She was always very informative with new properties that she thought might be right for us and every viewing we attended to Katie was always there waiting to greet us and ready to showcase the property to it’s full potential. Once we found are property Katie was amazing in helping us with every step of the way. She made the whole process very easy with constant support and communication between us chancellors head office and our new landlord. We truly appreciate everything Katie done for us and can only describe her as totally amazing and wonderful in her role as a chancellors letting agent . I do hope all your agents across the country are as wonderful as Katie. Dominic was really great with us as we didn't know the area very well at all. Suzie very helpful when finalising the rental agreement. I would recommend Davis Tate.
7th May 2026 (15 weeks ago)I had the most positive experience dealing with Allan and Harris estate agents. Your marketing, viewing and general advice was much appreciated. Always professional, approachable and provided a first class service. It made the house sale process very easy and stress free. A big THANK YOU for all your help and support - Nick you were amazing always there to answer my questions and give independent advice when it was needed. I felt your attention to detail was fantastic. Conner and Rhianna were always friendly at the end of the phone when I needed to ask questions along the way. I only met Conner in person when I handed the keys in prior to the exchange. But was taken aback when he remembered a small detail about the house - that showed he cared and had a good attention for detail. It was a long process from our first meeting and completion; due to a delay in Probate being granted - but I can honestly say I felt you guys were always there to support me and keep me up to date with relevant developments. 18th Aug 2026 (5 days ago)Mixed bag service.<br>We mainly dealt with Damien, which overall was a positive experience, very professional. However our process went on for just under a year, which takes it's toll on everyone in it.<br><br>However reason for the 2 star reduction is for the handling of a situation on moving day by other staff. It was extremely poor and added additional stress to everyone involved.

Taking messages and responding quickly even after hours and in her own private time. She has let a number of our properties out and we would highly recommend her to other landlords.
12th Aug 2026 (11 days ago)What can I say… I am one of those women who wants everything done NOW ?????? and somehow they actually managed to keep up with me!<br>From putting my house on the market to completion, the whole thing took around 3 months. I was probably not the easiest customer because I was constantly emailing, asking questions and wanting everything to move faster ?????? but they were always there, always replying and always keeping me updated.<br>Josh definitely knows what he’s doing and somehow survived all my emails ??????<br>I’m honestly so happy with the whole service. Great communication, great people and everything went smoothly.<br>I would 100% use them again and I will definitely recommend them to my friends.<br>Thank you for putting up with me ?????? 5 stars from me! ??????????

14th Aug 2026 (9 days ago)My review: Google Review<br><br>1 star — extremely disappointing experience<br><br>Unfortunately, our experience with Cridland’s Estate Agents has been extremely disappointing. What should have been a straightforward property transaction has turned into a frustrating and unnecessarily difficult process of cat and mouse games.<br><br>We’ve tried to approach things reasonably and have based our position on the findings of a professional survey, yet rather than feeling that our concerns were being properly understood, we were left feeling that the priority was simply to keep the sale price up.<br><br>An estate agent should act as a professional intermediary — communicating clearly, managing expectations and helping both parties reach a sensible agreement. Instead, we’ve found the communication and handling of the situation particularly frustrating.<br><br>It’s disappointing when buyers are treated as though raising legitimate concerns about a property is somehow unreasonable. We’re spending a substantial amount of money and have every right to make an informed decision based on the actual condition of the house.<br><br>Sadly, based on our experience, I would not recommend Cridland’s if you’re looking for an estate agent who genuinely puts professionalism, transparency and good communication first.

