Like all house purchases it had its challenges and Martin dealt with these with total professionalism working as a honest broker between me and his client. From start to finish, the whole process felt incredibly smooth, straightforward and stress-free, and we were so impressed with the level of communication and service throughout. A huge thank you in particular to Tom West, who was brilliant every step of the way. He was always quick to respond, incredibly helpful, and made everything feel easy and seamless. We felt really well looked after and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We would highly recommend Savills Clifton, and especially Tom, to anyone in the area looking to buy or sell. A truly excellent service!
23rd May 2026 (6 weeks ago)The fabulous service from Richard Harding, from start to finish, was the best experience we have had in many property sales/exchanges. Peter Walker came to visit us and was both professional and extremely knowledgeable on price point, area and buyers. Peter managed to the whole process with his skill and experience. We felt that, as sellers in a tricky market place and with a larger property to sell, we were in safe, capable hands. Many thanks for guiding through this emotionally difficult period and for managing the bidding process together with keeping us informed through the various surveys and enquiries raised. 12th Jun 2026 (24 days ago)I put my house on the market late last year after a previous unsuccessful attempt to sell it. Tim was professional and understanding of my situation, listened to my views and only proceeded when I was ready. Had first viewings within days and offer made and accepted within 2 weeks. Lorraine who then took over did a fantastic job of leading me through the administration of selling, very knowledgeable and also calming when it all felt stressful (which selling a house is!). I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend CJ Hole.

20th Apr 2023 (3 years ago)I can’t thank the Leese and Nagel team enough, professional from start to finish, kept us updated throughout, their knowledge of the local market is second to none as well as finding us the ideal buyers to suit the house of our late Mother. She would be so happy. Leese and Nagel were honest, reliable and friendly while never letting their professionalism down. The whole team were superb. Thank you Rob, Louis and Catherine who we had personal dealings with but I have no doubt the rest of the team would be the same. Massive thank you from me, my brother and sister.
26th Jun 2026 (10 days ago)I had an extremely disappointing experience with this letting agency.<br><br>After viewing the property, I paid the holding deposit and completed all of the required checks. Everything was ready to proceed except for one issue: I could not provide my physical passport because it was being retained by the Home Office. This was completely outside of my control.<br><br>I provided every alternative document that the Home Office had issued to me, including my Right to Rent share code and my digital immigration status (eVisa). When I was asked for proof of my immigration status, I provided my eVisa exactly as requested. Despite this, I was still told that I needed to produce a physical passport.<br><br>The UK immigration system has moved to digital immigration status, and many people no longer receive physical immigration documents. The documents I provided were genuine Home Office documents and were the only documents available to me.<br><br>I genuinely have to ask: what is someone supposed to do in this situation? If the Home Office is retaining a person’s passport, does that mean they are not allowed to rent a property? I provided every form of evidence that the Home Office made available to me, yet I was still expected to produce a document that I simply could not access.<br><br>If my Right to Rent share code could not be verified, the correct procedure would have been to contact the Home Office using the Landlord Checking Service. Instead, I was repeatedly asked for a physical passport.<br><br>What made the situation even more upsetting was that, while I was still waiting for a response and only one week away from my planned move-in date, the property was advertised again for new viewings. I had already paid the holding deposit, completed everything requested of me and sent a detailed email explaining my circumstances. I received no reply, no explanation and no attempt to resolve the issue before the property was put back on the market.<br><br>To make matters worse, my holding deposit was retained. From my perspective, I did everything that was asked of me and provided every document that was available. The only thing I could not provide was a physical passport because it was being retained by the Home Office, which was entirely outside of my control.<br><br>This experience caused an enormous amount of unnecessary stress. I expected professionalism, communication and an understanding of the Home Office’s digital immigration system. Instead, I was ignored and left without answers.<br><br>I hope no one else has to go through the same experience.

They made the process straightforward especially having to deal with the new legislation that came into force on 1 May . Always dealt with our queries and ensured we understood the protocols involved in renting a property. . Thank you Andrew & Louise
3rd Jul 2026 (3 days ago)The agent took 6 months to sell one of the two properties I had. I spent a lot of my time chasing him up for information and feedback. He had failed to advise about writing into the sales schedule, no guarantees. This cost my £3000 payment to the buyer for a new boiler. He sold the property at home report value, which I'd agreed completely unaware of the additional costs I'd be paying. The second property did not sell. I discharged this estate agent and went with a different estate agency. Within two weeks of them marketing the property, three viewings resulted in two second viewings and an offer accepted. When I wrote a review, to prevent anyone else experiencing such unnecessary stress and negative financial impact, he responded with it was my fault for insisting on doing the viewings. Oddly enough, as my son is a vulnerable adult, I continued with the viewings after changing estate agents and behold the property sold!
17th May 2026 (7 weeks ago)I sold my house through Connells and had a fabulous experience, in particular Tyler. She went above and beyond with all elements from offer to completion. Can’t recommend her enough!! No question went unanswered and communication was faultless. Would definitely go through Tyler again and recommend her services, very professional.

From Emma showing us around our new home , Sadie’s help with the exchange and answering all my calls and emails ! And Sam helping sorting out our documents. We highly recommend using ocean and cannot wait to we move to our new home ! Thankyou ever So much to you all xxx

Only issue was that sometimes I explained to one agent about repairs happening on the home but this did not seem to be communicated to other agents who were showing the home, so prospective buyers did not know this (I was asked questions by an agent after a viewing for something I already communicated)

Communication was excellent, he really drove things forward with the sale and he was always available to help. All in all a great experience from initial valuation with George, photos with Nicki and the top man Spencer! Would thoroughly recommend George James!

25th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)I would like to express my disappointment with the situation regarding the cancellation of our reference by your agency. After Nicola decided to cancel our reference, I was informed that I wouldn't be eligible for a refund of my deposit. The most frustrating part is that she's now disputing this, claiming that we failed the referencing process, despite initially stating that she was cancelling the reference herself. When I pointed out that if she believed we failed referencing, she should refund my money, she became rude and refused, stating she would never give me my money back.

Had such a positive attitude consistently and was always willing to listen to what I liked and didn’t about a property. Tabby also communicated perfectly the situations of the sellers and we could not have asked for a better experience with our first few viewings ever.

29th Apr 2025 (1 year ago)We viewed a commercial unit in March 2025. We liked the unit and so were asked to put forward a proposal as there were other interested parties. We were then asked to put forward a further best and final offer. Following that, over one month later we have never heard from Alder King, despite chasing several times. Incredibly rude and unprofessional.
