10th Apr 2026 (28 days ago)Starting from the date my of application to viewing the property even when i requested the rent should be reduce and my request was granted, down to the day i collected the house key the whole process was smooth and great, nice meeting you all at slater Hogg falkirk. pardon me to call out some name, Craig and lorraine you both are awesome. Lastly I enjoyed the communication, by email, sms, and telephone calls most especially how the staff pass information between theirself so fast and quick what ever conversation I did with one I do not need to start all over again we just kick off and do the necessary. Kudos to you all.

I was kept update to date with all interest in our property, and they provided advice and recommendations without prompting. Homes for You are thoroughly professional and I would recommend without hesitation.

What really stood out was how quickly they generated interest and secured strong offers — my property ended up selling for over the Home Report value, which I was absolutely delighted with. They organised an excellent photographer to market the house and promoted it on social media. Very happy with using them for the sale of our home.
24th Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)Buyers and Sellers - Avoid! Based on my recent experiences as a prospective buyer, I would strongly advise both buyers and especially sellers to avoid using Clyde Properties. I attempted to arrange viewings with them on two separate occasions, and both interactions were consistently disappointing. Despite advertising “appointment only” viewings, they offered only open viewings. At the first property, it was clear that many attendees believed they had private appointments. The agent on site took no interest in the viewing, offered no information about the property, and repeatedly responded with “refer to the home report” to even basic questions. They appeared unfamiliar with the property and disengaged throughout. A second attempt to view another property was just as frustrating. Although the listing went live early in the week, the only viewings offered were during working hours on Friday and Monday. Despite requesting an alternative time well before the closing date, they made no effort to arrange one. Having sold a home through a different agency, the contrast in service quality was stark. Clyde Properties showed little willingness to work with buyers, and based on many other reviews I have since read, this seems to be a common complaint. For sellers, this lack of engagement is particularly concerning; an agency uninterested in supporting buyers will inevitably impact interest and offers. With so many other agencies offering far better service, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Personally, I will avoid properties listed with Clyde in the future, and it appears many others feel the same.

Always quick to respond to any queries, gave very helpful advice and her knowledge on the local housing market was excellent. I had a very good offer on my property within 24 hours! Would not hesitate to recommend them.

Emails are sent in a patronising and rude tone. It used to be if there was an issue it was sorted asap but now everything takes forever. Thankfully I won't have to as I bought a property but I'd never rent through them again and I'd never recommend them.

Gary has talked me through every step, also lynn ( I hope I’ve remembered her name) had phoned a few times to keep me updated. She also spoke to my mum, who though we we friends be a she was so friendly and helpful. They have took all the stress from this situation for me!!

From the outset, communication was prompt, clear, and consistent, and we were kept well informed throughout the entire process. They were always at hand by phone and email. The local office very useful to be able to pop in when needed. Our first meeting with Lyndsay was for the valuation. It was far more than just putting a price on the property, she took the time to understand our needs and provided thoughtful, informed advice about the process ahead. Her approach struck a balance between profession and a personal touch. Elaine was equally helpful, always quick to respond and offer reassurance when needed. With young children and pets, coordinating viewings could have been challenging, but the team made it easy. They worked with us to create a schedule that suited our routines and always provided plenty of notice. The photos and floorplan were handled by a professional photographer who did an excellent job with both the photography and floorplan. We were very pleased with how the property was presented. Communication was one of the standout aspects of the experience. We received regular updates on viewings, and all materials were reviewed with us first. The team were considerate in choosing how to communicate, using email when appropriate and picking up the phone when needed. They liaised efficiently with all parties involved and helped ensure a smooth process. Most importantly, we felt genuinely supported by a team that listened, guided us thoughtfully, and remained fully engaged from start to finish.
