As a first time buyer with very little knowledge, Anne ensured I felt guided and supported at all times, making sure I fully understood my options, what everything meant and doing everything in her power to get me the best mortgage deal and rates. She has also communicated with my solicitors and estate agents on my behalf taking away a massive burden. Most importantly, she’s always been at the other end of the phone when I’ve needed her.<br>Super professional, extremely lovely and very efficient- the time from having my first meeting, a DIP and a mortgage offer was 10 days! Worth every penny! ??

29th Jun 2026 (17 weeks ago)I contacted David Hill to enquire about a quotation for a survey and to understand what his service included. Throughout our correspondence, I repeatedly asked a straightforward question about the cost of the survey. Rather than receiving a clear quotation, I was sent several very long emails that were difficult to follow and often did not answer my question directly.<br><br>Much of the correspondence focused on qualifications, court experience and a copy of his CV, rather than providing a direct answer to my request for a quotation.<br><br>As a prospective client, I made it clear that there was no urgency and that he could take whatever time he needed to prepare a quote. I also provided the information requested about the property. Despite this, the conversation became increasingly confrontational.<br><br>I was particularly disappointed by comments such as telling me to "educate yourself", suggesting that I was wasting his time, and eventually asking me never to contact him again. I found this surprising and unprofessional, especially as I was simply carrying out due diligence before committing to a significant purchase.<br><br>I cannot comment on the quality of his surveying work because I did not instruct him. However, based on my experience, I found the communication to be dismissive, unnecessarily confrontational, and lacking the professionalism I would expect when making an initial enquiry.
19th Aug 2026 (10 weeks ago)I couldn’t recommend Redwoods highly enough after they sold my property in Halifax. From start to finish the whole experience was outstanding. Their communication was excellent they kept me fully in the loop with regular updates and took the time to clearly explain every step of the process so I always knew exactly where things stood. They were genuinely proactive, anticipating issues and keeping everything moving smoothly without me having to chase.<br>What impressed me just as much is how well they look after my rental portfolio. As a landlord, I really value the care they show both me and my tenants. They handle everything professionally and thoughtfully, which gives me complete peace of mind.<br>If you’re selling a property in Halifax or need a reliable team to manage your rentals, Redwoods are the ones to go to. Outstanding service all round.

From our initial query right through to completion, dealing with the agency was a complete pleasure.<br><br>The entire team was great, but Sam in particular was absolutely amazing. She consistently went above and beyond for us, managing communication and ensuring we were kept fully informed through every milestone. It is rare to find an estate agent who combines such deep professional expertise with a genuinely warm, personal approach.<br><br>Thank you, Sam, and everyone at Charnock Bates, for turning our house buying journey into such a positive experience

Really impressed with how much they get organised not just for me as a buyer, but working between my solicitors and the sellers they got it done!<br>Cheers lads!

10th Feb 2026 (8 mo. ago)Kirsty didn’t come across as very respectful or professional in how she spoke to my partner. As first time buyers, we expected a bit more understanding and courtesy. On the other hand, Darran, who showed us around the property, was polite, professional, and knowledgeable.
22nd Oct 2026 (5 days ago)For clarity, our experience was with Enfields Luxe in 2025, before the business transferred from Enfields Leeds Ltd to Enfields North Ltd. The business has since continued under the same name and management.<br><br>We paid Enfields premium fees for a service we largely ended up managing ourselves.<br><br>Only after signing were we told they didn’t conduct evening viewings, with very limited weekend availability. Consequently, we conducted the majority of viewings ourselves.<br><br>Communication and sales progression were consistently poor. Even our buyer resorted to contacting us directly for updates.<br><br>Enfields initially rejected our formal complaint. Following nearly 11 months with The Property Ombudsman, whose adjudicator indicated our complaints regarding viewings and communication were likely to be upheld, Enfields North agreed to a £350 settlement.<br><br>They subsequently described this as a “gesture of goodwill”.<br><br>I would not recommend Enfields.

There were various bits of work which needed doing before the tenants moved in and Sian arranged and co-ordinated it all on my behalf. She carried out numerous viewings to ensure the right tenants were found and ensured the application process went quickly and smoothly, all the while keeping me fully up to date. Couldn't ask for more. A very comprehensive and thorough service. I feel reassured knowing Sian will be managing the property for me throughout the tenancy and beyond.

21st Aug 2025 (1 year ago)Property is marked as sold, initially they valued my property price very low if I hadn’t argued yet it sold within two weeks after being put on the market. Communication is very slow, no updates at all, everything is just at stand still no updates of what’s happening, Ella doesn’t respond to emails at all sometimes.
19th Oct 2026 (8 days ago)I made the difficult decision to sell a cottage which had been occupied by my family for over 250 years and met with several local estate agents. From the start, Katie impressed me with her prompt reply to my initial enquiry on a Sunday. She may not have the experience of some of the others I met, but she certainly showed enthusiasm and understood the complexities of selling a holiday cottage. I was able to contact her easily and she kept me fully in the picture. A buyer was found within a month. Highly recommend.

Beth, Michelle and Madison couldn’t have been more helpful in talking to solicitors, pushing the process along and in updating us. Very impressed, especially as we weren’t their clients.

17th Sep 2026 (6 weeks ago)Polished marketing and a “boutique” label did not translate into the service or value we expected. The photographs and brochure were well presented, but our overall experience was disappointing. We trusted their initial pricing advice. Although the starting price was proposed as a short trial, the substantial reductions that followed and the eventual sale price left us questioning, in hindsight, the realism and quality of that advice. The eventual buyers first viewed through this agency. We ended their instruction without an offer having been secured through them, and another agent subsequently negotiated the sale and handled its progression to completion. Given the high fee, we expected much more from the advice, personal support and service provided. In our view, the fee was disproportionate to their contribution to the completed sale. Based on our experience, we would not recommend them.

We only had viewers who were genuinely interested in the property. this was a refreshing change from other agents we have used.
