presence. There seemed to be more content featuring selfies of their young staff in mirrors than actual property marketing. As a seller, I expected a stronger focus on promoting homes.<br><br>When I dropped off the key, just three hours after the property went live, I was told they had already received six enquiries. Our property was also labelled as a "Hot Property" on both their website and Zoopla, with indications of high interest and hundreds of views. Given this, I found it difficult to understand why we received only three viewings in the first three weeks.<br><br>In fact, one of those viewings came about because a note was posted through our door by someone who had been trying unsuccessfully to contact Keenans to arrange a viewing. We organised that viewing ourselves. Perhaps that offers some insight into the issue.<br><br>During this time, we viewed numerous properties through other estate agents. Many were more expensive than ours and, in our opinion, not as appealing, yet they often had back-to-back or block viewings arranged. By contrast, whenever we tried to arrange viewings through Keenans for properties we were interested in, we frequently had to chase by phone and email before receiving a response.<br><br>After three weeks, we raised our concerns and asked for our property to be promoted on their social media channels. Following this, we received two additional viewings. However, after five weeks on the market and only five viewings in total, we felt we had made the wrong choice and decided to take our property off the market.<br><br>Two days after sending our notice by email, we had received no response, so I had to follow up myself. I also mentioned again that the terms and conditions supplied to us were extremely difficult to read because the text was so small and became blurred when zoomed in. Harry agreed that this was an issue and said he was unsure about the notice requirements as a result, promising to call me straight back. Unfortunately, he never did.<br><br>The following day I called again and was told that I would remain tied into the contract for the remainder of the 12-week term plus a further 28 days' notice. I said OK because I just wanted the property to be removed from the market. I was then told that this could not be done and that the property had to remain online.<br><br>When I explained that I no longer wished to sell the property and wanted it removed, I was told it could instead be suspended and reactivated later to complete the remainder of the contract period. I explained that if we decided to sell again in the future, we would not be using Keenans.<br><br>After speaking with his manager, Harry returned and confirmed that I was in fact correct: the property could indeed be removed from the market immediately. The only restriction was that I could not instruct another estate agent until the contractual period had expired.<br><br>Unfortunately, after this experience, we have no intention of selling for a while. Will never use Keenans again.<br><br>Update: I finally got a confirmation email that I have taken my property off the market on 29th July!! Only took 2 months!<br><br>The response from Keenans is absolute rubbish!

11th Feb 2026 (6 mo. ago)Excellent service up to now. Higher valuation than other agents and sold within a few weeks above asking price. Really friendly, knowledgeable staff, especially Nicole, who kept in touch very regularly. Hope they continue with their excellent service through to completion.

Communication was great throughout, they made what I thought was going to be a complicated process extremely easy. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking to buy, sell or rent a property. SUPERB!

13th Aug 2026 (11 days ago)Superb in every regard. Professional from start to finish.<br>No sales patter, just the business-like service you would hope to receive when selling your house. Ben is excellent at assessing the house and bringing the transaction together.<br>Liz is an excellent progressor who does exactly what the job title suggests - and very efficiently.<br>The photographs on Rightmove were of the highest standard.<br>To top it all off Hewitt Adams gave this service for a price much lower than some of the competitors. We couldn't be happier and I'd happily recommend them to everybody.<br>Must add that I am a Mortgaged Broker and have been for decades. I've seen what good and bad service looks like in our business. Ben and his team offer the highest quality service you could wish for.
12th Aug 2026 (12 days ago)House was a state upon moving in. We had mice rats and spiders galore as well as various code violations including a tilted oven and a gas stove blocking the fire door . When it came to moving out I was charged £50 for a mark that was supposedly on my bedroom wall, however the picture they used as evidence was as a different room. Save yourself some money and stress and don’t move in to a property managed by these money hungry, scammers. Also take note of how all the good reviews here are for viewings and not for how well they manage the properties.

22nd Aug 2026 (2 days ago)We travelled from Luton to view a property that was booked. On arrival we waited 10 minutes and no agent came. When we called they apologised and said someone should of called us but the house was no longer available. As you can imagine the cost wasted was annoying and the fact we have no evidence of a phone call is dishonest. We will be putting in a formal complaint as this is unacceptable
