You get the full experience from first touch with Annie the owner for the valuation and photos and then once sold, amazing contract chasing from Abi who is outstanding. We will be selling another home in October and will certainly be using Northwood again. Great work team and thank you so much Abi for all of your hard work, updates and assistance with both viewings, feedback (when you had to cover) and contract chasing, bringing in all parties to exchange.

18th Aug 2026 (6 days ago)Had my property managed by them . Not happy with the way they handled when it came to an issue with tenant . The person in charge have not returned any of my calls dispite many messages left . Nobody took any responsibility on misshandeling and mistakes that was made .<br>I am still waiting for the last tenant to remove the rubbish they left in garden which will cost me a good couple of hunderd and the deposit has been returned without solving this issue.The property was left dirty also . It looks like nobody did their job and no last inspection was done .<br>I was told it was let to a letting company and their effort to contact them has failed .<br>All that management fees are to avoid this kind of problems or so I thought.

Even after moving into my new place she checked in with me to make sure everything was okay.
28th Jul 2026 (27 days ago)After a promising start with Jared it quickly went down hill. We are first time sellers and dealing with WHB put us off entirely that we took the house off the market and are going to try again in a couple of years (with another estate agent).<br><br>(To be clear, when we cancelled the contract I emailed them with our experience and it went unanswered)<br><br>In summary:<br>1. We expected a consultative experience. Being guided through the selling process with recommendations on what to do. Instead we’d get calls asking us what we wanted to do… if we knew what to do we wouldn’t be paying you thousands in fees.<br>2. Liberty is in serious need of training. Any push back or challenge and she hands you off to Jared, during negotiations with a prospective buyer she relayed incorrect information on their offer, and speaking with the offerees directly communication with them was non existent. From the same offerees we were told that Liberty really doesnt understand the house she is selling, any of its unique features (even though we sent an email detailing them) and instead just guessed.<br>3. We had 4 viewings in 4 months, zero advice on what to do. With one viewing they were an elderly couple looking for a bungalow (for context we are a 3 story with steep stairs)<br>4. We received an incredibly low offer. This offer was delivered with no advice, no suggestions on next steps, no consultation. Just "here's the offer, what do you wanna do?" This offer was given around lunchtime, to which we countered and I had to chase a call the morning after to find out what was going on.<br><br>Rather than the consultative experience we expected, it feels like they are just order takers.<br><br>Based on our experience id encourage you to avoid.

21st Apr 2026 (18 weeks ago)I have had multiple experience with the staff here and can honestly say that I would not go anywhere else. The staff are very professional, provide a great service and are very helpful and polite. Having both purchased and sold with whitegates and experienced superb service each time I though it was only fair that I shout about it so that others will know how good they really are. I only ever recommend them (and yes I have tried others in the past, my worst experience being with a company that has an X in there name). Whitegates however have and are always spot on, you wont go wrong using them. Thank you to everyone there for the years of amazing service.

4th Aug 2026 (20 days ago)Bricks & Mortar dealt with the sale of my house and were so helpful throughout, keeping me updated and always being there if I had any questions.<br><br>After dealing with other local agents, these are definitely the best in the area. It was so refreshing not to have to constantly chase for any news and they genuinely had my best interests at heart. They were always on hand with good advice and most importantly, always honest and upfront with me.<br><br>The whole process was made so much easier thanks to them. The whole team are a credit to the business. Thank you!

The communication was fantastic and Donna could not have done more to push progress and keep us in the loop. I only wish we had used them to sell our property also. Would highly recommend and would use them again when needed.

29th May 2026 (12 weeks ago)I first met Lora as a buyer, when she was selling the home I now live in. From the very beginning, she was incredibly helpful and proactive. She is so personable and from the moment you meet her, you know that you are in good hands. Within a day, my own property was on the market and attracting viewings, and I genuinely feel she went above and beyond to secure a sale for me. The video she posted on social media was incredible and received more views and kind comments than I ever expected. My house wasn't up for sale long but throughout the process, Lora kept me informed and booked viewings in swiftly. Nothing is ever too much trouble for Lora. Once the sale was agreed, her support didn’t stop. She continued to exceed expectations, staying closely involved to ensure the move progressed quickly and smoothly. Throughout the entire process, I felt fully guided, supported, and advised. Lora’s dedication and care made a real difference, and I’m truly grateful for everything she did. Thank you again!

From the initial contact we found GianFranco to be efficient, professional, proactive and thoroughly pleasant. He sold our property on the day of the first set of viewings and kept us informed all the way up to completion. I could not have scripted a more stress free experience myself. There should be a five star plus rating to do justice to excellence like GianFanco’s. Thank you on behalf of our family.

17th Jul 2026 (5 weeks ago)Georgia at Belper office was absolutely brilliant. She was the only professional in our house chain that pushed to get information and get the deal over the line. One niggle is that when staff answer the phone they don’t give their name and which office they are at. It’s a bit unprofessional and you never know who you are talking to.