13th Jul 2026 (6 weeks ago)My partner and I had decided to put our house on the market, potentially moving to a bigger house. Doing our due diligence, we made a decision to get four different Real Estate Agencies to visit, so we could also gauge the professionalism and expertise of various agents.<br><br>Somebody had suggested that we should also give Jessica, the owner of this company, to evaluate our home too. Three different real estate agencies sent their reps to evaluate our home, give us their terms, and provide us with written documents of what they were able to do for us. We gave Jessica the same opportunity. When Jessica arrived, we noticed that even prior to looking at our house, she had written down a figure representing the value of our home! My partner and I were surprised that how could she evaluate our home even prior to looking at it! Anyway, Jessica was very friendly and presentable, talked to us about her services and what she was willing to do for us. This is exactly the same as other agents had done, except, the other agents provided us with a figure value after examining the house, and seeing all the improvements that we had made to our home.<br><br>As we had done with the other agents, we asked Jessica to email us with all the information that she had verbally presented. Jessica agreed to do so. However, Jessica was the only real estate agent, amongst the four, that never followed up with any information upon her departure!<br><br>We were quite disappointed with the fact that, how could someone, who considered themselves as an experienced agent, simply evaluate a house based on what other houses in the area had sold! We believe that Jessica came up with that conclusion solely based on the square footage of the house, regardless of all the improvements and modernization that had been made to the house!! Similarly, not providing us with a follow up, as she had promised, was a major disappointment.<br><br>I am glad that we decided not to employ Amilies state agents. Apart from Jessica‘s polite mannerism, I could not recommend this agency.
17th Jul 2026 (5 weeks ago)I had a very disappointing experience. Even though I informed them in advance that we would be delayed due to traffic, they assured us that it was fine. However, the person conducting the viewing left without waiting for us. When I called to explain, he even said he had seen the two of us rushing towards the property, yet he still chose not to wait. Overall, it was a very frustrating and unprofessional experience.
10th Jul 2026 (6 weeks ago)Nicky and her team at Summertown have worked tirelessly and enthusiastically over the past year to get our 4th prospective buyer over the line. It has been a challenging task but the team never let go of the job and eventually it paid off. Also Nicky arranged a private sale of a cottage in the Village that will suit our needs very well. Our thanks to Nicky and her team for a job well done.

- 13th Aug 2026 (10 days ago)We have been with Chancellors since 2022 and the service has been consistently unacceptable. Despite paying for full management, our tenants repeatedly contacted us directly because Chancellors simply did not respond to them. We were effectively managing the property ourselves while still paying Chancellors for a service they were not providing.<br>In 2024, our tenants moved out while we were abroad due to a family bereavement. Our neighbour alerted us that the bins were overflowing and, shockingly, the property doors had been left open. We tried contacting Chancellors urgently, only to be told it was the checkout agency’s fault — an agency they themselves appointed.<br>When new tenants moved in (while we were still away), we asked Chancellors to downgrade our service to basic rent collection only. Once we returned, the new tenants showed us the condition the previous tenants had left behind:<br>Lawn stripped and replaced with artificial grass without our consent<br>Nails on walls inside the house<br>Missing blinds and curtains<br>Bins left overflowing, which the new tenants had to clean themselves<br>When we raised this with Chancellors, we were told they “don’t manage the property anymore” — despite the fact that the previous tenancy WAS managed. After weeks of being passed from department to department, we were told the Deposit Replacement Scheme wouldn’t pay anything because more than 30 days had passed. The delay was entirely caused by Chancellors’ internal confusion and lack of ownership. Only one helpful staff member, Kwesi, escalated the issue and we received around £100 — nowhere near the actual cost of the damage.<br>During the 2025 renewal, we clearly stated we did NOT want DRS and were not charged. Now, during the 2026 renewal, Chancellors have suddenly deducted DRS for 2025 and are demanding “proof” of the agreement — even though their own staff confirmed it at the time.<br>Trying to reach the property manager has become impossible. No calls returned for over a week, emails ignored despite CC’ing multiple staff. Today, a staff member told us the property manager “doesn’t want to speak to us because we shouted at her.” This is completely false — she has never once returned our calls, so shouting at her would be impossible.<br>Her email now claims she has “no record” of the DRS agreement and insists we provide proof, while refusing to address the late rent queries or the ongoing service failures.<br>The service is chaotic, unprofessional, and deeply frustrating. Departments contradict each other, no one takes responsibility, and we are left to deal with the consequences every single time. After years of mismanagement, negligence, and financial errors, we simply want to terminate our contract and move our property elsewhere.

As long-term tenants, what has stood out most is their professionalism, reliability, and genuine care for both the property and the people living in it. A special mention has to go to Ellen Horsley, who has been an exceptional point of contact throughout our tenancy. Ellen is always approachable, responsive, and incredibly efficient. Whether it’s been routine queries, maintenance requests, or general support, she has handled everything promptly and with a friendly, reassuring attitude. It’s clear she takes pride in her work and truly values building good relationships with tenants. The agency as a whole has been organized and transparent, making the renting process smooth and stress-free over the years. Communication has always been clear, and any issues have been resolved quickly and professionally. It’s rare to find a letting agency that combines efficiency with such a personal touch, and we feel very fortunate to have been tenants with College and County. We would highly recommend them—and especially Ellen—to anyone looking for a trustworthy and supportive letting experience.
