Despite several challenges over many months, Tom remained positive and kept the dialogue going between us and our prospective buyer. His persistence and professionalism ultimately resulted in a successful sale which, at times, had seemed unlikely.<br>Many thanks to Tom and the team for seeing the sale through, and for helping me find my next home as well.

Tyler Vear oversaw the process and was incredible. Tyler is so kind, helpful and kept us notified throughout the whole process, even when the solicitors were not communicating with either of us. We received helpful mortgage advise from Andy. Overall we are very grateful for all of the support from the Connells team and could not fault them. Tyler is an asset to the company and we would highly recommend her to anyone.

10th Aug 2026 (14 days ago)We recently sold our property through Boardwalk Estate Agents, and despite what turned out to be a very challenging and stressful sale, the team worked incredibly hard to get us over the finish line.<br><br>A special mention has to go to Chris Palmer, the Sales Progressor, who was absolutely outstanding throughout the process. The sale was far from straightforward (despite there being no chain) and involved dealing with an extremely difficult solicitor on the buyer's side, which caused numerous delays and frustrations. Through all of this, Chris remained proactive, calm, reassuring and professional.<br><br>What really stood out was his communication. He was always incredibly quick to respond to messages and calls, kept us updated at every stage, and worked tirelessly to keep the sale moving forward when it felt like things might stall again. We were particularly grateful that, due to the urgency of the situation, Chris even took the time to deal with matters during his annual leave.<br><br>This transaction certainly tested everyone's patience and sanity! However, Chris's persistence, dedication and support made a huge difference, and I genuinely don't think the sale would have reached completion without his efforts.<br><br>I'd also like to mention Rhia Lloyd, who was a real pleasure to work with from the outset. She did a great job with the valuation and marketing of the property, and her advice and support helped get things off to a strong start. Although Chris was our main point of contact during the sale progression, Rhia was always happy to help when needed and stepped back in towards the end when things were becoming particularly challenging. We really appreciated her support and the part she played in helping us get the sale over the line.<br><br>Thank you to Chris and Rhia for all your hard work. We are now happily settling into our new life in Brighton, and we're very grateful for everything you did to help make that happen.

25th May 2026 (13 weeks ago)I would like to express my disappointment with the situation regarding the cancellation of our reference by your agency. After Nicola decided to cancel our reference, I was informed that I wouldn't be eligible for a refund of my deposit. The most frustrating part is that she's now disputing this, claiming that we failed the referencing process, despite initially stating that she was cancelling the reference herself. When I pointed out that if she believed we failed referencing, she should refund my money, she became rude and refused, stating she would never give me my money back.

29th Apr 2025 (1 year ago)We viewed a commercial unit in March 2025. We liked the unit and so were asked to put forward a proposal as there were other interested parties. We were then asked to put forward a further best and final offer. Following that, over one month later we have never heard from Alder King, despite chasing several times. Incredibly rude and unprofessional.

We had some tricky solicitors to deal with, but they helped us navigate the whole thing, kept us constantly in the loop, and did a lot of the chasing on our behalf to get the purchase over the line.<br><br>Highly recommend.

From the very beginning of our house move right through to completion, the whole experience was made so much easier thanks to the incredible team, especially Izzy and Callum.<br><br>Moving house can be incredibly stressful, but they went above and beyond to take so much of that stress away. Izzy in particular was absolutely incredible throughout the entire process. She was always on hand, incredibly responsive, professional, reassuring and genuinely invested in making sure everything went as smoothly as possible. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and we always felt that we could contact her whenever we needed to — which made such a huge difference during what can otherwise be a very overwhelming time.<br><br>Callum was equally fantastic and both of them were so approachable, friendly and helpful from start to finish. They kept us informed, answered every question we had and made us feel completely supported throughout the whole journey.<br><br>What really stood out was that we never felt like just another customer. They genuinely cared about helping us move and went above and beyond at every opportunity.<br><br>If you’re thinking of moving house and looking for an estate agent, we would wholeheartedly recommend Kingstons. 7th Aug 2026 (17 days ago)I'm really not one for leaving negative reviews but I'm genuinely amazed this office successfully lets any properties at all. I would be concerned if I were a landlord using this company.<br>We are so keen to move to Portishead and have made enquiries so many times on a number of properties. I have given up completely now as I've lost count how many promises I've received regarding call backs (that's if they answer the phone at all) I can't even get as far as a viewing - trying to get anything from anyone in this office is like getting blood from a stone.<br>Please note if they say they'll call you back, they don't mean it.

The whole process of obtaining the flat, from the initial house viewing to getting the keys, was very efficient and hassle-free. I have no doubt that dealings with Debra in the future will be smooth and easy.<br><br>We didn't have much flexibility with our move-in date though (we wanted to move in halfway through August but were rushed into starting to pay rent in mid July, when we couldn't leave our previous address yet, so we ended up paying for two properties at the same time.<br><br>It seems that the estate agents are very restricted to what the landlord wants, prioritising him over us. For example, I was reassured and given false hope that the whole flat would be repainted, only to be told later that the landlord had changed his mind and would only do the bathroom, which desperately needed it.... I am worried that reporting any issues will be a nightmare, and issues will only be sorted once an issue has become very bad. However I am writing this very early on into my tenancy so we shall see how it pans out (smoothly, I hope.)
