17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)What a different way to sell a home, with supportive, gentle and trustworthy people. We’d been mulling over the idea of relocating out of London for years and even discussed putting our home on the market with Unique previously. What we like is that there is no big sales pitch, no pressure to sell, just listening and responding. But more importantly, keeping both our buyers and us calm, communicative and friendly throughout the sale, so it felt as smooth as it could possibly be. We’re not planning to do move again any time soon, but we’d definitely use Unique if we were.
13th Apr 2026 (12 weeks ago)We have just sold our House through Colebrook Sturrock, Sandwich branch, in April 2026. From initial valuation to completing on our sale took just 7 weeks and was incredibly stress free. Our sale was handled by Sarah who has been fantastic from start to finish. This is not a one-off experience as we have bought and sold houses through Sarah before and can honestly say that she is, hands down, the best estate agent we have ever dealt with! Sarah really knows her stuff, but above all she’s a great communicator with a human touch, which really does make both buying and selling a pleasure. We have had the best experience and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Colebrook Sturrock.??????????

I truly appreciate the dedication and persistence shown by the entire Sandwich office—Charlotte, Dane and Emma. You’ve all been incredibly proactive, constantly following up, communicating clearly and doing everything necessary to move things forward and get our property sold. Your hard work and commitment have not gone unnoticed, and I’m very grateful for everything you’ve done. Thank you again!
20th Jun 2026 (15 days ago)Based on our own personal experience dealing with the Head of Sales at Laing Bennett, we found all the hype and the high levels of service on offer fell way short of the mark. Two very basic oversights/errors by the person in charge of Sales really was laughable although the head of sales took exception to her shortcomings when notified by email. The key failure and final straw on her part was her failure to properly arrange photography and a floor plan in one visit. Instead when arranging the third party company to carry out photography and a floor plan, she actually notified the company to carry out photography and an EPC in error. We didn’t require an EPC as our current EPC is valid until 2028. This meant it was going to be necessary for a second visit by the same company to complete a floor plan so wasted time for us and the photographer.<br><br>We had dealings with two other members of staff from Laing Bennett when they came to get an overview of the property and we must say what a contrast, both very professional and switched on which unfortunately wasn’t the case with the Head of Sales. The many positive reviews of this company are undoubtedly genuine, as is ours but on our experience we would have to suggest to any of our friends or colleagues looking to move, choose an alternative agent.

9th Jun 2026 (26 days ago)Geerings did a reasonable job in marketing our property and initially managing an offer but once that offer was accepted on our property there was a disappointing lack of service. They were un-communicative, ineffective, un-proactive and totally uniformed. They failed to call on a number of occasions they said they would and at times we didn’t hear from them for over 6 weeks at a time. They had no handle on what was happening further down the chain and there was no drive to find out. Over a year this ultimately led to 2 chains collapsing, both within a few days of exchange, neither of which they had knowledge of at the time. At no time did I feel they were looking after our interests and seriously trying to get the transaction across the line. Any complaint or criticism was met with silence and ignored. I would never use them again and I certainly would not recommend them. .

27th May 2025 (1 year ago)I'd needed to make a claim (upheld by the Property Ombudsman) against another local estate agent, who had dragged out and delayed this 2019-20 (probate) sale, in order to favour their buyer. After the above delay and attendant loss of several potential buyers was stopped in its tracks, with Miles & Barr being appointed to clear up the mess, they delivered a sale (and with yet more delays around the rent-a-roof solar panels installed by our parents - but they got there in the end), albeit at a lower price than we'd initially hoped for.

Always available, always charming, always diligent in following up the slightest lead. As our Sales Progressor, she went above and beyond to keep everything moving, pushing all parties towards exchange and ensuring nothing was left unresolved. She was incredibly thorough, professional, and always friendly and approachable. Buying a first home can be stressful, but Vanessa’s dedication, communication, and support made a huge difference from start to finish. It was clear that she genuinely cared about helping us through the process and achieving the best outcome. Anyone who has Vanessa as their Sales Progressor in the future will be very lucky. She is fantastic at her job, highly committed, and a real asset to the team. We can’t thank her enough for all her hard work and support.
28th Jun 2026 (7 days ago)They are professional and on the ball. Thry advised putting tge property with a range, but the headline in the portals was the lower figure. The range was just ignored by the potential buyers. I think this was a mistake in this very difficult market. If i did it again id go for the top figure and not a range. I thing it substantially reduced offers and thus the final selling price.

They were also extremely helpful to my buyer which made the whole transaction as stress free as possible. Friendly advice, good local knowledge, good communication and professionalism- everything that you need in an estate agent and everything that Jenkinsons in Deal provide.- 26th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)Thanks to Miles and Barr I sold my property within 2 weeks of being with them after nearly a year with another Estate agent. Special thanks go to Emily Strickler who kept me informed throughout the whole process and explained everything in simple terms when I was not sure about things. The whole selling/ buying went really smoothly. Thank you to all the team.
29th Apr 2026 (10 weeks ago)Maps estate agent could not have been better, they have been amazing, constant communication, above and beyond doing more than they needed to so we had a great transition between sale and purchase, we had a slight complication within the chain due to another agent phoned maps nothings a problem they communicated with all involved and sorted everything out that day I’d never use any other agent I will be recommending to anyone I can, thanks again Johnny and team, you really took the stress out of moving

27th Jun 2026 (8 days ago)We’ve just completed on our dream house as a family and something we never thought was possible- Then here comes John and Paul who have worked tirelessly throughout the whole process- up front with information around what’s going on with the estate, always answered every single question we’ve had they’ve answered even down to needing measurements for rooms so we could look at furniture. They scheduled viewings anytime we’ve asked which has really helped through the process. After this experience if we are to ever sell this house and buy a property they would be my first call every day of the week. Thank you both so much for your help

Clare was very positive about our property and suggested a price-range, which other agencies hadn't. The property was presented very well in the marketing material, and it was good to know that social media would also be used to market the property. Multiple viewings were quickly arranged. Within two weeks of going on the market, we were going to best and final offers with three interested parties. Clare discussed each of the offers with us, and helped us to decide which to accept. A very positive experience, and we would definitely recommend Wilson Real Estate
