14th Sep 2025 (7 mo. ago)Avoid Brennan Ayre O’Neill Lettings – Unprofessional and Negligent We’ve rented through Brennan Ayre O’Neill for the past 14 months, and it has been a consistently frustrating and disappointing experience from start to finish. This review specifically concerns their lettings department, not their estate agency, as we’ve had no dealings with that side. Communication is virtually non-existent. From the beginning, responses were slow and inconsistent. At one point, they didn’t even show up for a scheduled property inspection with no notice or follow-up. This lack of reliability became a recurring issue throughout the tenancy. Maintenance issues were ignored or met with rude, dismissive responses. Emails and phone calls often went unanswered. When we raised serious concerns like damp and mould, the blame was shifted onto us, rather than any real effort made to assess or resolve the problem despite it clearly being a longstanding structural issue. Their contractors were unreliable and careless. Work was frequently left unfinished, and in some cases, contractors left rubbish dumped in the alleyway next to our property. We had to constantly chase both the contractors and the agency for updates or completion and even then, the standard of work and level of accountability was unacceptable. The staff we dealt with were often rude, unhelpful, and dismissive. Once the tenancy was signed, their interest in providing any sort of professional service vanished. It felt like tenants were treated as an inconvenience rather than customers. To any prospective tenants or landlords: avoid Brennan Ayre O’Neill lettings at all costs. They are unresponsive, unprofessional, and take no accountability for problems. We would never rent through them again and strongly advise others to steer clear. Our landlord has now switched letting agents and the difference in just one month says a lot about the property “management” or lack of from Brennan Ayre O’Neill.

Lesley came out and did the initial valuation, I was put at ease from the off and it made it an extremely easy decision for me to put my house on the market with Martin and Co. Once the house had gone on the market Abby took over for the sales progression. This was not an easy sale but Abby kept me well informed throughout and I could not be more grateful to her for all the support and chasing she had to do throughout. I am so happy that I chose Martin and Co. I would absolutely sell my house through Martin and Co again.

On top of that , they were really personable and easy to deal with. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and professional service.

Definitely use Property Experts if you want a smooth sale without the promises other estate agents gave us and did not deliver.

13th Apr 2026 (26 days ago)Firstly, for block management I'd give 7 stars if I could - in particular Debs is outstanding, top tier communication, and is on top of all issues, absolutely could not fault Debs and Northwood for this. I also use Northwood for managed tenancy, and would love to give 5 stars, as in most areas they have been brilliant, but are occasionally let down by timely communication and follow up, which can be frustrating. Overall though, they are much better than any other agents we have used, and would personally recommend them.

15th Apr 2026 (24 days ago)I have recently rented out my home through Lesley Hooks with the help of Claire & Charlie! Something that i thought was a daunting experienced turned out to be stress free and easy because of these two! I was really nervous with it being my first time and they explained all the things i needed to get in place and guided me through every step. It felt easy having them explain it all to me, they had all the contacts for all the certificates i needed and advised me on the landlord insurer they recommend. Lesley came to my property to take the photos and she was lovely! Her knowledge and experience is amazing. Claire really made me feel like i was in safe hands as she managed all my viewings of the property and kept me updated. Finding a tenant with Claire really took away my concerns and anxiety about the whole situation and she really did help me find the perfect couple for my home! I cannot recommend the experience i've had with Lesley Hooks enough simply because of these girls! They made the experience comfortable & easy, nothing was too much hassle for them and i didn't feel stressed like i thought i would! I actually ended up enjoying the experience of becoming a landlord for the first time in the end and i don't think i would have if i didn't have their help and guidance. 22nd Apr 2026 (17 days ago)Thank you to everyone at BFL! My house move from start to finish was drawn out, and very stressful, but BFL made it easier throughout! From me making the wrong decision and going with another estate agent, to coming back to BFL, to the date of completion, BFL were proactive, organised and communicative. I truly believe everything would have fell through, if not for their incredible and hard work. My only regret is not choosing them sooner. They went above and beyond the entire time, such as chasing other solicitors in the chain, and having to deal with my not so nice neighbours calling them. They handled everything professionally and efficiently. I will be forever grateful!

Great service from start to finish - from making an appointment, viewing property to going through the buying process. Highly recommend buying a house from them.

They are very professional, they respond to emails and inquiries quickly and offer a very personal service. They also ensure that any repairs are addressed as soon as possible. They are a pleasure to deal with!
16th May 2022 (3 years ago)Booked an appointment to go see a unit we were keen about, 2 other people also took time off work. We arrived onsite to no one to show from legat Owens, and then the landlady arrived to ask us what we were doing as the unit has been rented out for the last 3 months. So thank you legat Owens for completely wasting our time and letting us book time off work for a unit which isn’t for rent.
