Will is very confident and competent, even in challenging market conditions. Acorn are not difficult to get a hold of via phone, and the back office team are efficient too. Highly recommend.

12th Aug 2026 (11 days ago)We were recommended McConnells through a family member, and from the very first phone call, it honestly felt like a huge weight had been lifted from our shoulders.<br><br>From start to finish, the service we received was exceptional. They were incredibly responsive, helpful and professional, and kept us informed at every single stage of the process. They took the time to understand our requirements and made sure they found a tenant who was not only suitable for our flat, but someone we could feel confident was the right fit.<br><br>Everything was handled so efficiently and quickly, including all of the paperwork and necessary certificates. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and we always felt that we were in safe hands.<br><br>I have to give a very special mention to Lisa, who I will be forever grateful to. She genuinely went above and beyond for us. She helped arrange a decorator to get the flat ready, organised a gas engineer for the necessary certificates and arranged the electrical certification too. She took care of so many things that could otherwise have been incredibly stressful for us, and she did it all with such care and professionalism.<br><br>The thing that stood out most was how personally they treated us. We never felt like just another landlord or another property on their books. They looked after us as though we were family, and that level of care and attention is something we really appreciated.<br><br>The whole process was incredibly well organised, streamlined and reassuring. We now have complete peace of mind knowing that our flat is in the right place, with the right people and, most importantly, with tenants we feel confident about.<br><br>We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better service from McConnells and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking for a letting agent. We are very much looking forward to continuing our relationship with them and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future.<br><br>Thank you to the whole team, and especially Lisa, for everything you’ve done for us. From David when he came to value and talk me through the process and Luke who handled everything from then on nothing was too much trouble and he kept me informed every inch of the way and always with a smile. I loved the way of communicating with the office and with my solicitor was through What’s App. Questions and queries answered instantly, it was more like chatting with friends so different to any other estate agent I’ve dealt with.<br>Thank you ????????????

29th Jul 2026 (25 days ago)This agency "managed" my house rental very poorly with no push for any rent increase over 8 years+ and no on-site visit during this whole period despite being a contractual obligation, probably due to agency being extremely lazy as well as corruption for having some form of relationship with my tenants. He was friendly, helpful, professional and genuinely took the time to understand what I was looking for.<br><br>The property viewings were easy to arrange, and he was always happy to answer any questions I had without making me feel pressured.<br><br>I really appreciated how approachable and supportive throughout the process. I’d definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a property and wanting someone helpful and easy to deal with.

We have enjoyed a fantastic relationship with the two of them throughout the whole process. We were kept informed, at every stage, as to where we were & what should be happening next. They were also very proactive concerning both the buyers & our solicitors when & as required. It has been fantastic to find two highly motivated people where nothing seemed too much trouble.
