24th Apr 2026 (15 days ago)I found a property to purchase being marketed by Chattertons Estate Agents. My initial viewing was hosted by Jen who was extremely welcoming, informative and helpful. After that, subsequent viewings were conducted by the fantastic branch manager, Doug Paterson. This sale/purchase was complicated by the fact that the elderly owner had gone into care and the sale being managed by her disabled son who was a long distance away. Doug had to act as liaison and there was absolutely nothing that was too much trouble for him, from recommending an excellent firm of solicitors who, with Doug’s input, were able to expedite the process to completion in 5 week, fantastic! There is no way I could praise the team at Chattertons, particularly Doug, any higher and have no hesitation in giving them the highest recommendation.

14th Apr 2026 (25 days ago)10/10 would recommend! Wendy, Tina, Ashley and the team at Maguire Baylis have been incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the process of buying my first home! I can not recommend Macquire Baylis enough, and they have made the process as smooth as it can be. I endeavoured a lot of challenges with solicitors but the team at Maguire Baylis went above and beyond, explaining things my solicitor failed to explain, and helping progress the purchase from start to end, persevering despite the challenges and getting us to complete. I can not thank them enough!

Every question, viewing and phone call was sorted quickly, which gave us confidence throughout the whole process. The house buying process was smooth and we believe she was a huge part of that. Through the process of viewing properties I've met a good few estate agents and I have to say David at Truepenny's came across as the most honest and straightforward. No estate agent script or nonsense, no opening of cupboard doors and saying "look you've got a cupboard" (I've seriously had that before) and most importantly, no BS. I also thought the staff at Truepenny's went the extra mile, having seen the property online over the weekend I called the office on a Monday morning and they did a viewing the same day. And finally I was flying by a wing and a prayer at times to get everything across the line and I appreciated David's patience in all of that. I can highly recommend Truepenny's and would certainly use them if I was to sell or rent out my home in the future.

We were dealing with a girl named Fiona and it’s like she’s gone out of her to not help since we turned down a property we didn’t even apply for in an area we have no intention of living. After calling they don’t check emails, but can write on Facebook wishing members of staff a happy birthday ??????
