We called up and spoke with Gennie who was very helpful and recommended James Goodman as we needed a surveyor for a split title deeds survey.<br><br>James came out to meet us, he was punctual, smartly dressed and very professional. He was extremely helpful and very knowledgable, offering lots of advice and ideas in how best to move forward for us in a unique situation.<br><br>James put us at ease making the whole process from start to finish an easy, smooth transition and all done in great time!<br><br>Highly recommend James and this company for anyone needing land surveying services.<br><br>Regards<br>Sam Turner

Would not hesitate to use again top marks to you all and well deserved.

7th May 2026 (9 weeks ago)unfortunately my experience with this agency has been consistently disappointing. Many of the properties they advertise look great and are reasonably priced, which is why I kept applying and contacting them repeatedly. However, despite numerous enquiries, I have never once been offered a viewing. The process is always the same: you call about a property, they ask you to complete an application form, you send all your information, and then you receive an automatic email saying someone will contact you shortly. But nobody ever does. The most frustrating part is the complete lack of communication. Other agencies usually contact applicants to explain whether viewings are available, whether the property already has too many applicants, or whether the application was unsuccessful. This agency simply ignores people after they submit their details. I even contacted them multiple times to ask for clarification, and each time I received the same scripted responses such as “we cannot offer viewings to everyone.” I understand that perfectly. The issue is not rejection — the issue is the lack of professionalism and communication. For context, I have a good rental history, and I currently rent a property that actually costs more than many of the properties I applied for through this agency. I am financially able to afford the rent, so the complete lack of response is difficult to understand. I also know several local friends (families) who tried to rent through this agency and had similarly negative experiences. They described the agency as completely unhelpful and said the process caused them a huge amount of unnecessary stress.If applicants are told someone will contact them, then they should receive an update, even if the answer is no. People are left waiting with no information at all. I also found the staff quite dismissive and unhelpful during phone conversations. Communication felt rushed and unfriendly rather than supportive. I genuinely feel this agency needs to improve its customer service, transparency, and communication with applicants. A simple update or honest explanation would save people a lot of time and stress but they usually say:”We have no time for that”!!!Actually it’s part of your job!

11th May 2026 (8 weeks ago)I hadn't experienced the buying and selling market for a number of years, so to enter with an established firm I knew and trusted was essential. From the initial consultation to trying to sell, they were always responsive and helpful. As the chain (although short) started to become slow and non-responsive, they still tried to do all they could. I would particularly like to single out Terri for her attention to detail and empathy when dealing with the sale of my departed parents property. She really worked over and above to make it happen. Thank you.
3rd Jul 2026 (3 days ago)The agent took 6 months to sell one of the two properties I had. I spent a lot of my time chasing him up for information and feedback. He had failed to advise about writing into the sales schedule, no guarantees. This cost my £3000 payment to the buyer for a new boiler. He sold the property at home report value, which I'd agreed completely unaware of the additional costs I'd be paying. The second property did not sell. I discharged this estate agent and went with a different estate agency. Within two weeks of them marketing the property, three viewings resulted in two second viewings and an offer accepted. When I wrote a review, to prevent anyone else experiencing such unnecessary stress and negative financial impact, he responded with it was my fault for insisting on doing the viewings. Oddly enough, as my son is a vulnerable adult, I continued with the viewings after changing estate agents and behold the property sold!

On the last viewing told us we had secured it in the Saturday only to be told on the Tuesday that there was a higher bid. We have been brought in as a bidding baite in this property. Avoid this agent! No office to even call in
10th Jun 2026 (26 days ago)We recently purchased a property marketed by Hills. We viewed a few places and dealt with different agents and I have to say, Hills were one of the best! They followed up after our viewing and even though technically we weren’t their clients, they were always helpful and friendly. If I was to put our house on the market they would definitely be on top of the list of agencies I’d consider going with.

We particularly liked how she got answers to our questions from the vendors and passed these back to us quickly. When viewing other properties, we have found that often our questions have not been answered. Having this additional information, made a material difference. A big thank you to Evie and the PL&J team

I told him I’d been let down badly by another mortgage advisor in the past that lost me a house. Jeremy promised me that he wouldn’t let me down, and he absolutely didn’t. He was constantly in contact with me, making sure everything was running smoothly and updating me during the process. Within the space of 2 months, I completed on my house. I’d highly recommend Jeremy to my family and friends should they require a mortgage advisor.

24th Apr 2024 (2 years ago)Poor performance under sold my house wanted to drop the price by £25k went to another agent sold it within a week at the original price disgusting service should be ashamed, the property was completed and although I drop the price I didn’t drop the price that you said it was worth to my ex wife’s solicitor didn’t have the decency to send the same letter to me this is why you were sacked as it became clear you were not working in my best interest

3rd Oct 2025 (9 mo. ago)Absolutely amazing service from Charlotte and the team at Toners! Sixteen weeks exactly from us putting our offer in to going to collect the keys to our new home today. Nothing was ever too much trouble and I never felt like I was being a nuisance when I asked questions (I asked a lot!) We visited various estate agents within the area and Toners were by far the most friendly and helpful we came across and made our first home buying experience both positive and straightforward - would definitely recommend!

28th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)Just no! There customer service is beyond awful. There specialists are not worth there money. As proof I had two copies of 1 item, one valued at halls one valued by another firm. The halls valuation was less than 100 pounds. Yet the other was valued and sold for 800 pounds. Both items where I. Identical condition. I would not trust this company again. I should point out both items where sold in the Shrewsbury area. So the difference cannot be put down to regional differences. Be very wary if planning to or currently using this firm.
