Jamie was knowledgeable, unlike us, which made the process so much more bearable. Always at the end of the phone if needed and a big Thank you for his kindness and understanding. Highly recommended. 28th Sep 2025 (7 mo. ago)A few things which we were promised which they didn’t deliver on, we went with this estate agent because they said they’d have multiple offices working on our property, but it ended up being just one office in a different area to where we were selling. We were there for some of the viewings and they didn’t know answers to basic questions which we know we had given them information for

All staff have technical , sales and legal knowledge and are just always “ on it “ , they always know the current situation and the next step , always think ahead for the Client. Achieved asking price in record time. It was a real pleasure with the very best result.
7th Jan 2025 (1 year ago)Assume they are out of business. Nobody answers the phone, all numbers transfer to a mailbox which is full so cannot leave a message. Properties for rent are still live on RightMove. Probably best to avoid!!!

17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

Makes letting a property extremely easy with the assurance that all the required legal documentation has been supplied and completed professionally and correctly!! 5 years later and we just sold our house with Paul. Top notch service all the way! He helped us find the right purchasers and ensured the sale went through as quickly and as smoothly as possible! Always ready to go the extra mile to make it as simple as possible. I can’t rate them enough!!

2nd Jan 2022 (4 years ago)We used Classic Lofts for our loft (and to reconfigure a bedroom and shower room into study and bathroom) in 2019. Whilst they weren't perfect (show me a builder which is!), the project only overran slightly, was done to a good standard and snagging was dealt with by Bernard snr very effectively and they put something right when asked. We have since used another company and have had a terrible experience, so thought I would leave a review having realised Classic were pretty good all in all.
29th Sep 2025 (7 mo. ago)Recently brought a property through Charringtons and I genuinely found them to be very polite, professional, honest and informative throughout the process. I speak as someone with above average knowledge of the industry and they provided exactly what I requested or were transparent when it wasn't possible along with reasoning and proposed work around. I would also say that they got the balance right between advocating for myself as the buyer, the seller and getting the sale over the line with expediency. There were multiple issues with this exchange that needed ironing out and they were able to effectively liaise between the buyer and seller to attain progress and at no extra cost to the seller via paying for another seller's pack. They were also able to assist with myself getting the keys to the garage before exchange completion which was a bit of a life saver as we were getting turfed out of our current property the week before. They were also able provide updates more promptly than our solicitors, particularly at the end as we were waiting for tenants occupying the property to vacate, which I believe they were managing also and assisted in finding them another property. I would also add that we settled on a price below the (high) asking price but still reasonable for the seller IMO (I feel I could have low balled in the current market if I was able to be sufficiently patient, so what we settled in I'd say is slightly above the market price). So a special thank you to Michael & Co at Charringtons and I would highly recommend to anyone buying/selling/letting/renting. Plus it helps that they are all good/friendly people too.- 28th Aug 2021 (4 years ago)I support the feedback submitted previously about the inability to get in touch with the agents. I've called the reception 5 days in a row about arranging a viewing of a flat and I'm still expecting that some magic will happen and someone will finally call me back. I've highlighted that I had seen the development before and pretty much ready to make an offer for the flat but it's ridiculous that I just can't get in touch with anyone from the team to arrange this!

27th Nov 2025 (23 weeks ago)Friendly and helpful agent- 20th Dec 2021 (4 years ago)Sadly I bank with them and I won’t be changing till I find another Alternative which has 0% interest. This bank was much better when it was called IBB!!! Service was much better then! The customer service team on the phone are useless , no knowledge of customer service at all and seem to not care and rude. Their always leaving me on hold for ages and when I get through them they’re unable to help! Always logs me out of the app!! Even though my security details are correct it keeps saying it’s incorrect !! Then it ends up blocking me from verifying with my security details! Tells me to go in the branch!! Only one branch in central London which is far away from me!! I’ve reset my security details three times as they’ve repeatedly done the same thing so I’ve written the security details down to avoid this but unfortunately it happened again!! Open more branches in other cities !! Improve customer service and employ more people who are bothered to work at Al Ryan!!
25th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)????- 26th Sep 2022 (3 years ago)This is the worst service I’ve ever received from any company. Since Day 1, they don’t reply usually when you’re asking questions. They postpone many things and lied about some issues. For Example, our fridge has been broken because it was old we’ve asked them a couple of times and they said they’ve already ordered a new one but we could see when they’ve ordered. You need to chase them for anything. The most disappointing part was, they’ve tried to charge the thing or issues that have been already damaged from the deposit I paid. It’s been almost 2 months and they didn’t refund my deposit. I said ok for many things just for the sake to receive our deposit back. They’ve even tried to charge 275£ for cleaning and I said OK even my flat was not much clean when I moved in. They tried to charge cutlery which belongs to a former tenant or an already broken clothes hanger. When we asked for the kitchen stuff or replacing these things they said “ These are personal things, and we cannot supply” but at the end of the tenancy, they tried to charge. I strongly DON’T suggest working with this agency. If you can find another place to move in go with them. They are the worst! They don’t do what they need to do. I’d like to suggest taking a photo of every inch of the flat! Every single detail is just for keeping a record on your own. As I said don’t work with them, if you need to take photos and keep send them for recording.
