13th Nov 2025 (18 weeks ago)We had such a great experience selling our flat with Statons. We dealt with Angelo who was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The flat sold in just 6 weeks for a price we were really happy with, especially impressive considering there are still other flats in our building for sale with different agents that have been on the market for much longer and still haven’t sold! The photos Statons arranged were perfect, and the video they created really captured the style and feel of the flat which was a nice bonus. Throughout the whole process, the team were helpful and responded quickly. A special mention to Angelo, who went above and beyond even making sure our cat was comfortable during viewings! I couldn’t recommend Statons enough and we will be using them for all future sales!

20th Oct 2025 (21 weeks ago)Used Ashtons as was a prospective buyer of a property they marketed. Not so many issues with the office but the sales progression team were always quite slow to respond and could never get through to the assigned person to my case. Additionally used ashtons to sell my property and I feel compelled to share my deeply disappointing experience. The problems began immediately. The agency provided an initial valuation to secure our business in July, only to suggest a £25,000 price reduction after just one week, admitting there was no interest. Despite agreeing to the reduction, it did not correlate to an increase in activity which would lead to questions around marketing and resource as Ashtons list a lot of properties. By September, they had only managed to secure two viewings. We received absolutely no feedback from either of these viewings, despite requesting it, leaving us completely in the dark. Lastly thier fees are quite opaque and if youre new to selling read through everything very carefully. In the non flex fees there are baked in withdrawal fees that ensure ashtons get paid regardless if they sell or not. Which gives them little incentive to really push your property in my opinion. The alternative is you pay money up front to them to sell your property which is preposterous. Fundamentally all the agents use rightmove to market your property and that's where most people go to find houses. In summary: an inaccurate valuation, negligible effort, a complete lack of communication, and a devious fee structure designed to charge you even when they fail to perform.
14th Jan 2026 (9 weeks ago)So good for so long as a landlord, efficient and helpful. Then it went wrong when difficulties with tenants leaving when I needed to move back in. Feels like the tenants are priority and no attempt to use the accelerated process available, with everything on go slow. If I'm cynical , is this because they are still receiving rent and so earning fee which will stop when I get the house back? Currently feel I have no option but to take over eviction process myself. If you go with them, don't bother with paying for them to deal with evicting tenants, just do it yourself.

David and his team were exceptional from start to finish and would like to say a big thank you for not only selling our property but also finding us the house we needed to hopefully get our eldest into Simon Balle Secondary School! 12th Jul 2025 (8 mo. ago)Truly awful service. Had the property on the market for a few months, only managed to get to speak to someone once. Chased and spoken to reception over 5 times, agent never calls back. We have since re let the flat with someone else and someone has moved in. As Satchells don’t answer the phone it’s still on Rightmove for sale. Would avoid and use anyone else

The whole team was professional from start to finish, with excellent communication throughout every stage of the process. They kept me updated regularly, explained everything clearly, and were always quick to respond to any questions. All the staff were very helpful and polite, which made a real difference — every interaction felt easy and reassuring. What really stood out was how thorough they were — nothing felt rushed, and every detail was handled carefully. It made the whole experience far smoother and far less stressful than I expected. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Michael Graham to anyone looking for an estate agent who’s organised, reliable, and genuinely on top of things.

Everyone was so kind and friendly and really helped us along with the process as first time buyers. 15th Jan 2026 (9 weeks ago)Our experience renting from Alexander Bond has been brilliant. The move was organised quickly over the Christmas period and there was no problems at all. Conor was extremely helpful, even in some rather difficult circumstances. We broke down on our move in day but he remained available long after working hours to help us. The welcome gift box was also a lovely touch and was much needed after a stressful day! The company are very responsive to my emails and questions and so far have been exactly what I wanted from an agency.

10th May 2022 (3 years ago)1st Choice a friendly family run business always maintained excellent communication which I really liked, if I had any problem weekday, weekend, or on a holiday, Kelly would reply back to my messages for support very quickly and same day. When I moved in to the property it was fully refurbished to an excellent standard. One time during winter I had a problem with my boiler with no heating for a few days. I made one call to 1st Choice and Mark dropped off some electric heaters, untill we got it fixed through Mear's. Anyone looking for property to rent then I would definatley recommend 1st Choice.
21st Feb 2026 (25 days ago)Honestly the best estate agents I’ve come across. Had so many experiences with different estate agents and they were very unhelpful and disappointing. Kai Davies from Target Property is so lovely. Very welcoming and polite. The process was so smooth because of him and his colleagues. Viewing completed, contracts signed and moved in within 2 weeks. So happy I went to them and forever grateful to Kai for the help and guidance. Definitely recommend this estate agents!- 9th Feb 2026 (5 weeks ago)The team at Putterills probably won’t realise that I am a fellow agent who runs Leysbrook in Letchworth, but I only have very positive things to say about the service I received from Putterills in Welwyn Garden City. From the viewing, which was conducted very professionally, through to the constant support and updates from Abigail Rawling, the service has been excellent from start to finish. My only small comment, and certainly not something that warrants losing a star, would be to reconsider charging buyers and sellers for AML checks ????
16th Mar 2026 (2 days ago)I have had excellent service from Ashtons on all 3 properties they have sold on my behalf. They are professional, empathetic and extremely knowledgeable. I can’t fault them and fully recommend them. I have used Ashtons in Harpenden and Hitchin.
