The building site was very restricted for additional viewings, but Emma was very cooperative for us to gain access, and for trades to arrange dates with her to measure up. 30th Jul 2026 (24 days ago)In a nutshell (in case you're in a rush) we bought a home where Hamilton Piers were the managing estate agents, and they were so good that I had serious estate agent envy.<br><br>I honestly wish we'd chosen them to sell our own home.<br><br>From day one, the experience was a joy. Jade, Jenna and Sarah were not only professional and exceptionally knowledgeable, but also genuinely engaging, compassionate and have great senses of humour. They made us feel like actual people rather than just another sales commission or invoice number.<br><br>Having worked with a few estate agents now, I'd lost faith in the industry. More than once I've been charmed at the start, only to find myself constantly chasing updates after signing up, feeling dismissed and embarrassed that I'd fallen for the sales patter. Hamilton Piers completely restored that faith. Their commitment never wavered.<br><br>Every query was dealt with promptly, and Sarah, their Sales Progression Manager, became someone I spoke to every week. She kept us informed at every stage of the process, not only updating us on the progress of the move but also checking in to see how we were doing and offering help wherever she could.<br><br>The purchase wasn't entirely smooth sailing due to some complications with safety paperwork (nothing to do with the estate agents), but it was handled with extraordinary patience, professionalism and diplomacy. At every stage, we were confident that we were in safe hands.<br><br>We have no plans to move again any time soon, but if we ever do, I wouldn't hesitate to use Hamilton Piers. Originally priced the property above the recommended value had 16 viewing that David Martin undertook. Communications by phone and email were good keeping us in the picture. They obtained the buyer and communicated well during the negotiation process.

31st Jul 2026 (23 days ago)Outstanding experience and a delight to have dealt with from start to finish.<br><br>Everyone in the team, in particular Vicky, was extremely friendly, polite (and patient with us!) and they went above and beyond to help us secure our dream home in Coggeshall.<br><br>It was a complicated process buying a Grade II house with lots of unexpected moments but Heritage held our hand through the whole process and we couldn't be more impressed.<br>If we ever do sell the house... we wouldn't consider anyone else. Thoroughly recommended!

1st Sep 2025 (11 mo. ago)I leave on 218 Harwich road 3 year ,was very old house, i let this house with Abbotts Property from Colchester, Manager from theare check with me this hoise before i leave and say everythig is the same how was before and hi does t see any reasson to take my money back from depozit, i leave i moving to Romania with my family and after 1 months this agency Aboots send my message i have to pay back 1600£ to change floor, toillet, garage door, etc so this landdor not coming any day in 3 year i spend my money to fix some things and now hi whany to clean and change floor with my money. So be aware with this agency!
8th Jul 2026 (7 weeks ago)This is the second time that I have employed Nicholas Percival to let one of my commercial properties and the second time that I have had the pleasure of dealing with Billy Coe. What a star. The first property was let in a very short time with a far better rent than I had expected, he prepared the lease which was signed quickly and the whole transaction was done and dusted in no time at all.<br>The second property went just as well and despite me testing Billy's patience, he calmly and efficiently carried out the task in hand and a new tenant was installed very quickly. Well done Billy. I found this company's charges very reasonable and great value for money, so I will definitely be engaging Nicholas Percival for future property matters.

13th Aug 2026 (10 days ago)Ivy & Stone seem like a lovely estate agent and I really like the properties they have available. My only feedback would be regarding the website, as I personally find it quite difficult to navigate and a little unclear in places. It can sometimes feel a bit all over the place when trying to find particular information. I think a slightly simpler and more organised layout would make such a difference and make the overall experience much easier for potential tenants/buyers. Just some friendly constructive feedback as everything else seems great :)

Although the house was not for me, a HUGE thanks to Anya for her initiative prior to the viewing. She called me in advance to find out if I needed parking permit! A relative newbie to the property business, this young woman scored a first here for me – no agent has ever demonstrated such forethought towards me EVER! Usually, the viewer is just another name on a list during a day’s work. Not so for Anya. Durden & Hunt need to look out for this lady otherwise she could be headhunted out to an agency who values people who use their initiative.
