19th May 2026 (7 weeks ago)From valuation through to selling our property, the team were fantastic! We’d had our house valued the year before but weren’t quite ready to sell. The service then with Ben was outstanding and so we knew who we wanted to go with when we were ready! The team turned things around very quickly to meet our timescales and were incredibly knowledgeable and supportive. Emily was our key contact this time and she was proactive, had great communication providing us with daily updates and went the extra mile for us. Thank you team!

12th Jun 2026 (23 days ago)I did a few years ago sell my own house through Connells, Dorchester. It was a particularly difficult time for me in the midst of a traumatic divorce. Lily Creighton was amazingly supportive throughout the sale process and went above and beyond to ensure that the process was as painless and stress free as it could have been for myself and my son. Lily Creighton advocated throughout for myself at times when I struggled to do so for myself and worked tirelessly to ensure that both myself and my son came out of a very difficult situation in a much more positive one. I recently purchased a cottage through Connells in Dorchester. My point of contact throughout the process of buying the house, was again the Manager of Dorchester Connells. Lily Creighton. Lily was an absolute font of knowledge throughout the whole process, aways easy to contact and responded really quickly to any concerns or queries that I had. Nothing ever felt to be too much trouble and even at some of the more challenging moments, I felt that I was in very safe and capable hands with Lily. She was hugely professional throughout my time with Connells to the point where knowing that she was involved with the sale actually encouraged my purchase, as I knew that it would be handled professionally. Could not recommend or praise Lily Creighton and her team enough. Thank you Lily for all your hard work on both occasions, am very grateful !

Simon exhibited excellent local knowledge and prepared a professional marketing package that accurately reflected the property. Sol, his business partner was diligent showing prospective purchasers the property. His feedback following each visit was first class. Overall, I was very impressed with the perseverance of the team at Simon and Co. A friendly and professional organisation that is thoroughly recommended.

Charlottes communication, skill, patience, generosity, efficiency, attention to detail and advice have been flawless throughout our sale! I cannot thank her enough for all that she has done. Nothing is too much trouble for Charlotte, She has a wealth of knowledge and experience in real estate worldwide and it shows! I felt In extremely capable hands throughout this process. The staff are always polite, attentive and go above and beyond your expectations. I highly recommend them whether renting or selling. Nothing is too much trouble and the whole team have good knowledge of the current market conditions. We were kept informed of the sale process at all times which led to a very smooth sale. Thanks to all the team and I have no hesitation to recommending them.

From the moment he arrived, Joe was professional, well-prepared, and clearly very knowledgeable about the local market. He explained everything thoroughly and answered all our questions with patience and clarity. What stood out most was his compassion and understanding of our situation. Joe approached it with genuine care and sensitivity. I would highly recommend Joe and Greys Estate Agents for their professionalism, expertise, and thoughtful approach.
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

She supported my wife in securing a bungalow for her parents, who needed to relocate urgently to be closer for medical reasons, and she handled the whole process with genuine kindness and empathy.<br><br>She kept in touch every couple of days with updates, went above and beyond to make sure everything stayed on track, and was incredibly personable and easy to work with. Emma truly understood our family’s situation and made a stressful time feel so much more manageable.<br><br>We can’t recommend Emma at Chaffers highly enough. Sarah was incredibly accommodating when arranging viewings and was always happy to answer our questions. She provided all the information we needed throughout the process, helping to make what could have been a stressful experience much smoother. She also recommended a local solicitor who was excellent and played a big part in ensuring the purchase progressed efficiently. As first-time buyers, we really appreciated Sarah’s professionalism, responsiveness, and support from start to finish. We would highly recommend Sarah and the team at Danehurst to anyone looking and selling/buying!

They were agents for my MILs property, we had 4 months where no payment made and when I queried it and asked for statements Bhav became very defensive and said they couldn’t access statements easily but had nothing to hide and accused me of making accusations that were offensive - turns out they were completely true and money hadn’t been paid. Money was only paid because I went through statements and pointed out what hadn’t been paid. It took 6 months to get a response from TDS about deposit and as NH didn’t do their job properly my MiL got nothing back despite tenants leaving the property in a significantly damaged state. Avoid at all costs!
