19th Feb 2026 (27 days ago)My husband and I bought a house through Charles David Casson a couple years back and they were the worst part of the process. Their communication was poor from start to finish. They recommended the worst solicitors, DO NOT go for the solicitor they recommend. They failed to adequately arrange viewings and made the process HELL. At several points I had to request their manager to intervene, who was equally useless. If you enjoy stress and headache, you can go for them. If the seller had not been so lovely and accommodating, we would not have got this sale over the line. We literally did all the work whilst they twiddled their thumbs and wasted our time. After the sale went through, they’ve been harassing me periodically to give a valuation of the house- in case I want to sell. Haunting me even to this day.
26th Feb 2026 (20 days ago)We recently used Davies & Davies to sell our house. It was a difficult sale over 18 months. However, Davies & Davies were excellent from start to finish , especially Isaac, who you always felt had your best interest in mind. Excellent experience and I will be using them again if I need to buy or sell again. It’s rare to find an estate agent with a personal touch, if that is what you need with your sale or purchase, look no further.

Adelaide was the dream agent, responsive, friendly, professional, informed, supportive and with a sense of humour. My experience with Allan and Harris was excellent, attentive and personal. Fed up with This agency, we keep chasing our deposit , no response and no clear communication; false and irrelevant checkout report , they do not deserve any star

From the very beginning, our priority was a quick sale — and that is exactly what happened. From the moment the property was listed on the market to the exchange of contracts, the entire process took just 2.5 months. The whole experience was an absolute pleasure. The team went above and beyond, showed full professionalism, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Communication was excellent, and we felt supported at every stage. 18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

From the outset, he stood out as professional, knowledgeable and genuinely personable, easily the most approachable estate agent we dealt with during our search. We actually hoped we’d be able to purchase through him, and we’re very glad that’s how it worked out. Moving house is never straightforward, but Richard made a real difference to our experience. Communication was always prompt, clear and friendly. He was proactive, easy to speak to, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. We felt completely comfortable asking questions and always received quick, helpful responses. His calm, positive approach helped steady what can otherwise be a stressful process, and that’s something we truly appreciated. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Richard and the team at Miles Byron. If we ever move again (hopefully not for a long time!), he would absolutely be our first choice.

From booking a viewing to moving in, Carly, Who was the agent responsible for managing the viewings and property while it was on the market for a new tenant, was simultaneously friendly and professional, and effectively communicated any and all details that were needed swiftly, and responded to any questions we had promptly. Me and my wife are very happy with the whole experience.
