Our experience with Gascoigne Halman was unfortunately very disappointing, particularly towards the end of our tenancy.<br><br>Communication became increasingly difficult and, despite our efforts to resolve matters reasonably, the situation ultimately escalated to the point where we had to involve solicitors and also escalate to a formal deposit dispute with the DPS. We are pleased that the DPS subsequently awarded us our entire deposit back, bringing a lengthy and stressful process to a close.<br><br>We appreciate that tenancy matters can become complicated and that there are two sides to every dispute. However, we feel this could have been handled far more clearly and professionally.<br><br>Based on our experience, we would be hesitant to use Gascoigne Halman again and would urge both prospective tenants and landlords to carefully consider their experiences with the company and to keep thorough records of all correspondence and agreements.

They sold my house within 5 weeks and they didn’t value it too high so that it generated lots of interest. They also coordinated the offers to ensure it went to best and finals. The communication was always amazing with feedback after every viewing. Both people that worked on the sale - Kim and Jules - were really lovely and supportive too.

Julie at Gascoigne Halman was fantastic throughout our house purchase. Buying a house can be incredibly stressful, especially with a long chain involved, but Julie was proactive, supportive, and always kept things moving.
Her communication, persistence, and coordination made a huge difference and genuinely helped get the purchase over the line. The wider team were also professional, responsive, and helpful throughout the process.

I have always had a pretty low view of estate agents until I decided to chose Gascoigne Halman to sell my house and their team was so good that I even bought my new house through them. Sam who sold my house just went above and beyond to make the sale and purchase as smooth as possible. Yes the estate agent gets a fee but she did work that was more than expected. All of the team were a pleasure to communicate with, Debbie, Ben, Sarah, Andrea there was always someone to answer the phone and deal with my query. I had to go in personally today with flowers and a card to thank them all. And try and start the new conversation on furniture!
