27th Apr 2026 (12 days ago)There are Estate Agents and then there is Spencer Darrington. He really is a league above every other Estate Agent I have come across. Personal but professional. Sold our house within a week which has been on the market for over a year. We moved on to exchange and completion which was done in 16 weeks with Spencer checking in everyday with the whole chain working tirelessly to get it finalised as I had a deadline. So if you want your house sold efficiency and effectively I would use Spencer at Curcholds every time.

His valuation was accurate and the marketing information for the property was comprehensive. Sandra in the sales aftercare team kept us up to date and pursued solicitors when necessary, providing us with background information on the process. All in all we were really pleased with the Stirling Ackroyd team and their friendly and efficient service.
23rd Apr 2026 (16 days ago)A Standard of Excellence That Words Struggle to Contain There are moments in life when a professional relationship transcends the transactional and becomes something far more meaningful — and my experience with Buckinghams Estate Agents of Virginia Water has been exactly that. When I say they are an absolute credit to their industry, I do not offer those words lightly. My journey with Geoff Burgoyne and his exceptional team began in June 2024, when our father made the decision to let his home as he moved in to live with my sister. From the very first interaction, Geoff and his letting team demonstrated a level of care, thoughtfulness, and thoroughness that immediately set them apart. Having operated as a landlord for twenty-five years and having worked with a considerable number of estate agents during that time, I can state with complete conviction that Buckinghams surpasses them all — not by a small margin, but by a considerable distance. Our father passed away in June 2024, shortly after the property had been let, and the world as I knew it changed in an instant. The tenants remained in the property, and through every maintenance matter, every decision, and every development, Buckinghams handled everything with a transparency that I had simply never encountered before at this level. Every communication was clear, timely, and unsolicited — meaning I never had to chase, never had to wonder, and never had to second-guess what was happening with the property. Geoff and his team appeared to operate from a fundamental belief that a landlord, and particularly one navigating personal grief, deserved to be kept fully informed at every turn. That transparency was not a feature of their service — it was the very fabric of how they conducted themselves, and it made an immeasurable difference during one of the most difficult periods of life. When the time came to sell the property through probate — a process that is inherently emotional and, at times, deeply turbulent — Geoff and his team proved themselves to be not merely agents, but trusted partners. They were instrumental in navigating an experience that carried enormous personal weight, and they carried it with us with grace, sensitivity, and unwavering competence. Yet perhaps what moved me most during the sale process was something that no contract obliges an estate agent to do. There were minor remedial tasks required by the seller prior to completion — small but necessary jobs that many agents would have instinctively passed on to subcontractors, adding cost, delay, and yet another unfamiliar face to an already weary process. Geoff rolled up his sleeves and attended to those tasks personally. That single act speaks volumes about the character of the man and the culture of the business he has built. It is one thing to manage a sale with professionalism; it is quite another to show up in the way that Geoff did, with the kind of quiet, selfless commitment that cannot be trained into someone — it must simply be part of who they are. Buckinghams have set a benchmark that others in their industry should study and aspire to reach. They have raised the bar to a height that speaks to what this profession, at its very finest, can genuinely be. My family and I have been through an enormous amount since June 2024, and through it all, right up until exchange, Buckinghams stood with us. For that, there is no adequate measure of gratitude — only the hope that this review, in some small way, reflects the remarkable human beings behind that name. Thank you Geoff and Team.

13th Apr 2026 (26 days ago)I’m writing this on behalf of a friend to share a really disappointing and concerning experience with Knight Frank regarding a rental property in Bracknell/Lyndhurst. The property was originally listed at £3,000 pcm. My friend offered the full asking price but was told the landlord wanted to wait as it had just come on the market. Fair enough. Two months later, the price dropped to £2,800, and she again offered the asking price. At that point, she was asked to provide very personal financial information, including bank statements. Despite complying (with sensitive details redacted), the offer was rejected — with no explanation given. When she asked for feedback, the agent simply didn’t respond. Since then, the monthly rent has reduced further to £2,650. What’s more concerning is that when someone else viewed the property presenting as a “family unit,” they were strongly encouraged to make an offer. This raises serious questions about fairness and transparency in how applicants are being treated. Please note that they did not do any credit checks, and my friend is my boss and earns significantly more than I do. Also her children are in boarding school. So she can afford the rent. No one expects to be guaranteed a property, but basic professionalism, communication, and honesty should be the minimum standard. Ignoring applicants after requesting sensitive personal data is unacceptable. This experience felt dismissive, opaque, and potentially discriminatory. At the very least, applicants deserve clear communication and respect throughout the process. I would strongly advise others to proceed with caution.

