11th Jun 2026 (24 days ago)I had a very disappointing experience selling my house through Dixons. Throughout the process, Lee was often rude whenever I spoke with him, and his attitude made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected. Eventually, I told the company that I no longer wanted any communication with him, and things improved after that. I paid around £2,400 to sell my house and was told that this would cover the service. My solicitor was given the same understanding. Very little work appeared to go into the sale. No photos were taken of my property, and as far as I am aware, no marketing was carried out on my behalf. After the sale completed, and around a month after I had already provided statements and the requested paperwork, I was unexpectedly told that I owed an additional £118. This had never been made clear to me during the sale process. The company continued to email me demanding payment and eventually passed the matter to debt collectors. At the time, I was busy renovating my property and did not always have the opportunity to call or deal with additional correspondence, which made the situation even more stressful. Overall, I found the service poor, communication unprofessional, and the additional charge unexpected. Based on my experience, I would not use this company again.

Communication was excellent throughout and we always felt well informed. They organised a great open day which led to a quick sale, and everything was handled smoothly. Their honesty and integrity really stood out—we felt we could trust their advice completely. We unreservedly recommend them.

Michelle, Lisa and Helen were fantastic throughout the entire process. Professional, knowledgeable and always on the ball, they helped take away so much of the stress that comes with moving house. Communication was excellent, and they were always available to answer questions, provide updates and keep everything progressing smoothly. What really stood out was their dedication and willingness to go the extra mile. We always felt supported and confident that they were doing everything they could to achieve the best outcome for us. A huge thank you to Michelle, Lisa and Helen for all their hard work. If you're looking to buy or sell a property, Ruxtons are an excellent choice.

14th Jun 2026 (21 days ago)I have been delighted with the service provided by Smart Homes when I was recently selling my deceased mother's home. I selected this company because I felt I was given the best information at the outset by Simon when he came to appraise the property. He was pleasant, enthusiastic and realistic, putting a far higher value than I had expected upon the house. Other estate agents in the locality gave a much lower estimate because, as they explained, they wished to stay within a figure which they believed was achievable. The slightly lower offer which I did accept was still higher than what the competitors had suggested as a starting price. Simon's ideas proved to be very accurate indeed!<br><br>Once the property was on the market I was always given notiification about viewings which took place together with immediate feedback by all the staff concerned. I was never left wondering what might be taking place as has been my experience on previous occasions with other properties.<br><br>I was also made aware of any issues arising with the property when viewings were taking place. When one surveyor , for example, left the loft cover open the matter was reported to me straightaway and, because my friends couldn't lift it, a staff member quickly came to the rescue. None of us wanted a draught blowing through the hall as we approached winter months!<br><br>The team members in the office were all always friendly and helpful, returning calls, providing up-to-date progress reports but I must single out Helen as being especially conscientious when dealing with my queries. She kept me fully posted at all times in both a positive and professional way and by the time we reached completion day I felt as though we had become good friends. Once again, all her predictions about the sale came true. She was obviously totally aware of how matters work out eventually.<br><br>I would not hesitate to recommend Smart Homes to anyone wishing to sell a property in and around the Solihull area. The company are to be complimented on the efficiency and hard work of their team.

24th Jun 2026 (11 days ago)B & G proved to be efficient letting agents, listening to the kind of profile of tenant we wanted and finding them. When we decided to sell the property, a different arm of the organisation took over and provided a good service. Plenty of communication and a willingness to intervene to ensure that the sale went through. It did take nearly 5 months to sell our maisonette, but I think this may be more to do with the fact that the property was leasehold rather than inefficiencies. Sophie at B & G, Shirley was particularly pleasant to deal with. Thanks team

I had many questions but these were covered without me having to go through them. Their ethos seems exactly in line with what we wanted. As Tom said ‘they didn’t reinvent the wheel they make sure the wheel works’!
