3rd Jul 2026 (7 weeks ago)Charlie was excellent during the letting process — punctual at the viewing, quick to answer questions, never pushy, and responsive throughout the negotiation. Full credit to him; if this review were only about renting the place, it would be five stars.<br><br>Unfortunately my experience as a tenant since moving in has been very different. Because of some rain my flat flooded badly, with dirty water coming through the ceiling and windows into every room. None of the emergency numbers in the tenant handbook were answered that night. In the days and weeks that followed I had to chase repeatedly; deadlines the agency set for itself came and went, and several of my emails — including one flagging what appears to be mould developing on my bedroom wall — went unanswered. Weeks on, the flat still hasn't been repaired or dried out.<br><br>Separately, several maintenance issues that were documented at move-in and promised to be fixed have stayed outstanding for months.<br><br>Great at getting you through the door; much less so at looking after you once you're a tenant.

The property itself was exactly as described – clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The accuracy of their listing gave me complete confidence in their integrity as a company. 14th Aug 2026 (10 days ago)I rented through Property Liaisons for just over a year and can honestly say I have rarely encountered such poor management. At almost every opportunity, mistakes were made. These ranged from minor but persistent issues, such as the admin team repeatedly misspelling my name despite it being clearly shown in my email address and signature. To more serious concerns, including a failure to inform us about a building-wide cladding issue and ignoring our questions regarding fire safety.<br>From start to finish, I was unimpressed with the level of service. A few examples highlight why my confidence in the company steadily declined:<br>* When we attended the office to sign our rental contract, we noticed the flat we were about to sign for was being advertised for sale in the window. When we asked about this, the two staff members present were unable to provide a clear answer and had to make a call, eventually confirming that the property had in fact been taken off the market some time earlier.<br>* Upon moving in, we were given the wrong parking space and an incorrect bin access code. In addition, several important emails were delayed because our email addresses had been entered incorrectly, despite the fact we had already been in regular email correspondence with them.<br>* A maintenance issue involving a broken vent, first reported on 11 March 2025, was never resolved. The fault caused the temperature in the flat to drop and interfered with the heating system. Each time we followed up, we were told that a new contractor had been appointed and would be in touch. Despite sending photos and repeated chasers, no repair was ever carried out.<br>The most serious issue, however, was discovering—through neighbours and the sudden introduction of a waking watch—that the building had unsafe cladding. Our subsequent email requesting further information went unanswered. While it may not be a legal requirement to disclose such issues to prospective tenants, it feels deeply unethical that this was not communicated to us before we moved in.<br><br>It is worth noting that our day-to-day interactions with Kier and Kieran were consistently positive. They were helpful, professional, and responsive in their direct dealings with us. Unfortunately, their efforts were undermined by wider administrative failings wilthin the organisation.

Aston in particular went above and beyond, he was professional and friendly right from the start and through the whole process, he always kept me informed and was responsive to all my questions, and the good communication made it stress free. I’d highly recommend to anyone looking to rent in London!

I'm so glad the landlord finally decided to cancel the contract with them.

28th Mar 2026 (21 weeks ago)I’ve had a nightmare experience with john co since the very beginning. First, they were incredibly inefficient with the move-in process, delaying my tenancy start date by three weeks and leaving the property vacant for that entire time. What makes this even more ridiculous is that they failed to carry out mandatory safety inspections (EICR, Gas Safety, EPC) during those three weeks of vacancy. Instead, they have contacted me three times in just my first three weeks of living here, demanding access for various contractors. It feels as though they are using me as an unpaid property manager to coordinate their overdue maintenance. If you value your time, privacy, and mental peace, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. Their management is a complete mess.

27th May 2026 (13 weeks ago)We requested a valuation. The person who came to visit our property was despondent and showed no interest what so ever in our questions. We were given no information on how the estate agency works the fees. Just a pamphlet show similar properties sold in our area. These were from other estate agents, so the moment they left I arranged for them to visit. Already had fabulous service and communication from the other estate agencies. Awful. Would not want them selling my property. Total lack of enthusiasm and information.
14th May 2026 (15 weeks ago)DO NOT trust this company if you are a renter. We moved into a flat with the stated intention of living there longterm, and as soon as we moved in, there were serious and major safety issues (exploding plug sockets, broken appliances, dangerous floor-level windows that opened to a sheer fall). Despite our intention to stay longterm, the landlord clearly had no intention of actually doing his job. He was slow and unresponsive on high-priority repairs, and the HSC staff were little help. He put the house on sale within a few months of living there, then issued a no-fault eviction notice, which rendered most of our time in the flat into a de facto show home. Aside from the general rudeness and incompetence of the staff, it is crystal clear to me that — if you are a renter — Hurford Salvi Carr have no interest in you, other than to siphon as much money out of you as possible. Avoid at all costs.

From the initial contact we found GianFranco to be efficient, professional, proactive and thoroughly pleasant. He sold our property on the day of the first set of viewings and kept us informed all the way up to completion. I could not have scripted a more stress free experience myself. There should be a five star plus rating to do justice to excellence like GianFanco’s. Thank you on behalf of our family.

My only feedback would be regarding the website, as I personally find it quite difficult to navigate and a little unclear in places. It can sometimes feel a bit all over the place when trying to find particular information. I think a slightly simpler and more organised layout would make such a difference and make the overall experience much easier for potential tenants/buyers. Just some friendly constructive feedback as everything else seems great :)
