19th Sep 2024 (1 year ago)Really poor experience of being a buyer through Remax, the house purchased was not as described or accurate according to Home Report. On entry to our home, no message to wish us all the best, no hot water, all the heating needing changed and based on the description was disgraceful. We asked questions at the viewing and told all was working and there hadn't been a leak which there had and now having to pay £10k on heating which was reflected as a '1' on the home report. TBH I don't think they asked the sellers any real questions and just marketed, took the money and moved on.
13th May 2025 (1 year ago)Turned up looking like she'd been beaten, which is forgiveable but knew nothing whatsoever about the property. Utterly useless representing a property, actively put us off it, and conned an old man into the greediest strategy we've head in two years of searching. Thanks for wasting everyone's time, Caesar and Howie.

Alyson was always at the other end of the phone or email if we needed to ask anything. Such a lovely person to deal with at a time that should be stressful. Thanks again for everything!
4th Jun 2026 (4 weeks ago)I have met quite a few estate agents and agencies over the years, and hands down, India Adams is the best agent I have ever come across. She has been extremely helpful, attentive, and proactive throughout the process. It doesn't happen often that, after a viewing, you actually receive answers to the questions you ask. India not only got back to me promptly with all the information I needed, but also went out of her way to make the search for the right property easier whilst brilliantly keeping me updated on the progress. With her outstanding attitude, professionalism, and a word that can be trusted, I see a very bright future ahead of her. What a wonderful experience. I would wholeheartedly recommend both India and Allen & Harris to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.

24th Oct 2025 (8 mo. ago)I have dealt with this solicitor and property agents since 1985. They are the most professional, thorough and efficient company that i have ever had dealings with in my whole life. I have bought and sold 7 properties for myself, 1 property for my mother and 1 property for my son. The property front office run by Carolyn McLaughlin and her colleagues always marketed my properties extremely well which in turn led to most of them being sold in under a month. In relation to my solicitor Mr David Vause, he is the ultimate professional in his field. David was always able to resolve any issues quickly and move transactions forward . I was able to converse with him over the phone or by email when i needed to. On the 22nd of October i popped in to the office to pick up deeds wills and other business letters to pass on to a new solicitor in Ellon. Envelope with these documents were left at reception for me to pick up and sign for. However David came down and we had a long chat about our interactions over last 40 years. What an absolute gentleman and ultimate professional.

Their comprehensive support alleviated any concerns I might have had. The team's friendly and helpful approach, coupled with their outstanding customer service, was truly commendable. Their profound knowledge of the market and strategic application of various techniques ensured the attraction of suitable prospective buyers. Despite the inherently stressful nature of the process, their involvement significantly eased my burden. Therefore, a massive thank you to Adrian King and his fantastic team up in Dunfermline branch! 27th Mar 2026 (14 weeks ago)Kenny was so helpful and empathetic to the fact I was selling my mums house who died recently. He immediately made me feel confident I had chosen the right person. The house was sold in 5 days for the valuation price which was fantastic. He was able to tell me a bit about the family buying the house and it was so comforting for myself and my sister to know it was going to a family who immediately fell in love with the house and were so excited to bring their family up there as mum and dad had done with us. I would highly recommend Kenny and the company to anyone. Thank you so much

They were extremely responsive when we asked questions and happy to explain any questions we may have. We also used them for our Will and we had the same, pleasure experience. Highly recommended.

From the outset, communication was prompt, clear, and consistent, and we were kept well informed throughout the entire process. They were always at hand by phone and email. The local office very useful to be able to pop in when needed. Our first meeting with Lyndsay was for the valuation. It was far more than just putting a price on the property, she took the time to understand our needs and provided thoughtful, informed advice about the process ahead. Her approach struck a balance between profession and a personal touch. Elaine was equally helpful, always quick to respond and offer reassurance when needed. With young children and pets, coordinating viewings could have been challenging, but the team made it easy. They worked with us to create a schedule that suited our routines and always provided plenty of notice. The photos and floorplan were handled by a professional photographer who did an excellent job with both the photography and floorplan. We were very pleased with how the property was presented. Communication was one of the standout aspects of the experience. We received regular updates on viewings, and all materials were reviewed with us first. The team were considerate in choosing how to communicate, using email when appropriate and picking up the phone when needed. They liaised efficiently with all parties involved and helped ensure a smooth process. Most importantly, we felt genuinely supported by a team that listened, guided us thoughtfully, and remained fully engaged from start to finish. No impersonal web portal, just real people, ready to help. The house sold quickly, and we couldn’t be happier with the way NEST handled the sale.

Communication regarding invoices and payments has been very difficult, with repeated delays and the need for constant follow-ups to receive payment. This creates unnecessary stress and makes it hard to manage supplies and ongoing work professionally. I hope the company improves its payment processes and communication with contractors in the future.
14th Nov 2023 (2 years ago)Cutting corners on assessments and causing issues with incorrect EPC assessments. Managed to lower our EPC by a whole 15 points while only improvements had been made from prior. Thankfully due to getting an independent assesor out. This anomaly has been fixed.
