22nd Oct 2025 (21 weeks ago)The worst letting agency out there. Getting them to support the tenant with anything is like pulling teeth. We’ve been asking and filing requests for over 4 months to have Connells send one to take a look at our kitchen sink, and it still hasn’t happened. They keep passing blame around to building maintenance, to the landlord, but never actually taking any action to support the tenant. On top of that, the communication comes whenever Connells feels like it. They set response timelines which are rarely adhered to and even when they do communicate, it’s nothing of substance. Avoid at all costs!

13th Jun 2025 (9 mo. ago)We cannot recommend Village Estates highly enough. From beginning to end the service was 5*. Peter was tireless in his efforts to get our sale and purchase over the line. He proactively intervened on our behalf every step of the way. He was unceasingly patient, polite, friendly, professional and calm He made sure to keep us constantly updated and was always prompt in returning calls and answering enquiries, however small. First rate, top quality and exceptional service. If you want to sell or purchase a house, make sure to use Village Estates. Huge thank you to the whole team; we couldn’t be happier.

Over the years I have worked with and for many estate agents and never have I come across one who is so proactive, professional and helpful in all respects. He did not give up ever and chased for information and ensured a speedy exchange and completion actually on time and as promised. Great experience and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Murray to handle any future sale. Thank you, Murray.

They were very quick with getting the brochure and advertising together and super quick with booking viewings. The property has sold quicker than expected, which is probably down to the work they put into getting it advertised ASAP. They have gone above and beyond with their professionalism and advice and we can't thank them enough. Highly recommend ??????.

From start to finish, the whole process was incredibly smooth and stress-free.<br><br>Communication was excellent throughout. A special thank you to Nick, who I dealt with directly. He was super helpful, friendly, and professional at every stage. Nothing was too much trouble, and he made sure everything moved along efficiently.<br><br>I can’t recommend Aubury and Finn enough if you’re looking to rent. Anyone going through the renting or buying process would be in a very safe pair of hands working with Martin & Co. They are experts and know the industry extremely well. In addition to the massive expertise, another thing worth highlighting is how nice and helpful the team was to me. THANK YOU Mandy, Tom and Claire for your kindness and fantastic work done. Also, very few Estate Agents have a website as well designed as the website of Martin & Co. Both processes of renting or buying a property are really complex, and I found very useful the wealth of advice provided in the website, about the key steps in either renting or buying a property. By far one of the best websites I saw after checking dozen of websites from other estate agents. Kris was extremely efficient and handled the viewings professionally, keeping everything running smoothly. Tracie acted as our sales progressor and kept us regularly updated throughout the entire process, which made what can often be a stressful experience feel very well managed. We couldn’t fault the service and would happily recommend Cassidy & Tate to anyone selling their home.

Even how to have the flat looking and getting ready for viewings.<br>Next easy to sort viewings, flexible with times. Updated me when needed to, replied Promptly and made it happen real quick. She really was a lovely person.<br>So thanks Hobdays, see you again in the future. Thanks for selling flat in Seabrook Court. Lesley

They truly went the extra mile to ensure I felt confident and secure in finding the right tenant—someone who would genuinely love and take care of my home. Throughout the entire process, they have been extremely communicative and efficient. Delivering great service and depth of knowledge. Overall, I feel secure, well looked after, respected and listened to. I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

23rd Nov 2025 (16 weeks ago)Praise for Allsopps Harpenden. I rented a central apartment for a two year period and had a great experience. The initial engagement process was smooth and transparent which was most welcome against the stresses of relocating to a new area with small children (plus immense pressure from competition to secure a property from other renters). I did have a few teething problems when I moved in but these were all dealt with swiftly and professionally using a range of local, trusted and reliable tradespeople. Allsopps were always highly responsive to any queries and issues and I was confident any matter would be dealt with in a timely and effective way. The end of tenancy was also remarkably smooth and pain free and no delay in returning my deposit. I would not hesitate to recommend Nick, Charlie and the rest of the team to any potential clients.

16th Mar 2026 (2 days ago)I have had excellent service from Ashtons on all 3 properties they have sold on my behalf. They are professional, empathetic and extremely knowledgeable. I can’t fault them and fully recommend them. I have used Ashtons in Harpenden and Hitchin.
