17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)What a different way to sell a home, with supportive, gentle and trustworthy people. We’d been mulling over the idea of relocating out of London for years and even discussed putting our home on the market with Unique previously. What we like is that there is no big sales pitch, no pressure to sell, just listening and responding. But more importantly, keeping both our buyers and us calm, communicative and friendly throughout the sale, so it felt as smooth as it could possibly be. We’re not planning to do move again any time soon, but we’d definitely use Unique if we were.

27th Feb 2026 (19 days ago)Was recommended MOV8 from my mortgage advisor and as a first time buyer, can say everything went incredibly smoothly, all questions answered, all details explained well, really was an easy process. Would highly recommend and would use MOV8 again for any future property requirements.
20th Nov 2025 (17 weeks ago)We are still mid missives, moving towards exchange of contract day, but so far, it's all been good. I was selling on behalf of my brother with dementia, but they were very understanding and helpful. Advertising etc was good - it was not an easy property to sell, but they did it. All communications have been clear and good. I only did 4 stars for value for money as we are yet to see what the final costs will be. Nonetheless, as I live far away, it was important to have someone deal with everything, swiftly, simply and with clarity.

23rd Oct 2025 (21 weeks ago)As Trustees of my recently deceased Fathers will and estate they are refusing to manage his estate. I was advised by telephone that the senior partners advise of not doing 'conflict'. No further explanation than this. A very disloyal response for the thousands of pounds my father spent over his lifetime with this company. I have now been referred to the SLCC by the Law Society.
15th Mar 2026 (3 days ago)We have been really pleased with the service provided by Your Move, Elgin. The marketing materials produced were to a really high standard, showcasing the best of our home. Daniel and Nicoya were on hand whenever needed and I found any advice we received to be well balanced and with our own interests at the forefront. We were kept well informed throughout and I felt that they worked hard to keep interest in our property high.

Tasked with selling a property, we had numerous questions and concerns. Gary Allerton visited the house within a few days, guided us through every step of the property sales process and offered practical suggestions to make things easier for us. He helped us connect with local professionals for necessary repairs before listing and ensured everything met the conditions of sale. We were especially impressed by the prompt responses to our emails from Canada and the efficiency with which arrangements were made. The house listing and sales brochure were expertly prepared. 21st Mar 2025 (11 mo. ago)Best estate agents in Cumbria. When selling our house we initially overlooked Lakes Estates and went for an established regional agent. That was a mistake. That established agent rested on their laurels and ultimately proved totally ineffective. However, despite initially rejecting Lakes Estates, when approached a second time Glenn happily took over and marketed our property at an increased selling price, achieving a sale very quickly. He knows the market and what buyers want. His approach is personal, professional and ultimately highly effective. He is open and honest - refreshing qualities for an estate agent. Office Manager Hannah is diligent, polite and also extremely efficient in her role. Nothing is too much trouble for her. We encountered some minor issues during the sales process that Hannah easily took in her stride. If you are in Cumbria, these are the agents you should use.
11th Sep 2025 (6 mo. ago)I was looking to purchase a property being sold through The Grange earlier this year. My viewings were arranged quickly and the lady who showed me round the property was friendly and helpful. It was only when the estate agent Helen got involved when I made a verbal offer that things deteriorated. Whilst I understand that she was looking out for her client and wanted to get the best price that she could for them her negotiating skills were non existant and she was rude, dismissive and spoke in a condesending manner saying "I'm not sure if you have bought a property recently but I have sold ones recently for £10k/£15k over the asking price" in order to get/ justify me putting in a higher bid even though it was already in excess of the asking price. I walked away only for her to contact me several weeks later when my offer was accepted. A bit of self reflection on how you deal with your potential buyers wouldn't go amiss.

I initially started off with a solicitor estate agent, and sat on the market for the best part of a year with very little viewings. I contact Nicola and after speaking with her decided to proceed. I was blown away with the service, she prepared my house for the photographs. It made such a difference and she was genuinely excited about showing my property. Two months in and we received an offer. Nicola came round on the day of the move to make sure we were on track. She has a very calming, caring nature, whilst efficiently guiding you. Thank you for making it a pleasurable experience.
