As a first time buyer with very little knowledge, Anne ensured I felt guided and supported at all times, making sure I fully understood my options, what everything meant and doing everything in her power to get me the best mortgage deal and rates. She has also communicated with my solicitors and estate agents on my behalf taking away a massive burden. Most importantly, she’s always been at the other end of the phone when I’ve needed her.<br>Super professional, extremely lovely and very efficient- the time from having my first meeting, a DIP and a mortgage offer was 10 days! Worth every penny! ??

19th Aug 2026 (10 weeks ago)I couldn’t recommend Redwoods highly enough after they sold my property in Halifax. From start to finish the whole experience was outstanding. Their communication was excellent they kept me fully in the loop with regular updates and took the time to clearly explain every step of the process so I always knew exactly where things stood. They were genuinely proactive, anticipating issues and keeping everything moving smoothly without me having to chase.<br>What impressed me just as much is how well they look after my rental portfolio. As a landlord, I really value the care they show both me and my tenants. They handle everything professionally and thoughtfully, which gives me complete peace of mind.<br>If you’re selling a property in Halifax or need a reliable team to manage your rentals, Redwoods are the ones to go to. From our initial query right through to completion, dealing with the agency was a complete pleasure.<br><br>The entire team was great, but Sam in particular was absolutely amazing. She consistently went above and beyond for us, managing communication and ensuring we were kept fully informed through every milestone. His professionalism, expertise, and commitment have been outstanding from start to finish. Whenever things have stalled, Matt has been proactive in chasing the vendor and both sides of the solicitors to keep everything moving forward. His communication and willingness to go the extra mile have made a real difference throughout the whole process.<br><br>I genuinely couldn’t fault Matt and the service he has provided. He has been fantastic throughout, and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone looking to buy a property.<br><br>If I were looking to buy or sell a property in the future, I would be more than happy to have Matt handling it again.

8th Oct 2026 (19 days ago)Amazing service from Adam and the team! Within around 48 hours of raising an enquiry, Adam came around to value the house. He was honest, professional and timely. Shortly after, he then came around to take pictures/measurements of the house and again was professional and warm. He explained everything he was doing as he was doing it.<br><br>When selling the house, we were communicating with Jess who was just as great! Her responses was prompt and she always kept us in the loop. After a blip where the initial sale fell through, she and the team were prompt in getting the house back on the market ready for viewings.<br><br>Protheroe Property made our move seamless and alleviated some of the stress. Their communication was prompt, effective, and always warm. I don't think we waited longer than a few hours for a response. They worked hard to get our sale through and we would use them again in a heartbeat :)

There were various bits of work which needed doing before the tenants moved in and Sian arranged and co-ordinated it all on my behalf. She carried out numerous viewings to ensure the right tenants were found and ensured the application process went quickly and smoothly, all the while keeping me fully up to date. Couldn't ask for more. A very comprehensive and thorough service. I feel reassured knowing Sian will be managing the property for me throughout the tenancy and beyond.

They gave me two price estimates - to sell with and without improvements. Once on the market, Kaylee kept in touch and answered any questions I had. The service was excellent from start to finish and I would recommend them to anyone!

From the start, Katie impressed me with her prompt reply to my initial enquiry on a Sunday. She may not have the experience of some of the others I met, but she certainly showed enthusiasm and understood the complexities of selling a holiday cottage. I was able to contact her easily and she kept me fully in the picture. A buyer was found within a month. Highly recommend.

13th Oct 2026 (14 days ago)?????<br><br>Where do we even begin!<br><br>My partner and I recently sold our property through Hughes, and what a rollercoaster of a journey it's been! Through absolutely no fault of Hughes, our experience of buying and selling has certainly had its fair share of ups and downs.<br><br>It all started when we found our first potential home, only to have our offer rejected. The same thing happened with the second property, but thankfully, it was third time lucky!<br><br>Throughout this process, Lewis was incredibly patient, supportive and reassuring, always reminding us that the right property would come along for us and our family. And he was right!<br><br>Fast forward to the day before completion, and what should have been an exciting time turned into our worst nightmare when our buyers pulled out. Rachel worked tirelessly to get everything back on track, going above and beyond to help save our move. I genuinely cannot thank her enough for her determination, hard work and support during what was an incredibly stressful time.<br><br>Even on completion day, the challenges weren't quite over! The property we were purchasing hadn't been fully cleared, with numerous belongings still left behind. Danielle stepped in and communicated with our buyers, explaining the situation and why we hadn't been able to completely empty our own property.<br><br>What really stood out to us was that, whenever another problem arose, there was always someone at Hughes willing to help, reassure us and find a solution.<br><br>I'd like to say a massive personal thank you to Lewis, Rachel, Danielle and the entire Hughes team.