The entire house-buying process was handled incredibly quickly and efficiently, which made what can often be a stressful time feel smooth and straightforward.<br><br>They were always responsive and took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly, no matter how big or small. I really appreciated how clear and transparent they were at every stage, keeping me updated and ensuring I understood exactly what was happening. I definetly will recommend this firm !

1st Apr 2026 (5 weeks ago)We are so glad we instructed Bourne estate agents. Initially we had another agent in mind, however, Bourne were able to offer a real bespoke service and gave us a clear, honest and professional pathway. From advertising to sales tactics, they were able to maximise our viewings and were present and looking impeccable during. We had so many offers! More then we expected, and Bourne were able to advise on the viability of the offers based on strict buyer vetting, quickly helping us accept the best offer. They were attentive when chasing solicitors and buyer, weekly calls for updates, always picked up the phone when I called and remained positive and reassuring, very helpful when dealing with the stress of selling. Now we have sold and moving on it’s a bitter sweet feeling, selling the home we love, but thanks to Bourne, we are getting a great offer and they also could see the great features of our home and importantly the great things about the area, relaying that to the buyer. On a final note, I want to specifically thank Andy for his dynamic personality and assertive leadership, this was the pull to choosing the Team, and to Shaun, the suit of the operation, so unbelievably well spoken and articulate, he made us feel so confident throughout the process and really looked out for our interests. We actually feel a bit sad that our journey with Bourne has come to a close, we always had a laugh and banter when we chatted for updates, the team just give off this happy and motivated energy, a testament to good leadership and work balance, this definitely reflects in their work. 26th May 2025 (11 mo. ago)Whilst the individuals who work here can be very nice, their enforcement of actioning requests to the landlord to fix issues is sub par, and the landlords they take on are not always nice people. Before taking on the property they promised all carpets and issues with the property would be fixed, they were never even attempted to be fixed. Scaffolding went up all round the property with zero warning, all walkways looked directly into the property. Nothing was explained that there was issues with the roof. Also lost access to parking space that came with the property due to scaffolding placement. Was told it would be up 3-4 weeks maximum however was still there 4 months later when I moved out. Downstairs tenants had major damp issues in their property which the landlord refused to fix. Extremely loud tenants in the property with no action from the landlord to stop it. Drugs being sold in downstairs property, no action from the landlord. Due to insufficient insulation was extremely cold and wind blew throughout, and also meant when roof was worked on everything in storage spaces got covered in debris. Eventually got cleaned after weeks of begging. Did nothing after I received very aggressive phone call directly from the landlord as to when I enquired about the scaffolding and lack of parking. Once again, nice people, but bad management and clientele.
2nd May 2026 (7 days ago)The Knights Property Services team have been amazing start to finish throughout the process of buying our property, and we’d highly recommend them. Joel was great at the start and really helped us kick things off to the point of buying the property. We were then handed over to Andy, who supported us the rest of the way. He was super helpful and always there to answer our questions or chase things up for us. Communication throughout was great and we were kept up to date on progress, and we always felt in safe hands. The only thing we would have improved was the length of the initial viewing, as we only had 15 minutes.

After the initial viewing we went back 3 times to measure up and make plans, spending a considerable amount of time at the property, this was never a problem for them. They did advise us to put the property on higher than other estate agents and then within 3 weeks suggested we lower it based on feedback on how the market had slowed. Eventually they found someone who really liked the property which was great. Very thankful to the team.

18th Apr 2026 (21 days ago)Satvinder was very helpful in trying to get viewers to buy my property. He communicated well and kept me informed. Can't fault him. He found a buyer for us, unfortunately they didn't have enough deposit to secure the offer and they had to pull out. He then managed to get more viewings. The Iranian was broke out and house price fell and it became a buyer's market, unlucky for us. I think Satvinder was lovely and helpful and will be a good negotiator when provided with more training and support. I hope this review helps, as it is meant in good faith and good spirit and I am grateful for the efforts Chancellors gave.

I have been kept up to date throughout the process and feel confident that they are supporting me as a seller. I was a little concerned at first that their valuation was £25,000 above what another agent had provided, but I needn't have been as they secured an asking price offer a week after it went onto the market!
