The entire process was incredibly efficient and professional; Sophie was always responsive to my queries and handled the contract preparation and signing with impressive speed. Her communication is precise and consistently helpful—I strongly recommend her! Since moving in, "Helen" has been managing the property and has been equally wonderful. Any issues I've reported have been handled promptly by professionals. Helen is a highly responsible and effective property manager. Great team overall!

22nd Jan 2026 (8 weeks ago)The whole team at Arkwright’s in Saffron Walden have been a joy to work with. From initial contact, to the sales details - including a very inventive video, made on the only rainy day for weeks and weeks with a ‘Singing in the rain’ sound track! l had several viewings in the first week and an agreed sale within around 2 weeks ( after having been with another agent for 4 months with no viewings at all) The whole process has been easy, efficient, profession, respectful and friendly. I would highly recommend them and especially if you have a slightly quirky property. Thanks to all.

They are still the same bunch of people who will try to rip you off on every single occasion. Please avoid at all cost. There are plenty good agencies out there

4th Mar 2026 (15 days ago)How many of you can say that you contacted an estate agent on a Tuesday and by the following Tuesday you received confirmation that your property has provisionally sold? I can. David Burr visited my house discussed details and value, measured up, took photos, produced a brochure, identified and contacted prospective buyers for a viewing which proved successful; all within a week. This was due to the professionalism of the team at Castle Hedingham who I found knowledgeable, personable and helpful. So thank you to Tim, Richard and Gemma who kept a tight grip on the process and enabled my move to be conducted smoothly.

Each and every aspect of the marketing and selling process was conducted professionally and I felt confident that I was being fully invested in as a client. They were quick to notify me of pending viewings and gave a full appraisal following each. Every member of staff involved had a friendly and personable manner and were a pleasure to engage with, namely Graham, John and lastly but not least Sam who predominantly led the sale. I would have no hesitation in recommending using this branch.

4th Mar 2026 (15 days ago)Don't even waste your time. Viewed a house on Monday. Asked for an application for it. Did not come through so chased it. Eventually came through on Tuesday, so filled it out and sent it in. Then told on Wednesday that it had been rented. Turns out they did not wait for my application, even though they knew it was coming. Just presented the first one they got to the landlord, who no doubt acepted it because he thought it was the only one. Since when has renting been a race and the winner is whoever gets the application in first. Waste of my time.- 8th Mar 2026 (11 days ago)We recently bought our home through another agent but had the pleasure to meet Ryan through this encounter, as first time buyers we couldn’t have asked for a better experience whilst looking for our dream home From the very first viewing, Ryan was professional, knowledgeable and incredibly supportive. Buying a house can be stressful, but Ryan made the whole process feel smooth and manageable. Unlike most agents, Ryan knew his stock and you can generally tell there is a compassion to not only sell us a home but to deliver for his client by answering all questions and making us feel comfortable ; he knew every little detail and you can tell he knows what he’s selling. Often contacting me outside his work hours, He was always quick to respond with new listings and updating me on what he has coming up, During our purchase, he helped organise a survey and put it us the right direction with getting solicitors instructed. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. What really stood out was how genuine and approachable he was, he wasn’t even involved in our sale but was more of an assistance than the agent we where purchasing through, you can tell he truly cares about his clients and wants the best outcome for them. His advice was always honest and helpful, and it made a huge difference during such an important decision. If you’re buying or selling a property, I would highly recommend asking for Ryan. An absolute credit to the team and someone we’re very grateful to have had guiding us through our purchase. Thank you again, Ryan! ?????

He answered all of our questions from our initial interest in the home, initial viewing, lease agreement, up until it was time to receive our keys. My wife and I would recommend Hazell's to anyone moving to the Bury St Edmonds area!

But I still feel I have to comment on how professional all the team were that helped us they couldnt have been more supportive. Rebecca Jade Stuart and Connor were always on hand to answer any questions about any queries we had I would highly recommend them as Estate Agents and there professionalism.
