22nd Apr 2026 (17 days ago)Our chain looked straight forward on paper but we had so many unnecessary issues up and down the chain which caused us so much stress and confusion. One of the only reliable professionals we had was Heidi. She was the agent for the house we were purchasing and she went above and beyond what she needed to do to help keep the chain moving and get us some answers to what was going on. If we ever move again we would probably use Simon Blyth.
18th Jul 2025 (9 mo. ago)Charge customer for a expensive cleaning service, when ever the room got broken toile cover and unclean floor from the beginning.Even the wall are dirty with broken mirror on the wall. They don't even want to repair the house ?just continue checking and annoying. Respond: The kitchen floor and ceiling are always flooded with water, but they do nothing for the leaking. I need to clean the floor for many times. They should pay for my cleaning service aswell. No matter how clean when I clean up the room, they always told the tenant it's not clean enough and charge for a expensive cleaning service. They just want to get your money from the deposit. Don't trust them !

Its hard monotonous graft and your perseverance and attention to detail have been brilliant ! Also Olivia many thanks for the help in resolving difficulties in 2025, again your dogged perseverance was greatly appreciated - you have the patience of a saint !!
28th Aug 2025 (8 mo. ago)My experience with Hamilton bower was excellent. Friendly staff on the ball and very intentive. Sold my property very quickly. Della was especially helpful offering to help with filling in any paper work from the conveyancer I thought that was a nice touch.

They went above and beyond to get the viewers in to look at the property and tried their best to advertise the house in the best way possible. Finally we have a buyer and its thanks to David and Freddie. Trust, honesty and straight talking is what you want and its what we got with them so thank you both again.

Ava and all the staff made the entire process smooth, professional, and surprisingly straightforward. From the initial valuation to the final completion, their communication was excellent—always keeping me informed and responding quickly to any questions I had. Their knowledge of the market was clear, and their advice helped me secure a great offer in a timely manner. Thank you Ava & all of the staff for making a stressful time run so smoothly. Highly recommend.
2nd Feb 2026 (14 weeks ago)Having recently moved house after choosing Butcher Residential to sell my home of the past 22 years - I can not say how amazing all the staff were, especially Mel and Holly. Always there when I needed them and were happy to give help, advice and plenty of emotional support when required!! They made a stressful situation seamless and I would not hesitate to use Butchers again.

Good service with action on all communication about the property.- 29th Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)Claire and Hannah are absolutely fantastic. It took me a year to sell my apartment due to the long conveyancing process of selling leasehold apartments and a first buyer pulled out very close to the end of the process. But Claire and the team found two buyers in very quick succession and had the property taken off the market. They are very quick and attentive to the admin requirements when dealing with a property sale and also good at keeping you in the loop with chasing solicitors through the sale process. I have deal with a few estate agents over the last year but Claire and her team are by far the best.

When we went to collect the keys to our new house, we were delighted to receive a welcome hamper of prosecco and Yorkshire goodies.
