I was kept informed throughout the process by understanding and delightful people for whom nothing was too much trouble. I can thoroughly recommend CJ Hole.

Despite a very stressful and uncertain situation due to delays on the seller’s side, Jordan has been brilliant from start to finish. As my mortgage adviser, he went above and beyond his role to help coordinate communication across different parties. Due to some communication challenges with another branch, he kindly stepped in and helped keep everything on track, which I really appreciated. He also worked closely with my lender to ensure everything was aligned, which gave me a lot of reassurance. He has been assisting communication between myself, my solicitor, and the seller’s side, always responding promptly and clearly. I really value that he never over-promised, but gave honest and realistic updates, which made a big difference during such an anxious time. While waiting for contract exchange and managing my moving arrangements, Jordan was patient, reassuring, and professional throughout. His calm approach helped me stay grounded. No matter the final outcome, I truly appreciate all his effort. He is reliable, proactive, and genuinely cares about his clients. 6th May 2026 (3 days ago)Northwood Letting have been great when I recently went through a change of occupancy at the flat I rent in Bristol. Any communications I’ve had with the staff at the branch has been excellent (special mention to Anne and Matthew) for answering my queries efficiently and promptly. They’ve made what was a stressful process, incredibly smooth! I would happily recommend the Northwood branch to anyone.

Definitely use Property Experts if you want a smooth sale without the promises other estate agents gave us and did not deliver.

29th Apr 2026 (10 days ago)For the most part our experience of Boardwalk was incredibly positive. Our estate agent Ester was 5 stars and genuinely was the best we've ever worked with after spending a prolonged period of buying and selling properties over the past few years with several estate agents from various companies. Ester's communication is above and beyond and I genuinely doubt you'll find a better estate agent. From her alone the premium you pay for Boardwalk is worth it. The reason however I am giving Boardwalk 4 stars is due to the sales progression side of the business. The communication was not up to the standard you would expect for the price you pay. Slow and at times unattentive comms with moments where you had to chase to get a response. Their online portal Property File is ok however our sales progressor either would update the sales progression steps late after they had happened or nor at all for both myself and our buyer. My property has sold and the sale completed and however on their portal it is still showing as the contract having not been signed yet. It's a confusing and destabilising time selling a property especially if you're unsure at what stage of the process you're at. Having the ability to see step by step where you and your buyer are in the process is in theory extremely useful however if, like in our case, it isn't used and that attention to detail just isn't there then what is the point of having it? If anything it adds to the anxiety of feeling in limbo which you naturally feel when selling/purchasing. So on this side of things the comms needs to be upped, which from reading other reviews, seems to be a common theme. It is a shame as this let down the otherwise flawless start of our Boardwalk experience that we had with Ester. In short great selling, weaker sales progression customer journey.
8th May 2021 (5 years ago)Beware of using Andrew's to buy/sell! Due to the poor standard of service and lack of communication we were not told of 2 unresolved boundary disputes that affected the sale of a property we had made an offer on. This caused a delay of nearly 7 months before we were forced to withdraw from the purchase due to the behaviour of Andrew's staff and management as well as the sellers attitude as they were constantly told it was not an issue by andrews. Andrew's later admitted to being aware of the boundary disputes when the property had been originally listed. You cannot complete and have the deeds transferred to your name or even get a mortgage on a property with unresolved boundary disputes - Andrew's you should know better! Being repeatedly lied to is not an appropriate form of service! We would not have proceeded to order surveys and searches and instruct solicitors had we known when we made our offer. This entire debacle has cost us nearly £1k in fees. We were offered a mere £250 as compensation for 7 wasted months and £1k of wasted money. We were constantly told it was not an issue and it was repeatedly minimised which dragged the process out. Despite making a complaint to management and escalating through the complaints process to head office we have had no appropriate resolution.

Communication was excellent, he really drove things forward with the sale and he was always available to help. All in all a great experience from initial valuation with George, photos with Nicki and the top man Spencer! Would thoroughly recommend George James!

They were communicative and professional. We also purchased our new property through them and we can't fault the service or price. Would recommend.

We were then asked to put forward a further best and final offer. Following that, over one month later we have never heard from Alder King, despite chasing several times. Incredibly rude and unprofessional.
