5th Dec 2022 (3 years ago)Disappointing experience. We unfortunately entered the market just as the economy was crashing into recession. However we chose Churchill because of their long standing local presence and thought they would provide an excellent service. We found them old fashioned and disjointed e.g. no 360 degrees online presentation of our house, we had to point out out that the published photos were originally missing a room, they was a complete lack of diversity in their agents (of which we had to deal with 3 different men although the area manager had said we would only be dealing with him) the different agents didn’t appear to have pre-read the information we had provided about our house before the viewings and there was a general lack of ongoing communication. In the end we only had two viewings before we ended the contract after 4 weeks.

8th Dec 2025 (14 weeks ago)SHAMBOLIC. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. Accepted my offer on a house and assured me the vendors would not "guzump" me. After spending a few thousand on legal fees and mortgage broker fees, they tell me the house was sold to someone else. DISGRACEFUL.

So much so, that we also had Gareth sell our house recently. His honesty, professionalism and commitment is on a different level. One of the best selling experiences that I've had.

Laura and Sophie are always quick to respond, well organised, and efficient when resolving any issues with the flat. They’re also super helpful, which makes the whole process so much easier. I really wish all estate agents were like this.

30th Jan 2026 (7 weeks ago)As a first-time buyer, I trusted this estate agency to provide accurate and reliable information when viewing and proceeding with a property purchase. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. When I was shown the property, I was told three key points that significantly influenced my decision to proceed: • That the flat had an allocated parking space • That the leasehold was 999 years • That residents contributed to a joint building insurance policy After several months of progressing the purchase and paying substantial solicitor fees, it became apparent that all three of these statements were incorrect. There was no allocated parking for the flat, the lease was under 150 years rather than 999, and there was no existing joint building insurance policy. Each time I raised these issues with the estate agent, I was simply told that the information had been provided incorrectly by the seller and that they apologised. While mistakes can happen, these are material facts that should have been verified before being presented to a buyer, particularly as they directly affect a purchaser’s decision-making. The process was stressful, costly, and ultimately ruined my trust in the agency. Buying your first home should be an exciting experience, but being misled on multiple fundamental aspects of the property made it extremely disheartening. I would strongly advise future buyers to ensure all key details are confirmed in writing and verified early in the process.
13th Nov 2025 (18 weeks ago)I went in t get a key cut from a lock i had just bought for 10 pounds at screw fix and they said it would be 15 pounds I said how come you charge so much they said " because we can" THEY are taking advantage of people the blanks on ebay you can get 5 for 5 pounds

I was desperate to complete before Christmas as I was potentially homeless and Jon pulled out every stop to make sure this happened. I cannot thank him enough.

They have always been really friendly ,helpful, and easy to deal with. Anytime I’ve needed anything they’ve been there and the service has always been great. Would definitely recommend.

The overall service was disorganised and unreliable, leaving me frustrated and disappointed. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere.

She was incredibly professional, friendly, and always quick to respond to any questions I had. Olivia made everything smooth and stress-free — from the first viewing to finalising the paperwork, she kept me informed every step of the way. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares about their clients, and Olivia truly does. I would highly recommend Dayfields, especially if you get the chance to work with Olivia. Whilst many other estate agents are full of hot air, patronising and have no clue what they are doing, Jo and her team stand out from the crowd by being genuine, friendly, easily contactable and really good at their jobs. No overpromising or under delivering, Hestia’s know the business in and out and we felt in safe hands. They have a great eye for property and their photography is on point. We would happily buy or sell with Hestia’s again.
12th Jan 2026 (9 weeks ago)During my viewing with Mr Soobh, I felt uncomfortable due to comments about my choice of clothing and inappropriate remarks regarding bedroom size. The whole experience felt unprofessional. I was referred by a neighbour who secured a property late last year, so I expected better, especially given the type of properties involved. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend, and I wouldn’t advise any woman to attend a viewing alone.

From the initial viewing to completion, the team was professional, responsive, and extremely helpful. They kept us well informed at every stage, answered all of our questions promptly, and ensured the buying process moved smoothly. Purchasing a new build can sometimes feel complex, but their guidance and clear communication made everything much easier and less stressful.
