Always had fab tenants and kept updated to by the team . In latter years have also sold property as now wanting to retire and again have been kept informed on the process . I do not hesitate to recommend letting2sales to anyone thinking of letting or selling and thank Mike , Hannah and Sarah and Sue now retired for many years of great service thank you all .
17th Aug 2026 (7 days ago)We recently bought a property in Llantwit Major which was marketed through Harris & Birt’s Cowbridge office. The purchase depended on us selling our property which was outside of the immediate area.<br><br>Although we were “Sold Subject to Contract” (STC) our sale took a little longer than we would have like but we have to say that Harris & Birt were excellent. They approached the property vendor on our behalf who agreed to wait until our sale was concluded. Throughout this period, Harris and Birt kept check on our progress in order to update the vendor. They were also very accommodating over the same period when we wanted to return to view the property on numerous occasions prior to completion.<br><br>For these reasons, along with their responsive communication, we would have no hesitation in recommending Harris & Birt.

5th Aug 2026 (19 days ago)Great experience with Northwood Cardiff. Can’t really fault them. Everyone who I had contact with was efficient and helpful. I must say that Paris particularly took really great photos and videos of my home.<br>It was sold STC within a couple of days of going on the market to the 2nd person who viewed it.<br>The legal process took months but Claire was always happy to update and reassure me.<br>All in all I really couldn’t be happier.

If it wasn't for the proactive, knowledgeable and empathetic approach, we're not sure the purchase would have happened. The service really was outstanding. The team really care and we so appreciated their support throughout.
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. 17th Aug 2026 (7 days ago)Awful experience, I had unauthorised expenses, when I raised the issue, I did not get explanation, as well charges for Gas safety certificate when no engineer was sent, no explanation, charges put on my account for work not done, I couldn’t trust the company, please look carefully into your statement, I had distressing experience with the company, I advise you to be extremely cautious.<br>Nada Mahayni

Picked up keys today and very happy with the purchase for the price I got it for - would 100% use them again for another purchase as they have a lot of good deals if you are looking to buy tenanted property.
